Description

The present invention relates to a ventilator that is installed on the ceiling of a building, sucks indoor air, and exhausts the air through a duct.

Conventionally, in a ventilator installed on the ceiling of a building or the like, a terminal block for connecting an external power source input to the blower is provided at a corner portion outside the air passage of the fan casing inside the main body housing. There has been proposed a ventilator that covers a terminal block, forms a protective frame whose outer periphery is in close contact with the inner surface of the main body housing and is open at the top, and is provided with an openable / closable terminal block cover that seals the lower part of the protective frame in a watertight state. . According to the ventilator having such a configuration, the electrical component can be protected from a high humidity atmosphere, and the durability and reliability of the electrical component can be ensured (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

However, in the ventilator configured as described above, the resin fan casing and the protective frame may be damaged if the terminal block is overheated due to a short circuit of the electric circuit or the like. Therefore, a proposal has been made to improve safety by providing a terminal block on the top surface of the main body outside the main body casing and covering the terminal block with a metal cover.

The attachment of the metal cover to the housing is generally performed by screw fastening. And, in the operation of connecting the external power supply wire to the terminal block, the screw is removed and the cover is removed, but this operation must be performed in an unfavorable environment such as the ceiling. For this reason, conventionally, there have been problems such as dropping the cover and forgetting to attach the cover, and problems such as loss of the cover and screws.

The present invention has been made in view of the above, and an object of the present invention is to obtain a ventilator that prevents the cover from falling or forgetting to attach the cover and that does not lose the cover or the screw.

In order to solve the above-described problems and achieve the object, a ventilator according to the present invention is provided in a main body housing having an air inlet formed in a lower portion and an air outlet formed in a side portion, and an inner portion of the main body housing. A fan casing that forms an air passage from the air inlet to the air outlet, a fan provided in the air passage, and a motor that drives the fan, a blower that exhausts air sucked from the air inlet through the air outlet, and an external electric wire The terminal block that is fixed to the fixed surface formed on the outer surface of the main body housing with the connection part connected in a different direction from the exhaust port, the terminal block that is electrically connected to the motor, and the remaining part of the connection part A terminal block cover that covers the entire terminal block, and a terminal block cap that is pivotally supported by the terminal block cover and that is pivotable between an open position that opens the connecting portion and a closed position that closes the connecting portion. It is characterized by having.

According to this invention, by having the terminal block cap pivotally supported by the terminal block cover, it is possible to generate a state in which the connection portion is opened and a state in which the connection portion is closed. Since the base cap is pivotally supported by the terminal block cover and is not removed, it is possible to prevent the terminal block cap from falling or forgetting to attach the terminal block cap. The terminal block cap is not lost.

Embodiments of a ventilator according to the present invention will be described below in detail with reference to the drawings. Note that the present invention is not limited to the embodiments.

Embodiment FIG. 1 is a longitudinal sectional view showing a state in which a ventilator according to an embodiment of the present invention is attached to a ceiling. In FIG. 1, a ventilator 10 includes a resin box-shaped main body housing 11 having an air inlet 11 a formed at a lower portion and an air outlet 11 b formed at a side portion, and an air inlet provided inside the main body housing 11. Similarly, it has a resin-made fan casing 14 that forms an air passage from 11 a to the exhaust port 11 b, and a blower 20 that is housed in the fan casing 14. The ventilator 10 is attached to a rectangular hole formed in the ceiling 31, for example, with the air inlet 11a facing the indoor side. At this time, the main part of the ventilation device 10 protrudes from the back surface of the ceiling 31.

In order to improve the design, a decorative panel 33 is mounted along the ceiling 31 around the air inlet 11a on the indoor side. On the other hand, a duct connection cylinder 15 is provided at the intake port 11a, and a duct 32 extending outside the room is coupled to the duct connection cylinder 15. The motor 13 of the blower 20 is disposed in the vertical direction along the axis of the ventilator 10, and is disposed so that the rear end portion on the opposite side to the fan 12 protrudes from the upper surface of the main body casing 11.

