1(K.Treitelbaum,“A flexible processor for a digital adaptive array radar”,IEEE AES Systems Magazine,pp.18−22,May
A=USVH (29)
S=diag[σ1,σ2,…,σM] (30)

U(F)はu(k)のフーリエ変換である。
D0(F)=A0(F)M0(F)U(F) (42)
Dn(F)=An(F)Mn(F)U(F) (43)
【0061】
しかし、それはA0(F)=An(F)が前提である。ここでは、A0(F)≠An(F)であり、このままではD0(F)とDn(F)を使えない。
【0063】
式(26)のC0(F)/Cn(F)は、A0(F)=An(F)のときのM0(F)/Mn(F)に等しい。

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an interference wave suppressing device that suppresses interference waves.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As is well known in the art, it is possible to suppress unintentionally received interference waves by signal processing using an adaptive array antenna. In an adaptive array antenna, an adaptive load coefficient connected to each antenna element is appropriately controlled, and an interference signal is suppressed by adding a signal weighted by the adaptive load. However, if there is a mismatch (hereinafter referred to as mismatch) of frequency characteristics (amplitude characteristics, phase characteristics, group delay characteristics) between each channel (input of adaptive load coefficient corresponding to each antenna element), it is particularly wideband interference. Wave suppression performance may be degraded.
[0003]
The mismatch of frequency characteristics between channels is mainly caused by characteristic variations of analog filters or the like in the receiver. For example, the ripple of the amplitude characteristic and the phase characteristic of the analog filter varies depending on the filter within a generally allowable range. Here, “broadband” means a bandwidth close to the sampling frequency in the interference wave suppression signal processing by weighting of the adaptive load.
[0004]
Weighting as shown in Prior Art Document 1 (K. Treitelbaum, “A flexible processor for a digital adaptive array radar”, IEEE AES Systems Magazine, pp. 18-22, May 1991). A digital filter can be connected to compensate for frequency characteristic mismatch between channels.

If the coefficients of the tapped delay line circuit 15-n are adaptively controlled with the configurations shown in FIGS. 8 and 9, interference waves can be suppressed without considering the mismatch of frequency characteristics between channels. The number of loads to be adaptively controlled becomes very large. The frequency characteristic mismatch between channels does not change so frequently in time compared to changes in the radio wave environment such as the number of interference waves, the incident direction, and the power. Nevertheless, controlling a large amount of load each time the radio wave environment changes is a heavy burden in terms of the amount of signal processing computation. When a feedback type algorithm such as an LMS algorithm is used as the adaptive algorithm, the tapped delay line circuit 15-n generally tends to converge slowly.
[0018]
The present invention has been made in order to solve the above-described problems. An interference wave suppressing device capable of compensating for mismatch in frequency characteristics between channels even when there is a difference in the length of each signal cable. The purpose is to obtain. It is another object of the present invention to provide an interference wave suppressing device that can obtain good interference wave suppression even if there is a discontinuous frequency characteristic mismatch near ± 0.5 fs.

In the interference wave suppressing device according to the present invention, the coefficient setting means includes a delay time of a signal from a plurality of antenna elements to each signal input point and a delay time of a signal from the signal generator to each signal input point. It is intended.
[0021]
The interference wave suppressing apparatus according to the present invention is characterized in that eigenvalue decomposition or singular value decomposition is performed so that a weighted absolute mean square value of a difference between the spectrum of the output signal of the delay means and the spectrum of the output signal of the compensation means is minimized. Is used to set the coefficient of the digital filter constituting the compensation means.

In the interference wave suppressing apparatus according to the present invention, the compensation bandwidth of the compensation means is set to be narrower than the sampling frequency of the load adding means, and the coefficient of the digital filter constituting the compensation means is set by this compensation bandwidth. As apparent from the above, according to the first embodiment, it is not necessary to adaptively control the coefficient of the tapped delay line circuit 15-n every time the radio wave environment changes as in the prior art. Independent of the suppression process, it is possible to compensate for mismatch in frequency characteristics between channels using interference waves. [0039]
The method described above can be said to be a calculation in the time domain in which the difference signal power is minimized. Similar to the prior art (compensation filter coefficient setting means 23), the compensation filter E in the frequency domain is designed to minimize the error in the frequency domain, that is, the error in the complex spectrum.nThe coefficient of (z) can also be calculated. [0040]
Compensation filter EnThe compensation bandwidth according to (z) is used as the sampling frequency (fsExplain why you have to make it narrower.
The frequency characteristic mismatch between the channels is mainly caused by variation in the frequency characteristic of the analog filter. In the IF band, the IF frequency is fIF-0.5fs+ FIFTo 0.5fs+ FIFThe frequency band characteristic mismatch is a problem. The frequency characteristic of an IF band analog filter generally has a frequency of −0.5 f.s+ FIFAnd frequency 0.5fs+ FIFThe frequency characteristic at is discontinuous. This is because, in the baseband, the characteristics to be approximated by the compensation filter are two frequencies −0.5f.sAnd 0.5fsMeans discontinuous. However, the sampling frequency fsThis digital filter has continuous frequency characteristics at these two frequencies. Accordingly, the entire band (−0.5 f) in the

