Description
Claims (10)
- ネットワークエンドポイント仮想ローカルエリアネットワークアソシエーションをディスカバリする方法であって、
特定のメンテナンスアソシエーションレベルにおいて1つまたは複数の仮想ローカルエリアネットワークエンドポイントを特定する要求を、ソースメンテナンスエンドポイントから、特定のIEEE802.1agタイプのメンテナンスアソシエーションレベルにおいてIEEE802.1agメンテナンスエンドポイントによって受信するステップを有し、要求が、IEEE802.1agタイプのメンテナンスアソシエーションレベルフィールドと仮想ローカルエリアネットワークディスカバリ要求を特定するクエリ型フィールドを含み、さらに、
要求内のメンテナンスアソシエーションレベルフィールドがメンテナンスエンドポイントの特定のメンテナンスレベルを特定するときには、メンテナンスエンドポイントにアソシエートされるポートが要求内で特定された仮想ローカルエリアネットワークのメンバーであるか否かをメンテナンスエンドポイントによって決定するステップと、
メンテナンスエンドポイントにアソシエートされるポートが仮想ローカルエリアネットワークのメンバーであるときには、ポートおよび仮想ローカルエリアネットワークを特定する応答をメンテナンスエンドポイントによってソースメンテナンスエンドポイントに送信するステップとを含む、方法。 - 要求が応答時間を特定し、送信するステップが、応答時間が経過する前に実行される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 送信するステップが、応答時間が経過する前にランダムな時間で実行される、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 要求が、特定のメンテナンスレベルおける複数のIEEE802.1agメンテナンスエンドポイントへのマルチキャストであり、応答がソースへのユニキャストである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 要求が、IEEE802.1ag連続性検査マルチキャストアドレスを宛先アドレスとして含む、請求項1に記載の方法。

マルチキャスト要求内のメンテナンスアソシエーションレベルフィールドがメンテナンスエンドポイントの特定のメンテナンスレベルを特定するときには、メンテナンスエンドポイントにアソシエートされるポートが要求内で特定された論理グループのメンバーであるか否かを決定する手段と、
メンテナンスエンドポイントにアソシエートされるポートが論理グループのメンバーであるときには、ポートおよび論理グループを特定するユニキャスト応答をソースメンテナンスエンドポイントに送信する手段とを含む、IEEE802.1agメンテナンスエンドポイント。 - マルチキャスト要求が応答時間を特定し、送信するステップが、応答時間が経過する前に実行される、請求項7に記載のIEEE802.1agメンテナンスエンドポイント。
- マルチキャスト要求が、IEEE802.1ag連続性検査マルチキャストアドレスを宛先アドレスとして含む、請求項7に記載のIEEE802.1agメンテナンスエンドポイント。
