前記作像装置の上方に空間を介して配置され且つ原稿画像を読み取り可能な画像読取装置と、
前記作像装置と前記画像読取装置との間に設けられ且つ当該作像装置にて画像形成された記録材を排出収容する記録材排出受けとを備え、
前記作像装置は、前記記録材排出受けに排出収容される記録材の搬送方向に直交する幅寸法より大きい幅寸法の装置筐体を有し、
この装置筐体は、
その上面の操作者操作側が上方に突出し且つ前記記録材排出受けを区画すると共に前記記録材排出受けに排出された記録材の排出方向上流端位置を規制する突出部と、
この突出部の前記記録材排出受けに向かう部位に開口され且つ記録材を前記記録材排出受けに排出可能な記録材排出口と、