The minimization problem of equation (26) can be reduced to the least square problem of equation (27). Vector e that minimizes equation (27)nIs generally a multidimensional system of simultaneous equations AHAen= AHbnIn practice, the matrix AHIn many cases, the rank of A is effectively smaller than M. That is, the singular values of the matrix A often appear large and negligible small ones. Then, the simultaneous equations cannot be solved well due to numerical instability. At this time, it is assumed that the compensation filter EnEven if the coefficient of (z) is obtained, its absolute value may become a very large value, which makes it practically impossible to implement. In such a case, using the singular value decomposition, the least square problem can be solved well, and the compensation filter EnIt is possible to prevent the coefficient absolute value of (z) from becoming a very large value.
[0043]
The matrix A is subjected to singular value decomposition as shown in Expression (29).
A = USVH (29)
S = diag [σ1, Σ2, ..., σM] (30)
Here, U is an I × M matrix whose columns are orthonormal, S is an M × M diagonal matrix, and V is an M × M orthogonal matrix. Diagonal element σ of Sm(M = 1, 2,..., M) is a singular value, and the number of non-zero singular values is the rank of A. There is actually no noise, so there is no singular value of 0. However, there can be considerable differences in the magnitude of the singular values. Therefore, only the contribution of singular values excluding small negligible values is considered.

As is apparent from the above, in the second embodiment, the signal is not input to a specific location with a cable as a configuration for transmitting radio waves from the outside in order to compensate for mismatch in frequency characteristics between channels. There is an advantage that it is not necessary to consider the difference in signal delay to the input point.
The compensation filter EnWhen the coefficient (z) is performed in the frequency domain, the coefficient calculation can be performed without causing numerical instability if a singular value decomposition method or an eigenvalue decomposition method is used for the calculation. 【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, the coefficient setting means allows the signal delay time from the main antenna to the first signal input point and the signal delay from the plurality of auxiliary antennas to each second signal input point. The digital constituting the compensation means in consideration of the time, the delay time of the signal from the signal generator to the first signal input point, and the delay time of the signal from the signal generator to each second signal input point Set filter coefficientsThe difference between the length of the first signal cable from the signal generator to the first signal input point and the length of the second signal cable from the signal generator to the second signal input point is actually measured. If not, the Fourier transform result of the in-phase / quadrature signal output from the first and second conversion means is acquired, and the connection destination of the first signal cable is connected to the second signal from the first signal input point. After switching to the input point and switching the signal cable so that the connection destination of the second signal cable is switched from the second signal input point to the first signal input point, the first and second conversions are performed. The Fourier transform result of the in-phase / quadrature signal output from the means is acquired, and the coefficient of the digital filter that constitutes the compensation means is set using the Fourier transform result of the in-phase / quadrature signal before and after the signal cable switching. Therefore, there is a difference in the length of the signal cable from the main antenna and the plurality of auxiliary antennas to each signal input point and the length of the signal cable from the signal generator to each signal input point.Even if the length of the signal cable from the signal generator to each signal input point cannot be measured,There is an effect that it is possible to compensate for mismatch in frequency characteristics between channels.
[0072]
According to this invention, the coefficient setting means takes into account the delay time of the signal from the plurality of antenna elements to each signal input point and the delay time of the signal from the signal generator to each signal input point, Set the coefficients of the digital filter that composes the compensation meansThe difference between the length of the first signal cable from the signal generator to the first signal input point and the length of the second signal cable from the signal generator to the second signal input point is actually measured. The Fourier transform result of the in-phase / quadrature signal output from the means is acquired, and the coefficient of the digital filter that constitutes the compensation means is set using the Fourier transform result of the in-phase / quadrature signal before and after the signal cable switching.Because it was configured asMultiple antenna elementsThere is a difference in signal cable length from the signal generator to each signal input point and signal cable length from the signal generator to each signal input point.Even if the length of the signal cable from the signal generator to each signal input point cannot be measured,There is an effect that it is possible to compensate for mismatch in frequency characteristics between channels.
[0073]
According to the present invention, eigenvalue decomposition or singular value decomposition is used so that the weighted absolute mean square value of the difference between the spectrum of the output signal of the delay means and the spectrum of the output signal of the compensation means is minimized. Since the coefficient of the digital filter constituting the compensation means is set, the coefficient of the digital filter can be set without causing numerical instability, and the absolute value of the coefficient becomes a very large value. There is an effect that can be prevented.
[0074]
According to the present invention, the compensation bandwidth of the compensation means is set to be narrower than the sampling frequency of the load adding means, and the coefficient of the digital filter constituting the compensation means is set with this compensation bandwidth. So ± 0.5fsEven if there is a discontinuous frequency characteristic mismatch in the vicinity, there is an effect that good interference wave suppression can be obtained.
