Claims (10)
- サービスに関するユーザ・セッションの期間中にコンバージェンスを使用可能なエンドユーザ装置のためのサービス品質を向上させる方法であって、
1又はそれ以上の知識ベースに、ネットワーク性能データを蓄積し、かつ更新する工程と、
複数のネットワーク要素の第1の群を介した前記コンバージェンス使用可能なエンドユーザ装置と宛先ノードとの間で前記ユーザ・セッションを確立する工程と、
ネットワーク要素の前記第1の群から受信されるリアルタイムの性能メトリクスから前記セッションに関連する性能値を測定する工程と、
前記1又はそれ以上の知識ベースに蓄積された前記以前のネットワーク状況と、前記ユーザ・セッションに関して低下したサービス品質を示す前記リアルタイムで測定された性能値とに応じて、第1の群の少なくとも一つのネットワーク要素に関係するネットワーク・ルーティングを動的に適合させる工程とを含むことを特徴とする方法。 - サービス品質を向上させる前記方法は、サービスに関する前記ユーザ・セッションをサポートするための前記ネットワークの向上した品質部分を選択する工程を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記測定された性能値は、前記ユーザ・セッションをサポートするネットワーク構成要素の性能値を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 性能値を測定する前記工程は、前記セッションの期間中に前記複数のネットワーク構成要素の性能メトリクスをモニタする工程を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ユーザ・セッションを確立する前記工程は、前記コンバージェンス使用可能なエンドユーザ装置のユーザから特定のアクセス・ネットワークに関してセッション開始要求を受信する工程を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 性能値を測定する前記工程は、ビット誤り率(BER)、信号対ノイズ(S/N)比、電力レベル、経路混雑度、待ち時間、ネットワーク要素利用度、ネットワーク・リンク利用度、ジッタ、ネットワーク要素信頼性、サービス信頼性、とられるルーティング経路、およびルーティング経路のコストのうちの少なくとも1つを判定する工程を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 性能値を測定する前記工程は、ネットワーク要素の前記第1の群を通過するパケットにタイムスタンプを付ける工程を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 性能値を測定する前記工程は、
前記性能メトリクスから前記性能値を計算する工程と、
前記測定された性能値のうちの少なくとも1つが少なくとも1つの関連する閾値を超えるかどうかを判定する工程と、
を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - コンバージェンス使用可能なエンドユーザ装置と宛先ノードとの間で、第1の複数のネットワーク要素によってサポートされるユーザ・セッションに付随する性能値を測定する工程と、
前記1又はそれ以上の知識ベースに蓄積された前記以前のネットワーク状況と、前記ユーザ・セッションに関して低下したサービス品質を示す前記リアルタイムで測定された性能値とに応じて、前記第1の複数のネットワーク要素の少なくとも一つに関係するネットワーク・ルーティングを動的に適合させる工程とを含むことを特徴とする方法。 - サービスに関するユーザ・セッションの期間中のコンバージェンス使用可能なエンドユーザ装置のためのサービス品質を向上させるための装置であって、
1又はそれ以上の知識ベースに、ネットワーク性能データを蓄積し、かつ更新する手段と、
ネットワークを形成する複数のネットワーク要素の第1の群を介した前記コンバージェンス使用可能なエンドユーザ装置と宛先ノードとの間で、前記ユーザ・セッションを確立する手段と、
ネットワーク要素の前記第1の群から受信されるリアルタイムの性能メトリクスから前記セッションに関連する性能値を測定する手段と、
前記1又はそれ以上の知識ベースに蓄積された前記以前のネットワーク状況、と、前記ユーザ・セッションに関して低下したサービス品質を示す前記リアルタイムで測定された性能値とに応じて、前記第1の群のうちの少なくとも1つのネットワーク要素をプロビジョニングする手段とを含むことを特徴とする装置。
