Description
The present invention relates to a monitoring recording / reproducing apparatus.
In recent years, due to the deterioration of public safety, the demand for monitoring systems has increased rapidly. As the demand for products has increased, attention has been focused on power-saving technologies for monitoring systems that have been less conscious. In the prior art described in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 8-9360 (Patent Document 1), which is a power-saving technique for a monitoring system, a plurality of monitoring cameras, a monitor for displaying images from the cameras, a switching unit for switching the monitor screen, Sensor unit for detecting an abnormality, discriminating unit for determining whether there is an abnormality, an alarm unit for sounding an alarm when an abnormality occurs, a recording unit for recording an image at the time of an abnormality, a control unit for controlling them, and power for supplying power to these devices It consists of parts. In the normal monitoring state, the preheat power is supplied from the power supply unit to the sensor unit, the determination unit, and the control unit. When the determination unit detects an abnormality, the monitoring camera and the camera switching unit are added to the preheat power from the power supply unit. In this monitoring system, power is reduced by supplying power to the monitor.
In the monitoring system, it is necessary to always operate the system and turn on the power because of its use. Therefore, there is a strong demand for means for suppressing the power consumption as much as possible while sufficiently satisfying the purpose of recording valuable images, which is the original purpose of the surveillance system.
In the prior art described in
Therefore, the present invention proposes a control means for recording a precious image with high accuracy and without omission as an application of the monitoring system, and aims to suppress the power consumption of the monitoring system as much as possible. To do.
In order to solve the above-described problems, the present invention uses the configuration described in the claims as an example.
According to the present invention, it is possible to reduce power consumption of a monitoring recording / reproducing apparatus and to record a valuable image without omission in the monitoring system.
Embodiments according to the present invention will be specifically described below with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a block diagram of a monitoring system constituted by the monitoring recording / reproducing apparatus of the present invention. The configuration and operation of a monitoring system constituted by the monitoring recording / reproducing apparatus of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIG.

On the other hand, the B power supply 017 is connected to a hard disk (HDD) 007 for recording and storing video data, and to a display LED other than the fan motor, buzzer, and power switch 13 (not shown in FIG. 1).

FIG. 2 shows an example of a monitoring system that is actually configured using the recording / reproducing apparatus 0. With reference to FIG. 2 and FIG. 1, a description will be given of a means for preventing the recording of valuable images from being missed while using “grouping” while operating with minimum power consumption.
FIG. 2 assumes an actual surveillance camera installation environment.
The
For the cameras (1 to 16) installed in each room and passage, the
The movement when the connected surveillance cameras are grouped and controlled using the surveillance recording / reproducing apparatus 0 will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2. FIG. Of the four surveillance cameras installed in the
The parent camera is set to a standby state, and control is performed so that power is supplied only from the camera control unit 003 to the parent camera, and power is not supplied to the child camera and the child camera is stopped. By doing so, one camera that is the parent camera for each room and passage performs pre-recording in the standby state, so that it is when an intruder into the room and passage is detected and an abnormal alarm is generated. However, recording can be performed by one parent camera before the occurrence of the event, and the cameras installed in the other child cameras do not consume power, so that power consumption can be reduced. However, since the camera has a limited viewing angle, it is not possible to capture the entire room and the end of the passageway from one end to the other with a single camera. Therefore, the monitoring camera positioned as a child camera is turned on by using an alarm signal generated from the sensor unit 101, 501, 901, 1301 of the parent camera of the same group as a trigger, and the
FIG. 3 shows an example of a group in which the
The
By grouping as described above, it is possible to record precious images without omission while maximizing power consumption.
As described above, in the present invention, in order to solve the conventional problem, it is assumed that the monitoring recording / reproducing apparatus has a standby state in which only a predetermined circuit block is operated. The monitoring recording / reproducing apparatus having the standby state performs pre-recording in the memory from the moment before the occurrence of the abnormal alarm when the supply of power to the entire device is started by the abnormal alarm detected by the connected sensor. This is a device that has a function capable of recording images and reduces power consumption by operating only necessary blocks inside the device when no abnormal alarm occurs. Control means for controlling power supply to a plurality of surveillance cameras connected to such a surveillance recording / reproducing apparatus is provided. The control means means that a plurality of connected cameras can be freely selected and managed by a user (grouping) according to the place where the camera is installed and its use (grouping). This is a possible means. What kind of management means grouping here means that a plurality of surveillance cameras connected to a single surveillance recording / reproducing device can be freely adapted to a user's usage environment. It is possible to group cameras, and if four cameras are selected and grouped from among the connected cameras, only one of the grouped cameras is operated, The supply of power to other than the camera is stopped. When an abnormality is detected by one unit that is supplied with power, the abnormality alarm is triggered to start supplying power to the other three cameras that were grouped together. This is a system for recording a video image monitored in the system. For other cameras that do not exist in the same group, an abnormality detected by one operating camera does not act as a trigger. The above grouping control makes it possible to focus on monitoring the area around where an abnormality has been detected, and to record valuable images without omission, as well as cameras installed in less relevant places. Therefore, precious images can be recorded without omission and power saving can be realized without supplying power.
According to the present invention, in the monitoring recording / reproducing apparatus, it is possible to efficiently control the power supply to a plurality of connected monitoring cameras, and the most important in the reduction of power consumption and the monitoring system. It is possible to record precious images that are the purpose of use without omission.
