Description
The present invention relates to a condenser microphone unit and a condenser microphone, and is particularly suitable for use in a control system including an acoustic system.
A microphone may be used for a control system including an acoustic system. For example, active noise control used in noise cancellation systems, noise cancellation headphones, etc. is one of them. One of them is motional feedback (MFB) mainly used for speaker systems. In such a control system using a microphone that is an electroacoustic transducer, the propagation speed of sound waves is slow, and therefore, the audible frequency band is mainly used in a relatively low frequency band of 1 kHz or less.
Since the control system is mainly used for sound pressure control, an omnidirectional condenser microphone is used. The reason is that the control system of the omnidirectional condenser microphone is an elastic control system, and the frequency response in the main frequency band is flat and the phase rotation is very small. In general, a commercially available omnidirectional electret condenser microphone unit is used as the omnidirectional condenser microphone. However, in the case of an electret condenser microphone unit having a small diameter, the frequency response is good, but since the effective area is small and the stray capacitance is large, the equivalent sound pressure level of natural noise is high, that is, the S / N ratio is poor. There is a problem.
In order to solve the above problem, it is conceivable to increase the sensitivity by increasing the volume of the air chamber at the rear of the diaphragm. However, according to such a configuration, although the sensitivity is improved, the high frequency resonance frequency becomes a low frequency, so that the stability of the control system is impaired due to the problem of phase rotation, and the control system is likely to oscillate. There are difficulties. Further, since a flat frequency response can be obtained up to a frequency of 1 kHz or higher, it is necessary to electrically reduce the signal level of a high frequency with a filter in order to use it in a relatively low frequency band of 1 kHz or lower.
FIG. 5 shows a conventional example of a single omnidirectional condenser microphone unit used in a control system including an acoustic system. 5, the
The
As is well known, when the
FIG. 7 shows the frequency response of the conventional condenser microphone unit, that is, the measured value of the output level with respect to the frequency. Fig. 7 (a) shows an image at the time of actual measurement. A sound wave having a constant sound pressure is generated from the speaker while changing the frequency, and this is received by a condenser microphone placed at a predetermined distance and converted into an electrical signal. The output level was measured. The measurement results are shown in FIG. In FIG. 7B, the curve “0 °” is a curve obtained by measuring the microphone directly facing the speaker as shown in FIG. 7A, and the curve “90 °” is the microphone. The curve obtained by rotating 90 ° in the plane parallel to the paper surface in 7 (a) and measuring “180 °” is obtained by rotating the
As described above, the control system including the acoustic system is mainly used in a relatively low frequency band of 1 kHz or less. However, according to the conventional condenser microphone unit, the output level tends to decrease in a low frequency band of 1 kHz or less. Therefore, it is not preferable as a sensor for a control system including an acoustic system. Therefore, as described above, it is necessary to electrically reduce the signal level of the high frequency with the filter.

In order to obtain a condenser microphone unit suitable for use in a control system including an acoustic system, the present invention is suitable for use in a relatively low frequency band such as 1 kHz or less, and filters a signal level in a high frequency band. It is an object of the present invention to provide a condenser microphone unit that does not need to be attenuated by the condenser microphone and a condenser microphone using the same.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a condenser microphone unit capable of changing sensitivity and frequency response, and a condenser microphone using the same.
The present invention relates to an omnidirectional condenser microphone unit, comprising a diaphragm that vibrates in response to a sound wave, a counter electrode that is disposed to face the diaphragm and forms a capacitor together with the diaphragm, and a housing. An insulating holder for holding the diaphragm and the counter electrode, a front air chamber formed on the back side of the counter electrode, a rear air chamber formed on the back side of the insulating holder, and the insulating holder an acoustic terminal that communicates the front air chamber and the rear air chamber is formed has an acoustic resistance member which is attached to the acoustic terminal, and the rear end opening of the housing, the insulating holder And the rear air chamber is formed by the inner peripheral surface of the housing, the insulating holder, and the fixing plate, and the fixing plate. A possible positioning with respect to the housing, the volume of the rear air chamber is adjusted by the position of the fixed plate, the most important feature that.
In the condenser microphone unit, it is usual to form an air chamber on the back side of the counter electrode. However, in addition to this, the present invention forms a separate air chamber on the rear side of the air chamber, thereby insulating the air chamber. It communicates with the front air chamber via an acoustic terminal formed on the holder. That is, a plurality of air chambers communicating with each other via the acoustic terminal are formed on the back side of the counter electrode. By adding the rear air chamber, the air chamber on the back side of the counter electrode is substantially enlarged, and the frequency response in a relatively low frequency band such as 1 kHz or less is improved, and a control system including an acoustic system is provided. A condenser microphone unit having desirable characteristics can be obtained. In addition, according to the present invention, the acoustic resistance added to the acoustic terminal of the insulating holder can be changed to an appropriate value, thereby changing the frequency response characteristics. Further, the frequency response characteristic can be adjusted by making the capacity of the rear air chamber variable.
Hereinafter, embodiments of a condenser microphone unit and a condenser microphone according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
In FIG. 1, a

An appropriate number of holes are formed in the

The fixing
According to the embodiment of the condenser microphone unit described above, in the low frequency band, a plurality of
FIG. 2 shows an equivalent circuit of the above embodiment. In FIG. 2, P 0 is the sound pressure applied to the

FIG. 4 shows the result of actual measurement of the frequency response of the condenser microphone unit with respect to only the non-directional component, comparing the case of the above-described embodiment of the present invention with the case of the conventional example. If the curve X 0 is the embodiment of the present invention, the curve Z is the conventional case. Measurement was performed in a mode in which the microphone was rotated 90 ° with respect to the measurement speaker. By adding the

The level of the inherent noise does not change just by adding the
