無線通信システムにおける移動局での方法。 - 前記アクティブ・トラフィック・モードと前記アイドル・トラフィック・モードとの間を移行する決定が、所定量の時間にわたるアップリンクおよびダウンリンク上のトラフィックのレベルに基づいて判断される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記専用物理制御チャネルが、ユニバーサル移動体通信システムUMTSにおけるDPCCHである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- アクティブ・モードとアイドル・モードとの間を移行することを自律的に決定するステップと、
前記移行することの決定を示すメッセージをアップリンク専用物理データ・チャネル上のレイヤ2シグナリングを使用して送信するステップと
を含む、無線通信システムにおける移動局での方法。 - 前記メッセージを含む前記MAC PDUが伝送される電力を増大させるステップをさらに含む、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 複数のMAC−e SI PDUが、前記メッセージを搬送するのに使用される、請求項4に記載の方法。
