Description
The present invention relates to a connection port of a liquid tank, a liquid tank, and a droplet discharge device that are provided on a side wall facing an upper space of the liquid tank and connect a connection pipe.
The liquid level detection pipe line is piped to communicate the upper space of the tank body and the liquid stored in the tank body, and both ends thereof are connected to upper and lower communication openings formed on the side wall of the tank body. Similarly, the control air pipe is connected to a communication opening formed on a side wall facing the upper space.
However, in such a tank, the upper space of the tank body is maintained in the atmosphere of the liquid saturated gas stored, so that this saturated gas condenses due to pressure fluctuations, temperature changes, etc. on the inner surface of the upper space of the tank body. It may adhere as a droplet (water droplet). Depending on the weight of the attached droplets, the droplets travel along the side wall to reach each communication opening, and flow into the control air pipe and the liquid level detection pipe (liquid column pipe) from here. Then, there are a problem that the liquid level sensor causes a false detection due to the inflowing droplets, and a problem that the negative pressure control is automatically stopped due to a false detection of a reverse flow.
Accordingly, the present invention provides a connection port of a liquid tank, a liquid tank, and a droplet discharge device that can prevent the droplets adhering to the inner surface of the side wall from flowing into the connection pipe connected to the upper space of the tank body. The task is to do.
The connection port of the liquid tank of the present invention is a connection port of the liquid tank provided on the side wall facing the upper space of the tank body in order to connect the connection pipe, and extends from the inner surface of the side wall to the outside of the tank body. And a recessed portion that is recessed and formed to project from the inner wall surface of the recessed portion toward the inside of the tank body, and a projecting portion that forms a port channel that connects the connecting pipe and the upper space at the axial center portion. It is characterized by that.
According to this configuration, even if a part of the condensed droplets adhering to the side wall of the upper space of the tank body may reach the upper edge of the recess through the side wall by its own weight, the droplet does not reach the edge of the recess. Will flow down along. In addition, even if a droplet that flows down due to a droplet generated in the recess reaches the protrusion through the inner surface of the recess, the droplet flows down along the peripheral surface of the protrusion. become. For this reason, the liquid droplet flowing down along the side wall does not reach the tank side opening of the port channel formed in the protruding portion. Therefore, the liquid droplets do not flow directly into the connecting pipe via the port channel, and the liquid droplets can be effectively prevented from flowing into the connecting pipe.
Further, in addition to the above configuration, it is preferable that the concave portion is formed in a cylindrical shape and the protruding portion is formed to protrude in a mountain shape concentric with the concave portion.
According to this configuration, the condensed liquid droplets that have reached the upper edge of the recess can be quickly flowed down along the edge of the recess without dropping from the upper edge of the recess. In addition, the liquid droplets that have reached the protrusion can also flow down quickly along the peripheral surface of the protrusion.
Moreover, it is preferable that the protrusion is formed so as to protrude into the recessed space of the recess.
According to this configuration, even if the droplet that has reached the upper edge of the recess may be dropped as it is, it does not fall on the protruding portion, and the droplet adheres to the opening of the port channel. It can be effectively prevented.
In this case, it is preferable that the tank body is a sealed tank and the connecting pipe is a vent pipe communicating with the atmosphere.
According to this configuration, since the inflow of the liquid droplets in the vent pipe can be prevented, the inflow / outflow of the liquid with respect to the tank body is not affected.
The vent pipe has a loop pipe section that is looped in a ring shape and is located in the vicinity of the tank main body, and a liquid drop detection sensor that detects liquid droplets flowing into the vent pipe is provided below the loop pipe section. It is preferable to be provided.
According to this configuration, even if the liquid droplet flows into the vent pipe, the liquid droplet is stored in the lower portion of the loop pipe portion, so that the inflow of the liquid droplet can be easily detected.
Similarly, the connecting pipe is preferably a liquid column pipe facing a liquid level sensor for detecting the liquid level in the tank body.
According to this configuration, since the liquid droplet that has reached the upper edge of the recess through the side wall of the tank body does not flow from the upper end of the liquid column pipe, erroneous detection of the liquid level sensor due to the flowing liquid liquid is prevented. can do.
The liquid tank of the present invention includes the above-described liquid tank connection port and a tank body.
According to this configuration, it is possible to provide a tank that can prevent the droplets adhering to the inner surface of the side wall from flowing into the connecting pipe connected to the upper space of the tank body.
The liquid droplet ejection apparatus according to the present invention includes a drawing means for performing drawing by ejecting a functional liquid droplet from a functional liquid droplet ejection head while moving the inkjet functional liquid droplet ejection head relative to the work, and an outflow The liquid tank according to any one of the above, which is connected to the functional liquid droplet ejection head via a port and supplies the functional liquid to the functional liquid droplet ejection head.
According to this configuration, it is possible to eliminate the influence of the liquid droplets generated in the upper space of the liquid tank, so that it is possible to stably supply the functional liquid to the functional liquid droplet ejection head. Drawing can be performed stably and satisfactorily.
Hereinafter, a liquid droplet ejection apparatus having a liquid tank provided with a connection port according to the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the

As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the X-axis table 2 has a set table 22 having a mechanism capable of sucking and setting the workpiece W and correcting in the θ-axis direction, and the set table 22 slidably supported in the X-axis direction An X-axis
The Y-axis table 3 includes 13
Each carriage unit 4 has six colors of R, G, B, C, M, and Y, each of two (total 12) functional
Next, the functional
Each functional
The upstream functional
Here, with reference to FIG. 5 and FIG. 6, the structure around the sub tank (liquid tank) 62 and the
The sub tank
The
Further, a tube opening / closing
The liquid
The liquid level sensor 74c detects a liquid level (reference liquid level) in consideration of an ideal water head value of the functional liquid
Here, the
As shown in FIG. 6 (b), the
The port
The
Next, the liquid column
The
Next, functions of the
