Description

The present invention relates to a branch structure of a wire harness, and particularly to a structure in which a T-shaped or cross-shaped branch portion of a wire harness is covered with an exterior material.

In order to prevent external interference with other in-vehicle components and the like, a required part of a wire harness routed in an automobile is covered with an exterior material such as a vinyl chloride sheet.
In addition, the wire harness routed to the automobile branches off the branch line from the main line at a required position and is connected to each electric device installed in the vehicle. At this branch portion, as shown in FIG. In other words, the exterior material 3 covering the branch line 2 is divided, and a branching portion is exposed from the exterior material 3.

In order to protect such a branched portion of the wire harness, a branch portion exterior material such as a protective sheet 4 shown in FIGS. 5A and 5B has been conventionally used. The protective sheet 4 is formed by forming a plurality of winding pieces 6a and 6b by inserting a plurality of slits 5 such as length and width into the sheet, and winding the winding pieces 6a and 6b around the trunk line 7 and the branch line 8 to cover the branching portion. is there. (See Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 3-3116 (Patent Document 1))

However, this type of protective sheet 4 is a sheet that covers only the branch portion, and is used as a separate component separate from the exterior material that covers the trunk line and branch line, which increases the number of components and increases costs. Also, it takes time to manage parts. Further, in the case of a cross-shaped branch in which the branch line 8 is branched on both sides from the intermediate position of the trunk line 7, as shown in FIG. 6, even if the protective sheet 4 with the slit position changed is used, the branch part can be completely covered. It cannot be said that the exposed portion 9 is formed, so that it cannot be said that the harness can be sufficiently protected.

Japanese Utility Model Publication No.3-3116

The present invention has been made in view of the above problems. In the branch structure of a wire harness, the branch portion can be protected with an exterior material, the number of exterior material parts can be reduced, and the cost can be reduced. It is a problem to be able to cope with not only a T-shaped branch but also a cross-shaped branch.

In order to solve the above problems, the present invention is a wire harness branching structure in which a resin sheet is wound around a branch point of a branch line from a main line of the wire harness,
The sheet comprises a belt-like sheet having a main wire covering portion wound around the outer periphery of the main wire and a branch covering portion wound around the branch portion, and the branch covering portion is spaced from one end in the length direction of the sheet in the width direction. It consists of first to fourth divided pieces provided on one side of the length direction by inserting the first to third slits from the three opened positions to a predetermined position in the length direction, and these divided pieces are provided. The other part of the non-sheet is the trunk line covering part,
The trunk line covering portion is wound around the outer circumference of the trunk line and is fixed by facing both ends in the width direction,
The branch covering portion is folded in half with the second slit as a fulcrum, and the first and fourth divided pieces are opposed and fixed,
In the case of a cruciform branch in which the branch line branches on both sides from the middle position of the trunk line, one branch line is passed through the second slit, the other branch line is passed through the first or third slit,
In the case of a T-shaped branch in which the branch line branches to one side from the intermediate position of the trunk line, the branch line is passed through any one of the first to third slits, and the branch is made at the second and third divided pieces. Cover the point and project the tip of the second and third divided pieces beyond the branch point in the axial direction of the opposite trunk line, and wrap and fix the protruding part around the opposite trunk line with adhesive tape A branching structure for a wire harness is provided.

By setting it as the said branch structure, since it can cover with the 2nd, 3rd division | segmentation piece of the said sheet | seat, without exposing the said branch location of a wire harness, this branch location can be protected effectively. In addition, since the branch portion is covered with the leading end portion of the sheet that covers the main line, there is no need to prepare a separate sheet from the main line sheet for the branch point as in the past, and the number of parts can be reduced and the parts can be reduced. Management effort can be reduced, and cost can be reduced.

Further, according to the branch structure, not only the T-shaped branch portion but also the cross-shaped branch portion can be completely covered with the sheet, so that one type of sheet can be used for both the T-shaped branch and the cross-shaped branch. Can also be supported. Therefore, also from this point, the number of types of parts can be reduced, and cost can be reduced.

On one surface side of the sheet, an adhesive portion is formed by applying an adhesive over the entire length in the length direction along one end in the width direction, and the first and third slits of the branch covering portion are at both ends in the width direction of the sheet. It is provided at a position that is the same width as the width of the adhesive portion from the edge.

