操作内容等を表示するための液晶表示部と種々の操作を行うためのキー類とを操作パネル上面に臨ませて備える機器の操作部であって、
前記操作パネル上面を覆う透明なカバーパネルを備え、
該カバーパネルが、前記キー類の少なくとも頂面を上面に臨ませるための開口を有し、
前記キー類の少なくとも一部のものの頂面を凹ませ、前記カバーパネルは、前記開口の近傍部位が外上方へ拡開し、前記キー類の凹んだ頂面と連なる形状をなす
ことを特徴とする機器の操作部。