FIG. 2 is a perspective view showing a state where the terminal block cap of the ventilator of the present embodiment is closed (closed position), and FIG. 3 is a state where the terminal block cap of the ventilator of the present embodiment is opened ( FIG. 4 is a view of a state in which the terminal block cap of the ventilator of the present embodiment is closed as viewed from above. In FIG. 4, the external power supply wire 34 is omitted. 2 to 4, a rectangular flat terminal plate 22 is fixed to the upper surface of the main body casing 11 adjacent to the rear end portion of the motor 13 of the blower 20 (FIG. 1). A terminal block 21 is disposed on the terminal board 22. That is, the upper surface of the terminal plate 22 is a fixing surface for fixing the terminal block 21. A set screw 25 is further provided on the upper surface of the terminal plate 22 as an engaged portion for holding the terminal block cap 24 in the (second) closed position. As will be described later, the set screw 25 engages with an engagement hole 24d provided in the terminal block cap 24 when the terminal block cap 24 slides.

The terminal block 21 has a terminal block power supply wire connecting portion (connecting portion) 21a on one end face. The terminal block 21 is arranged on the upper surface of the terminal plate 22 with the terminal block power supply wire connection portion 21 a facing in the direction opposite to the duct connection cylinder 15. The terminal block 21 is electrically connected to the motor 13 and relays an external power supply wire (external wire) 34 that supplies power to the motor 13 at the terminal block power supply wire connection portion 21a. That is, the external power supply wire 34 is connected to the terminal block power supply wire connection portion 21a. Note that the fixing surface on which the terminal block 21 and the set screw 25 are disposed is essentially the same even if it is directly provided on the upper surface of the main body casing 11.

The upper part of the terminal block 21 is covered with a metal terminal block cover 23 having a substantially rectangular parallelepiped box shape with one surface open. The terminal plate 22 has a claw 22a formed on the side. The terminal plate 22 supports the terminal block cover 23 by fitting the claws 22 a into the square holes 23 a drilled in the terminal block cover 23. That is, the terminal block 21 is accommodated in a space surrounded by the terminal plate 22 and the terminal block cover 23.

On one side of the terminal block cover 23, a terminal block opening 23b for exposing the terminal block power supply wire connecting portion 21a is opened. The terminal block cover 23 is provided with a metal terminal block cap 24 so as to cover the exposed terminal block power supply wire connection portion 21a. The terminal block cap 24 is pivotally supported by the terminal block cover 23, and has an open position (FIG. 3) for opening the terminal block power supply wire connection portion 21a and a closed position (FIG. 2) for closing the terminal block power supply wire connection portion 21a. It is provided so that it can rotate between them.

FIG. 5 is a perspective view of the terminal block cover 23. The terminal block cover 23 has a substantially rectangular parallelepiped box shape with one surface open, and a terminal block opening 23b for exposing the terminal block power supply wire connecting portion 21a is opened on one side surface of the short side. On the other hand, a rectangular hole 23a for fitting the claw 22a of the terminal plate 22 and a long hole 23c for pivotally supporting the terminal block cap 24 are provided on the two opposite side surfaces on the long side. The long hole 23c extends in parallel along a fixed surface formed by the upper surface of the terminal plate 22.

FIG. 6 is a perspective view of the terminal block cap 24. The terminal block cap 24 has a substantially rectangular parallelepiped box shape with two open surfaces, and a semicircular cutout 24 e for drawing out the external power supply wire 34 is provided on one side surface. Then, the two side surfaces sandwiching the side surface provided with the notch 24e are bent at right angles to the side surface extension portion 24b extending as a portion extending the side surface on the opposite side of the notch 24e, and the front end portion of the side surface extension portion 24b. And a rotation fulcrum portion 24a formed. The terminal block cap 24 is inserted between the rotation fulcrum portion 24a into the elongated hole 23c of the terminal block cover 23, and between the first closed position on the front side and the second closed position on the rear side (terminal block 21 side). Can be slid in the push-in direction and in the pull-out direction.