Thus, by forming the adhesive part on one end side in the width direction of the sheet, the work of closing and winding the sheet wound around the wire harness can be facilitated, and workability can be improved.
In addition, the width between the both ends of the sheet in the width direction and the first and third slits is aligned with the width of the adhesive portion because the width between the both ends of the sheet in the width direction and the slit is smaller than the width of the adhesive portion. In this case, when the sheet is rolled up into a cylindrical shape, the cylindrical body is closed on the first and third slit sides by the adhesive portion, and the sheet cannot be attached to the cross-shaped branch. When the width between the edge and the slit is larger than the width of the adhesive portion, when the sheet is formed into a cylindrical shape, the cylindrical body opens too much on the first and third slit sides, and the branching portion is easily exposed from the sheet. Due to

In addition, it is good also as a structure which apply | coats an adhesive to the whole surface of the one surface side of a sheet | seat, and fixes and winds the said sheet | seat on the outer peripheral surface of a trunk line and a branch location.

As described above, according to the present invention, the first to third slits are formed on one end side in the length direction of the sheet to form the first to fourth divided pieces, whereby the branch portion of the wire harness is Since it can be covered with the second and third divided pieces of the sheet, it can be effectively protected without exposing the branched portion. In addition, since the branch portion is covered with the leading end portion of the sheet wound around the main line, it is not necessary to prepare a separate sheet for the branch portion from the main line sheet. Therefore, the number of parts can be reduced, and the labor of parts management can be reduced, so that the cost can be reduced.

Furthermore, since the sheet can be used for both a T-shaped branch point and a cross-shaped branch point in one type and can cover any shape of the branch point without exposing it, depending on the shape of the branch point There is no need to prepare different sheets, and from this point, the number of types of parts can be reduced and the cost can be reduced.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
1 and 2 show a branch structure of a wire harness according to the first embodiment of the present invention.
The branch point P1 of the wire harness in the present embodiment is a cross-shaped branch in which the branch lines 12A and 12B are branched on both sides from the intermediate position of the main line 11 of the wire harness 10, and from the main line 11A on one side across the branch point P1. The sheet 20 is wound around the branch point P1 to protect it.

As shown in FIG. 1, the sheet 20 is made of a resinous belt-like sheet. On one surface side of the sheet 20, an adhesive portion 30 is formed by applying an adhesive over the entire length along one edge in the width direction. Further, the branch covering portion 22 is formed on one end side in the length direction of the sheet 20, and the other portion is used as the main line covering portion 21.

As shown in FIG. 1, the branch covering portion 22 includes three slits 23 to 25 formed by cutting a required length in the length direction from one end 20 a in the length direction of the sheet 20, and the slits 23 to 25. It consists of four division pieces 26-29 separated by.
Specifically, the three slits 23 to 25 are sequentially spaced from the one end 20b of the sheet 20 on the side where the adhesive portion 30 is formed in the width direction, in order, the first slit 23, the second slit 24, and the third slit 25. The portion sandwiched between the width direction end 20b of the sheet 20 and the first slit 23 is the first divided piece 26, and the portion sandwiched between the first slit 23 and the second slit 24 is the second divided piece 27 and the second slit. A portion sandwiched between 24 and the third slit 25 is a third divided piece 28, and a portion sandwiched between the third slit 25 and the other end 20 c in the width direction of the sheet 20 is a fourth divided piece 29.

The second slit 24 is formed at an intermediate position in the width direction of the sheet 20. The first slit 23 is formed at a position spaced from the one end 20b of the sheet 20 on the side where the adhesive portion 30 is formed, and the third slit 25 does not form the adhesive portion 30 of the sheet 20. It forms in the position which left the space | interval L2 from the other end 20c of the side, and the space | intervals L1 and L2 are made into the same dimension as the width W1 of the adhesion part 30. FIG.

The lengths of the first slit 23, the second slit 24, and the third slit 25 are set to a length that takes into account the winding allowance of the adhesive tape 35, which will be described later, and the outer diameters of the branch lines 12A and 12B. Yes.

