Description

The present invention relates to a gel-like composition that is excellent in stability over time in a wide temperature range (low temperature to high temperature), and further excellent in detergency and washability after use.

In recent years, cleansing oil preparations are frequently used in the cosmetic market, particularly in the cleansing market such as make-up cleansing because of its high detergency. However, cleansing oil formulations have the drawback of sagging during use due to their low viscosity, which is a characteristic of their own.

On the other hand, gel cleansing products are also found on the market, but most of them are oil-in-water (O / W) formulations gelled with water-soluble thickeners or oil gelled with wax. is there. However, the O / W formulation gelled with a water-soluble thickener has poor detergency because the continuous phase is water, and the oil gelled with wax has an oil content. However, although the detergency was satisfactory, it was inferior in stability, such as sweating and desalination due to aging or temperature conditions, and increased hardness at low temperatures.

In view of the above circumstances, the present applicant has previously included an oil component that is liquid at room temperature, a specific nonionic surfactant that is liquid to paste at room temperature, an organically modified clay mineral, and water, and has a viscosity of the system. A gel composition within a specific range is proposed (Patent Document 1). This gel-like composition is excellent in impact resistance, and is also excellent in washability after use.

Although the invention described in Patent Document 1 has an excellent effect in impact resistance and the like as described above, some problems remain in stability at high temperatures.

The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide a gel-like composition that is excellent in temperature stability in a wide temperature range and also excellent in detergency and washability after use.

In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention provides (a) 40 to 90% by mass of a liquid oil at room temperature, and (b) liquid or pasty POE alkyl ether and POE fatty acid ester at HLB = 6 to 17 at room temperature. 7 to 40 of one or more nonionic surfactants selected from POE glycerin fatty acid ester, POE hydrogenated castor oil and its fatty acid ester, POE sorbitan fatty acid ester, POE propylene glycol fatty acid ester and sorbitan fatty acid ester 1% selected from mass%, (c) 1-12 mass% of organically modified clay mineral, (d) 0.5-10 mass% of water, and (e) starch , octenyl succinate starch, and salts thereof Provided is a gel composition containing 0.1-5% by mass of seeds or two or more kinds .

Moreover, this invention provides the said gel-like composition which is a cosmetics base.

The gel composition of the present invention is excellent in stability over time in a wide temperature range (low temperature to high temperature), and further has excellent detergency and washability after use.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail.

In the present invention, as the component (a), an oil component that is liquid at room temperature (25 ° C.) is used. Such oil is not particularly limited as long as it is generally used in cosmetics. For example, hydrocarbon oils such as liquid paraffin, squalane, olefin oligomer, and light isoparaffin; 2-ethylhexanoic acid triglyceride, 2- Ester oils such as cetyl ethylhexanoate, pentaerythritol 2-ethylhexanoate, trimethylolpropane 2-ethylhexanoate, 2-ethylhexyl palmitate, isocetyl isononanoate, isopropyl myristate, cetyl octanoate; jojoba oil, olive oil, macadamia nut Natural vegetable oils such as oil, cottonseed oil, teaseed oil, safflower oil, rice bran oil; decamethylpentacyclosiloxane, octamethyltetracyclosiloxane, dimethylpolysiloxane, methylphenylpolysiloxane, etc. Silicone oil, and the like, can of course not be limited to these examples. In the present invention, hydrocarbon oil, ester oil, and silicone oil are preferably used. (A) A component can use 1 type (s) or 2 or more types.

(A) The compounding quantity of a component is 40-90 mass% in the gel-like composition whole quantity of this invention, Preferably it is 50-80 mass%. When the blending amount is less than 40% by mass, the blending amount of the other constituent components is relatively increased, and it becomes difficult to constitute the gel composition of the present invention. On the other hand, when the blending amount exceeds 90% by mass, the gelation ability is increased. This is not preferable because it causes a decrease in water resistance, a decrease in washability, and a decrease in stability.

(B) As a nonionic surfactant as a component, HLB is 6 to 17, and it is liquid to paste at normal temperature (25 ° C.), POE alkyl ether, POE fatty acid ester, POE glycerin fatty acid ester, POE cured castor One or more selected from among oil and its fatty acid ester, POE sorbitan fatty acid ester, POE propylene glycol fatty acid ester and sorbitan fatty acid ester are used.

1   The HLB is preferably 7-12. HLB is the following number 1

In the component (b), the fatty acid residue is preferably one containing an oleic acid residue, an isostearic acid residue, or a lauric acid residue. By using such a component (b), particularly excellent effects can be obtained in terms of gelling ability, washing ability and stability.

Specific examples of the component (b) include POE (6) oleyl ether (HLB = 8, liquid), POE (10) oleyl ether (HLB = 10, pasty), POE (5) lauryl ether (HLB = 9, Liquid), POE (10) hexadecyl ether (HLB = 10, paste form), POE (5) isostearyl ether (HLB = 7, liquid), POE (10) lauryl ether isostearate (HLB = 7, liquid) , POE (12) dilaurate (HLB = 9, pasty), POE (12) dioleate (HLB = 7, liquid), POE (10) monoisostearate (HLB = 12, liquid), POE (12) diiso Stearate (HLB = 7, liquid), POE (40) glyceryl isostearate (HLB = 17, pasty), POE 20) Glyceryl isostearate (HLB = 14, liquid), POE (20) Glyceryl triisostearate (HLB = 7, liquid), POE (40) Glyceryl triisostearate (HLB = 11, paste), POE (30) Glyceryl trioleate (HLB = 10, liquid), POE (10) hardened castor oil (HLB = 6, liquid), POE (30) hardened castor oil (HLB = 11, pasty), POE (20) hardened Castor oil monolaurate (HLB = 8, pasty), POE (60) hardened castor oil monolaurate (HLB = 13, pasty), POE (15) hardened castor oil monoisostearate (HLB = 6, liquid) ), POE (50) hardened castor oil monoisostearate (HLB = 12, pasty), POE (30) hardened Shea oil triisostearate (HLB = 6, liquid), POE (60) hydrogenated castor oil triisostearate (HLB = 10, paste), sorbitan monoisostearate (HLB = 9, liquid), sorbitan sesquiisostearate (HLB = 6, oily) is exemplified, but is not limited to these examples. (B) A component can use 1 type (s) or 2 or more types.