An overhang portion 24f extending in parallel to the fixed surface is provided on the outer side of one of the two side surfaces sandwiching the side surface provided with the notch 24e of the terminal block cap 24. The overhanging portion 24f is provided with a handle 24c that is used when the terminal block cap 24 is slid forward and pulled out. Furthermore, the overhanging portion 24f is provided with an engaging hole 24d as an engaging portion that engages with the set screw 25 when the terminal block cap 24 slides in the pushing direction. The engagement hole 24 d is formed as a hole larger than the head of the set screw 25 at a position corresponding to the set screw 25.

In the ventilator having such a configuration, when the external power supply wire 34 is connected to the terminal block power supply wire connecting portion 21a, first, the set screw 25 holding the terminal block cap 24 in the (second) closed position. (Set screw 25 is not removed from the screw hole). Then, the handle 24c of the terminal block cap 24 is held, and the terminal block cap 24 is moved to the (first) closed position in the direction opposite to the terminal block 21 (withdrawal direction). As a result, the rotation fulcrum portion 24 a slides within the elongated hole 23 c of the terminal block cover 23, and the engagement hole 24 d is detached from the set screw 25. Then, the terminal block cap 24 can be rotated with the rotation fulcrum portion 24a as the center of rotation.

Next, the terminal block cap 24 is rotated from the (first) closed position to an open position where the terminal block cap 24 abuts against the top surface portion 23 d of the terminal block cover 23. Thereby, the terminal block opening 23b of the terminal block cover 23 and the terminal block power supply wire connecting portion 21a are exposed. And the connection construction of the external power supply wire 34 to the terminal block power supply wire connection part 21a becomes possible. At that time, the terminal block cap 24 does not fall off from the terminal block cover 23 because the rotation fulcrum portions 24a are inserted into the long holes 23c of the terminal block cover 23 at two locations on both sides. Further, since the terminal block cap 24 abuts against the top surface portion 23d of the terminal block cover 23 in the open position and is stably held, workability is improved. Furthermore, since the set screw 25 is not removed from the screw hole, the set screw 25 is not lost.

The external power supply wire 34 is inserted and connected to a hole provided in the terminal block power supply wire connection portion 21a. Thereafter, the reverse process is performed, and the terminal block cap 24 is fastened to the closed position by the set screw 25 to complete the construction. When the terminal block cap 24 is moved to the closed position, the side surface extension 24b of the terminal block cap 24 closes the long hole 23c of the terminal block cover 23, thereby improving the sealing performance of the terminal block 21. Furthermore, by making the terminal block cover 23 and the terminal block cap 24 of metal, it is possible to prevent the entry of dust and water into the terminal block 21, and even if the terminal block 21 becomes abnormally hot. Safety is maintained.

In the present embodiment, the terminal block 21 is arranged with the terminal block power supply wire connection portion 21a facing away from the duct connection tube 15, so that it does not interfere with the duct connection tube 15 and the duct 32. The external power supply wire 34 can be connected to the terminal block power supply wire connection portion 21a, and workability is improved. The direction of the terminal block power supply wire connecting portion 21a does not necessarily have to be the direction opposite to the duct connecting cylinder 15, and a predetermined effect can be obtained if the direction is different from the direction in which the duct connecting cylinder 15 exists.

Further, in the present embodiment, a set screw 25 is provided as an engaged portion that holds the terminal block cap 24 in the closed position, and an engaging portion that engages with the set screw 25 when the terminal block cap 24 slides. As shown, the engagement hole 24d is provided, but the engagement portion and the engaged portion are not limited to the engagement hole 24d and the set screw 25, but have an engagement structure that engages by sliding. I just need it.

As described above, the ventilator according to the present invention is suitable for a ventilator that is installed on a ceiling or the like of a building, sucks indoor air, and exhausts the air outside through a duct.
