Description

The present invention relates to a self-luminous guide light that is installed along a shoulder or the like of a curved road to guide a vehicle driver's line of sight by lighting and displaying the road alignment.

On the shoulders of roads that have been curved in the past, line-of-sight guide lights that display the alignment of the roads are installed at predetermined intervals along the road shoulders. Among such line-of-sight guide lamps, a self-luminous lamp described in Patent Document 1 is known.
This line-of-sight guide lamp includes a light-emitting unit incorporating a light source, and a support base fixed to a road shoulder or the like by an anchor bolt. The light emitting unit is installed on a support base via a support column at a predetermined height corresponding to the driver's line of sight. Nipples are provided at the lower end of the light emitting unit and the upper end of the support base. The upper and lower ends of the closely wound coil spring are screwed into the spiral grooves of the upper and lower nipples, respectively, and the light emitting portion is tiltably connected to the support base in the front-rear and left-right directions. The closely coiled coil spring is covered with a flexible waterproof tube. A pair of upper and lower cup-shaped caps are attached so as to cover each nipple via the waterproof tube. In such a configuration, the closely wound coil spring elastically supports the light emitting portion, and is tilted in the front-rear and left-right directions due to its elastic deformation to absorb the impact at the time of contact and collision.

The line-of-sight guide light needs to be fixed by adjusting the angle around the column axis of the light emitting unit so as to correspond to the line of sight of the driver of the vehicle traveling on the curved road. However, the above-mentioned conventional line-of-sight guide lamp is not easy to adjust and fix the angle around the support shaft, and easily breaks due to overtightening of the nut for fixing around the shaft.
Therefore, the invention according to this application is a line-of-sight guide lamp in which a closely wound coil spring elastically supports a lamp body and can absorb a shock at the time of contact and collision by tilting and restoring in the front-rear and left-right directions by its elastic deformation. Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a line-of-sight guide lamp that is easy to adjust and fix the angle around the support shaft and is less susceptible to damage due to overtightening of the fixing nut.
In addition, an object of the present invention is to provide a line-of-sight guide lamp that does not cause electric corrosion even when the lamp body and the first nipple are made of different metals.
Another object of the invention of this application is to provide a line-of-sight guide lamp that can reliably protect a penetrating power cable and at the same time effectively prevent plastic deformation due to repeated folding of a closely wound coil spring.