In addition, in place of the component (b), when other nonionic surfactants such as polyoxy-modified organopolysiloxane (= polyether-modified silicone) or polyglycerin fatty acid ester are used, a gel cannot be formed. The composition of the present invention cannot be obtained.

(B) The compounding quantity of a component is 7-40 mass% in the gel-like composition whole quantity of this invention, Preferably it is 10-20 mass%. If the blending amount is less than 7% by mass, it is easy to induce a decrease in washing performance and a decrease in stability. On the other hand, if the blending amount exceeds 40% by mass, it is no longer meaningful to improve the gelling ability and the washing property. Considering the burden of the surfactant on the skin, it is not preferable as a cosmetic product.

Examples of the organically modified clay mineral as the component (c) include those obtained by replacing a convertible cation interposed between crystal layers of a clay mineral (for example, montmorillonite, saponite, hectorite, bentonite) with an organic polar compound or an organic cation. . Specifically, dimethyl distearyl ammonium hectorite (= quaternium-18 hectorite), dimethyl distearyl ammonium bentonite (= quaternium-18 bentonite), dioctadecyl dimethyl ammonium salt modified montmorillonite, octadecyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium salt modified montmorillonite, Examples include dihexadecyldimethylammonium salt-modified montmorillonite. Examples of the organically modified clay mineral used in the present invention include “Benton 38” (= quaternium-18 hectorite), “Benton 34” (= quaternium-18 bentonite) (both manufactured by Leox Corporation), “Clay Tone 40”, It is commercially available as “Claytone SO” (both manufactured by Southern Clay) and is commercially available. One or more organically modified clay minerals can be used.

In addition to using a pre-organically modified clay mineral, an unmodified clay mineral such as synthetic smectite (aluminum magnesium silicate) and a cationic surfactant are separately blended into the composition, and the gel composition manufacturing process is in progress. The clay mineral may be organically modified.

(C) The compounding quantity of a component is 1-12 mass% in the gel-like composition whole quantity of this invention, Preferably it is 2-10 mass%, More preferably, it is 3-8 mass%. If the blending amount is less than 1% by mass, the gelation ability is poor. On the other hand, if the blending amount exceeds 12% by mass, the gelation ability is too strong, and the spread during use becomes heavy, making it unsuitable as a cosmetic.

As the water as the component (d), purified water or the like usually used in cosmetics is used.

(D) The compounding quantity of a component is 0.5-10 mass% in the gel-like composition whole quantity of this invention, Preferably it is 2-6 mass%. If the blending amount is less than 0.5% by mass, the gelation ability is poor. On the other hand, if the blending amount exceeds 10% by mass, gel breakage is not preferable.

(E) starch as the component, normally, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, as long as it is used in the food is not particularly limited to, for example, potato starch, cornstarch, Oh Rui chemical modifications having the these skeletons Examples include, but are not limited to these.

Potato starch mentioned above, as the chemical modifications having a skeleton of cornstarch and the like, hydroxypropyl starch, octenyl succinate corn starch sodium, octenyl succinate corn starch aluminum octenyl succinate of corn starch triethanolamine, starch sodium octenyl succinate, octenyl succinate Although starch triethanolamine etc. are mentioned, the functional group to chemically modify is not limited to this.

(E) The compounding quantity of a component is 0.1-5 mass% in the gel-like composition whole quantity of this invention. If the blending amount is less than 0.1% by mass, a sufficient stabilizing effect (especially a stabilizing effect in a wide temperature range) cannot be found. On the other hand, if the blending amount exceeds 5% by mass, the appearance is remarkably impaired. As a result, the added value is lost.

The gel composition of the present invention comprises the components (a) to (e) as essential components, whereby the liquid oil component (a) is converted into components (b) to (d) and components (e). Thus, gelation can be carried out extremely stably, and the gelation degree does not fall off and has a suitable viscosity as a cosmetic. In addition, it has a unique effect of being excellent in stability over a wide temperature range. Furthermore, the effect that it is excellent also in the washability and the washability after use is produced.

In addition to the above components, the gel composition of the present invention may optionally contain other components that are usually blended in cosmetics, as long as the desired effects of the present invention are not impaired. Also good. Examples of such components include humectants such as glycerin, butylene glycol and dipropylene glycol; buffers such as citric acid and sodium citrate; chelating agents such as EDTA; and antioxidants such as BHT and vitamin E , Emollients, thickeners, dyes, fragrances, surfactants other than those used as essential components in the present invention, and the like.

The gel composition of the present invention preferably has a system viscosity of about 20000 to 75000 mPa · s (30 ° C.). The lower limit of the viscosity is preferably 40000 mPa · s (30 ° C.), and the upper limit is preferably 50000 mPa · s (30 ° C.). In addition, the viscosity here is based on a measurement with a B-type viscometer (30 ° C.).

The gel composition of the present invention is suitably used for massage bases, makeup cleansing bases, packs, masks and the like.

The present invention will be described in more detail with reference to the following examples, but the present invention is not limited thereto. Unless otherwise specified, the amount is shown in mass%.

In each of the following Examples and Comparative Examples, “Benton 38” (manufactured by Leox) was used as the dimethyl distearyl ammonium hectorite (*) .