When attaching the sheet 20 having the above configuration to the wire harness 10, first, one branch line 12A is inserted into the back end 24a side of the second slit 24 of the sheet 20 as shown in FIG. In this state, as shown in FIG. 2 (B), the main wire covering portion 21 of the sheet 20 is wound around the outer periphery of the main wire 11A so that the adhesive portion 30 is inside, and both ends in the width direction of the main wire covering portion 21 are opposed to each other. Then, by adhering with the adhesive part 30, the outer periphery of the trunk line 11A is covered with the trunk line covering part 21 to the root of the branch point P1.
At the same time, the branch covering portion 22 of the sheet 20 is folded in half with the second slit 24 as a fulcrum, and the fourth divided piece 29 is turned to the first divided piece 26 side with respect to the other branch line 12B. The piece 26 and the fourth divided piece 29 are opposed to each other and fixed by the adhesive portion 30. The other branch line 12B is passed through the fourth slit 31 formed by the continuous integration of the first slit 23 and the third slit 25, and the branch line 12B is then passed to the back end 25a side of the third slit 25. . At this time, the end portions 27a and 28a of the second divided piece 27 and the third divided piece 28 are projected in the axial direction of the trunk line 11B on the opposite side beyond the branch point P1.

Finally, as shown in FIG. 2 (C), the first divided piece 26 and the fourth divided piece 29 fixed and integrated with each other by the adhesive portion 30 are brought down along the outer periphery of the opposite trunk line 11B, and the second divided piece is obtained. Together with the protruding portion 27 a of the piece 27 and the protruding portion 28 a of the third divided piece 28, the tape is integrally fixed to the outer periphery of the opposite trunk line 11 B with an adhesive tape 35.

As described above, according to the branch structure using the sheet 20, the cross-shaped branch point P1 can be covered with the second divided piece 27 and the third divided piece 28, so that the outside without exposing the branch point P1. It can be effectively protected from interference and the like.

Moreover, since it is the structure which covers to the branch location P1 with the front-end | tip part of the sheet | seat 20 which coat | covers the trunk line 11A, the trunk line 11A and the branch location P1 can be armored with the sheet | seat 20 of 1 sheet. Therefore, it is not necessary to prepare an exterior material separate from the exterior material to be attached to the main line for the branch portion, so that the number of parts can be reduced, and the labor of parts management can be reduced, and the cost can be reduced.

Further, the distance L1 between the width direction one end 20b of the sheet 20 and the first slit 23 and the distance L2 between the width direction other end 20c of the sheet 20 and the third slit 25 are all the same as the width W1 of the adhesive portion 30. Therefore, when the first divided piece 26 and the fourth divided piece 29 are fixed by the adhesive portion 30, the branch covering portion 22 is closed on the first and third slit sides, and there is no slit through which the branch line 12B is passed. In addition, it is possible to prevent the fourth slit 31 formed by continuously integrating the first slit 23 and the third slit 25 from opening too much and the branch point P1 from being easily exposed to the outside.

3A and 3B show a branch structure of a wire harness according to the second embodiment of the present invention.
The seat 20 is attached to a T-shaped branch point P2 where the branch line 12 is branched in one direction from an intermediate position of the trunk line 11. Since the shape and configuration of the sheet 20 are the same as those in the first embodiment, the same reference numerals are given and description thereof is omitted.

When attaching the sheet 20 to the T-shaped branch point P2, as shown in FIG. 3 (A), the main wire covering portion 21 is wound around the outer periphery of one main wire 11A, and both end portions in the width direction are opposed to each other so as to face each other. The branch covering portion 22 is folded in half with the second slit 24 as a fulcrum, the first divided piece 26 and the fourth divided piece 29 are opposed to each other and fixed with the adhesive portion 30, and the branch line 12 is fixed to the third slit 25. Through the back end 25a side. Next, when the protruding portion 27a of the second divided piece 27 and the protruding portion 28a of the third divided piece 28 are wound and fixed to the outer periphery of the opposite trunk line 11B with the adhesive tape 35, as shown in FIG. The second slit 24 is closed over the entire length by winding the adhesive tape 35 over the branch point P2 to the base of the trunk line 11A.

As described above, the sheet 20 can correspond to the cross-shaped branch point P1 as in the first embodiment and the T-shaped branch point P2 as in the present embodiment with one type of sheet 20. The sheet 20 can cover the cross-shaped branch point P1 and the T-shaped branch point P2 without exposing them. Therefore, according to the branching structure, it is not necessary to prepare different types of sheets depending on the shape of the branching portion, so that the number of component types can be reduced and the cost can be reduced.
