Description
The present invention relates to a long object connector, for example, a long object connector that connects the free ends of two cables.
In the wire connection sleeve described in Patent Document 1, a cylindrical spacer is inserted into the insertion hole of the sleeve main body, and one end of the conductor exposed portion of the electric wire is covered with the insertion hole via the spacer. It is inserted. One end of this electric wire is compressed and connected by the direct contact of the tips of a plurality of bolts arranged along the length of the sleeve body or indirectly through a spacer. It is the composition which is done.
As a modification of this sleeve, an inner cylinder and an outer cylinder are screwed into both ends of a cylindrical connecting conductor, and a conical chuck is held in the through holes of these inner and outer cylinders. A connecting sleeve in which a cut end of an electric wire is inserted into a shaft hole (electric wire insertion hole) of a chuck is disclosed. And it is set as the structure by which the inserted electric wire is compressed by screwing together this inner cylinder body and an outer cylinder body.
However, in the former case, in order to firmly connect the electric wires, it is necessary to screw a plurality of bolts into the sleeve body, and there is a problem that it takes a lot of labor and time. Also, in the latter case, it can be imagined that the conical chuck is limited to a fairly soft material because the conical chuck is plastically deformed to reduce the diameter of the wire insertion hole and compress the cut end of the electric wire. Has the problem that it cannot be reused.
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a long object connector that can be firmly connected to a main body member at the same time as a long object is firmly sandwiched between chucks by a single operation.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a reusable long object connector.
The invention according to claim 1 is a long object connecting tool for connecting cut ends of two long objects, and the cut end of the other long object of the two long objects is A main body member having a predetermined length connected to one end in the length direction, and connected to the other end in the length direction of the main body member, and one of the two long objects An insertion path into which the cutting end is inserted is formed, the chuck is configured such that the width of the insertion path can be expanded and contracted, and the width of the insertion path is reduced based on the screwing action, and the one long object is reduced by the chuck. A nut member firmly sandwiching the cut end of the chuck, and the chuck is formed in a tapered shape along the extending direction of the insertion path, thereby having a tapered outer surface. 1 nut member and a second nut member, and the first nut member is Formed by a cylindrical body having an outer peripheral flange at one end thereof, the shaft hole continuously reduces in diameter from one end to the other end along the length direction, and the chuck is inserted into the shaft hole. In addition, the inner peripheral surface of the shaft hole is slidably engaged with the tapered outer surface of the chuck, and the second nut member is a cylindrical body having a flange protruding radially inward at the other end. The female screw formed on the inner peripheral surface of the shaft hole is screwed to the outer peripheral screw formed on the outer surface of the other end portion in the longitudinal direction of the main body member, and the first nut opening is connected to the first nut. 1 is a long object connector in which a nut member is inserted and a flange of a second nut member abuts against an outer peripheral flange of the first nut member.
According to the first aspect of the present invention, the other long object is connected to one end of the main body member, the chuck is connected to the other end of the main body member by the nut member, and one long length is connected by the chuck. The cut end of the object will be firmly sandwiched.
That is, the nut member is divided into a first nut member and a second nut member. Therefore, the first nut member is inserted from one end opening of the second nut member, and the flange of the second nut member is brought into contact with the outer peripheral flange of the first nut member. The first nut member is chuck-inserted into the shaft hole, and the inner peripheral surface of the shaft hole is slidably engaged with the tapered outer surface of the chuck. Then, the second nut member engages the female screw formed on the inner peripheral surface of the shaft hole with the outer peripheral screw formed on the outer surface of the other end portion in the longitudinal direction of the main body member.
As a result, the second nut member reduces the width of the insertion path of the chuck via the first nut member, firmly holds the cut end of one long object in the chuck, and connects the chuck to the main body member. It will be. Therefore, the connection ends of the two long objects are connected to each other.
A long object in this case is a cable such as an electric wire or an optical fiber having a certain length, a wire, a rope, or the like.
Expandable / reducible means not expanding or reducing the width of the insertion path by plastic deformation of the chuck, but, for example, by forming a plurality of slits in the longitudinal direction in the chuck, or By dividing vertically into a plurality of pieces, a gap (insertion path) is formed between the chuck divided pieces. By expanding or reducing the gap, the width of the insertion path is expanded or reduced.
According to a second aspect of the present invention, the chuck is formed of a plurality of divided pieces by dividing the cylindrical body by a plane including the axis thereof, and the divided pieces are combined to form a cylindrical shape as a whole. When the body is formed, it is formed in a tapered shape, a convex portion is formed on one of the adjacent divided pieces, and a concave portion is formed on the other side. By fitting these convex portions and the concave portion, the length of the chuck is increased. The long object connector according to claim 1, wherein displacement in the vertical direction is prevented.
According to the second aspect of the present invention, since the chuck is formed of a cylindrical body composed of a plurality of divided pieces, the degree of freedom of expansion / contraction is increased in the insertion path of the chuck. For this reason, even long objects with different diameters can be easily and firmly sandwiched by the chuck.
Further, it is possible to prevent the divided pieces from shifting in the length direction, and to perform chucking easily and reliably.
When connecting two long objects, the long object connector according to the present invention connects the cut ends of the long objects by firmly holding the cable between the chucks only by one operation, It can be formed into one long object. Further, by using the main body member, the chuck can be coupled to the main body member simultaneously with the connection between the chuck and the long object by the screwing action of the nut member. Therefore, two cables (long objects) can be reliably connected in a short time and easily.
Examples and reference examples of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. The present invention is not limited to these examples.

Moreover, as shown in FIG. 2, the convex part is formed in the arbitrary locations along the dividing line in the length direction of one division piece 11Aa of this chuck |

As shown in FIG. 9, the
Hereinafter, a description will be given with reference to FIG. Note that the description of the
The
The
The second nut member 52Aa is screwed to an outer peripheral screw formed on one end surface of the fixing
On the inner peripheral surface of the shaft hole of the second nut member 52Aa, an inner peripheral screw is formed over a predetermined length range from one end. This inner peripheral screw is screwed to an outer screw formed on the outer peripheral surface of one end portion of the fixing
