Claims (2)
- 非導電性流体ジェットから生成される流体液滴を特定する装置であって:
ノズルチャネル;
前記ノズルチャネルと流体のやり取りをし、かつ前記ノズルチャネルを介して前記非導電性流体のジェットを生成するように動作できる加圧源;及び
特定用電極;
を有し、
前記特定用電極の少なくとも一部は導電性で、かつ前記非導電性流体の第1部分と接触し、その後前記非導電性流体の第2部分と接触し、
前記特定用電極の前記少なくとも一部の導電性部分は、前記非導電性流体ジェットの前記第1部分である領域へ第1電荷を移送し、前記非導電性流体ジェットの前記第2部分である領域へ第2電荷を移送するように動作でき、
前記非導電性流体ジェットの前記第1部分から生成される第1流体液滴は第1特性を有し、かつ
前記非導電性流体ジェットの前記第2部分から生成される第2流体液滴は第2特性を有する、
装置。 - 流体液滴を特定する方法であって:
非導電性流体ジェットを供する工程;
特定用電極の導電性部分に第1電荷を供する工程;
前記非導電性流体ジェットの第1部分と前記の特定用電極の導電性部分とを接触させる工程であって、前記の非導電性流体ジェットの第1部分から生成される第1流体液滴は第1特性を有する工程によって、前記第1電荷を、前記の特定用電極の導電性部分から前記の非導電性流体ジェットの第1部分へ移送することによって、前記の非導電性流体ジェットの第1部分から生成される前記第1流体液滴を特定する工程;
前記特定用電極の前記導電性部分に第2電荷を供する工程;及び
前記非導電性流体ジェットの第2部分と前記の特定用電極の導電性部分とを接触させる工程であって、前記の非導電性流体ジェットの第2部分から生成される第2流体液滴は第2特性を有する工程によって、前記第2電荷を、前記の特定用電極の導電性部分から前記非導電性流体ジェットの第2部分へ移送することによって、前記の非導電性流体ジェットの第2部分から生成される前記第2流体液滴を特定する工程;
を有する方法。
