ところで、本発明者らが用いていた従来の濾過装置では、筒状部材20の先端部30と袋ナットをフランジ32aを介して締結する締結部構造を用いることにより、袋ナットの端面をフランジ32aの端面に固着した状態で濾過装置を使用していた。
ところが、10μmのフィルター孔径(濾紙の目)の濾紙を用いて被処理液体を濾過装置で処理していたときに、濾過液(処理液 清澄液)にごく微細な異物が混入するトラブルが発生した。
本発明者らは、以下のような対策を鋭意検討した。
すなわち、まず、フィルター孔径を1μmに変更したが、濾過液への異物の混入を完全に排除することはできなかった。
つぎに、120℃の温度の被処理液を6時間処理した後、ケーシングからフィルター部材を抜き出して締結部の状況を確認したところ、フランジ32aの端面から袋ナットの端面が2mm程度浮いている(離間している)ことが確認された。これにより、フランジ32aと筒状部材20の間の隙間から、フランジ32aと筒状部材20の隙間を介して筒状部材20の内部に異物を含む被処理液体が直接漏れこんでいる可能性があることが分かった。
袋ナットの端面の浮きは袋ナットの緩みによるものと想定された。袋ナットの緩みの原因のひとつには袋ナットの締め付け力不足が考えられるため、袋ナットの締め付け力を通常よりも過大にすることを試みたが、6時間濾過処理した後の締結部の袋ナットの浮きの状況は改善されなかった。
また、例えば濾過装置が稼動中に受ける振動によって回動することで袋ナットが緩んでいるかどうかを確認するために、袋ナットとフランジ32aの双方にマーキングした状態で、6時間濾過処理した後の締結状態を確認したところ、両者のマーキングの位置ずれは見られず、袋ナットの浮きは袋ナットが振動等により回動して緩んだことによるものではないことが分かった。
そこで、全長が約1000mmある筒状部材20が濾過処理中に熱膨張することが原因ではないかと思い至った。筒状部材20の材料であるSUS304は線膨張係数が17.3×10−6/℃であり、常温から例えば120℃まで加熱されることにより計算上1.7mm伸びることが分かった。一方、先に確認したフランジ26aの端面から袋ナットの端面が浮く間隔は2mm程度であり、両者がほぼ符合することが分かった。
本実施の形態に係る締結部構造は、この知見に基づいて得たものである。

As a result, the end face of the cap nut floated about 2 mm from the end face of the flange 32a ( Separated). As a result, there is a possibility that the liquid to be treated containing foreign matter may directly leak into the tubular member 20 from the gap between the flange 32a and the tubular member 20 through the gap between the flange 32a and the tubular member 20. The float on the end face of the cap nut was assumed to be due to the looseness of the cap nut. One of the causes of loosening of the cap nut is considered to be insufficient tightening force of the cap nut, so we tried to increase the cap nut tightening force more than usual, but the bag of the fastening part after filtering for 6 hours The condition of the nut floating was not improved.
Further, for example, in order to confirm whether the cap nut is loosened by rotating by the vibration received during operation of the filter device, after filtering for 6 hours in a state where both the cap nut and the flange 32a are marked. As a result of confirming the fastening state, it was found that there was no misalignment between the markings of the two, and the lifting of the cap nut was not caused by the cap nut rotating due to vibration or the like and being loosened.
Then, it came to mind that the cylindrical member 20 having a total length of about 1000 mm might be caused by thermal expansion during the filtration process. SUS304, which is a material of the cylindrical member 20, has a linear expansion coefficient of 17.3 × 10 −6 / ° C., and it has been found that when it is heated from room temperature to, for example, 120 ° C., it is 1.7 mm in calculation. On the other hand, the interval at which the end face of the cap nut floats from the end face of the flange 26a confirmed previously is about 2 mm, and it was found that the two coincide substantially.
The fastening portion structure according to the present embodiment is obtained based on this finding.
