Description

In the outboard propulsion device mounted on a boat, the outboard propulsion device can be lifted upward and shifted to smooth sliding when starting to slide from a stopped state.

A boat that slides with an outboard propulsion device (outboard motor or inboard / outboard motor) is not slid or at the start of the skate, and the stern descends and sinks into the water. This state is an oblique state in which the stern is lowered and then inclined downward, and at the start of sliding, it starts to slide in this inclined state.
At the start of gliding, resistance is high and it is difficult to obtain sufficient ship speed. In order to obtain a certain level of boat speed, the stern must be lifted to some extent and the hull posture needs to be almost horizontal. It takes a long time to approach this posture, and smooth acceleration is difficult to obtain.

Therefore, conventionally, a lift device has been proposed that lifts the stern and the outboard propulsion device at the start of sliding (see, for example, Patent Document 1, Patent Document 2, and Patent Document 3).
JP 57-60995 A US Pat. No. 4,756,265 specification US Pat. No. 5,645,009

The invention disclosed in Patent Document 1 has a configuration in which a cavitation plate and a splash plate are provided above a propeller of a lower casing of an outboard propulsion device, and an acceleration plate is attached above this.
The acceleration plate protrudes to the left and right of the lower casing, has a small amount of protrusion at the front portion, a large amount of protrusion at the rear portion, and is constituted by two flat plate bodies on the left and right sides.
The invention disclosed in Patent Document 2 is configured to include hydrofoil wings that extend rearward from the rear portion of the propeller and extend to the left and right of the propeller.
In the invention disclosed in Patent Document 3, a deflector plate is attached to a mounting plate via a hinge, and the angle can be adjusted by a control rod that is expanded and contracted by a hydraulic actuator.

In the invention of Patent Document 1, the acceleration plate made of the left and right plate members has a recess 23 at the center, which reduces the effective area of the acceleration plate to obtain lift, which is disadvantageous in obtaining effective lift. The acceleration play is installed at a position directly above the cavitation plate and close to the top of the propeller, and the lift generation center is relatively at the same position as the propeller (propeller), so that the lift effect is small.

In the invention of Patent Document 2, since the hydrofoil for obtaining lift extends from the rear part to the rear of the propeller and extends to the left and right of the propeller, the lift generation center is relatively a propulsion device as in the invention of Patent Document 1. Since it is in the same position as the (propeller), there are disadvantages that the lift effect is small and the lateral width cannot be increased in consideration of the drag force when the hydrofoil slides.
Further, in the invention of Patent Document 3, since the mounting plate is at the same height as the cavitation plate, the deflector plate needs to be movable in consideration of the drag force during sliding, and the structure of the movable structure of the wing, the drive source, etc. Is complicated.
The present invention has been made to solve the above problems.

The present invention relates to an outboard propulsion device attached to a boat, which is very quickly and smoothly lifted upward by a lift generating plate at the start of sliding, and hulls that slide in an extremely short time.

And has a wing-shaped cross section.

The front edge portion 25 of the plate-like main body 21 is positioned behind the front edge portion 27, and the front edge portion 27 a of the blade end plate 27 is positioned.
Further, the lift generating plate 20 is positioned above the anti-cavitation plate 11 of the outboard propulsion apparatus 1, that is, the plate-like main body 21 and the blade end plate 27 are positioned above the anti-cavitation plate 11.
In the drawing, reference numeral 14 denotes a decorative cover that covers the rubber bush mounting portion that elastically supports the swivel case / swivel case on the outboard propulsion device 1 side.

In the above, the hull to which the outboard propulsion device 1 is attached has a heavy stern when the ship is stopped, and the lower half including the lower unit 4 of the outboard propulsion device 1 is submerged. The provided lift generating plate 20 is also substantially horizontal or slightly inclined downward and submerged. The water surface is indicated by a chain line A in FIG.
The propeller 8 rotates and propels by the operation and driving of the outboard propulsion apparatus 1, but the rear portion further falls and a chain line B state immediately after the start of acceleration of the outboard propulsion apparatus 1.
By continuing the acceleration, the stern including the outboard propulsion device 1 is lifted by the drag of the plate-like main body 21 of the lift generating plate 20.

In the sliding state, the water surface is at the position of the anti-cavitation plate 11 as indicated by the chain line C. At this time, the lift generation plate 20 is positioned above the anti-cavitation plate 11, so that in the sliding state, the water surface is exposed on the water and the drag of water. And can run at high speed.
