Description
i) 使用中の前記放射線ビームを表現する少なくとも1つのビーム品質指数を決定する工程と、
ii) 前記少なくとも1つのビーム品質指数に基づいてパラメータ化した線量沈着カーネルを用いて前記特定ビームフィールドに於ける前記放射線量分布を計算する工程とを特徴とする。
iii) 異なる装置に対して、
a) 異なる深度および異なるエネルギーに於ける、異なるフィールド形状及びサイズに対する測定ファントム線量データと、
b) 算出線量沈着カーネルパラメータと、
c) 対応フィールドサイズに対するファントム散乱係数に変換可能な測定ヘッド散乱係数及び出力係数とからなる、事前に収集した測定放射線ビームデータを使用する工程と、
iv) 工程iii)によって事前に収集した測定放射線ビームデータを用いて工程i)によって前記少なくとも1つのビーム品質指数を決定する工程と、
v) 線量沈着カーネルパラメータを、決定された前記1つ或いは少数のビーム品質指数に関連づける工程とを更なる特徴とする。
II 低エネルギー − TPR20,10=[0.645,0.682]
III 中エネルギー − TPR20,10=[0.682,0.744]
IV 高エネルギー − TPR20,10=[0.744,0.772]
V 極高エネルギー − TPR20,10=[0.772,0.81]
図2、3、4においてモデルとデータとの系統的偏差は誤差中央値によって視覚化可能であるが、ランダム誤差は同一プロットに於ける50%及び90%信頼区間の幅によって視覚化可能である。どちらの種類の誤差も測定値及びモデル自身の両方に由来することができる。測定データは、異なる研究者によって独立に、且つ、変化する装置を用いて得られたものなので、そのデータに於ける系統的誤差がここでの議論ではこれ以上考察しない。
Claims (12)
- 動物体の放射線治療のための放射線治療システムの放射線量分布を計算する方法において、前記放射線治療システムの放射線ビームが異なる深度において特定のビームフィールドサイズ及び形状を呈し、
i) 使用中の前記放射線ビームを表現する少なくとも1つのビーム品質指数を決定する工程と、
ii) 前記少なくとも1つのビーム品質指数に基づいてパラメータ化した線量沈着カーネルを用いて前記特定ビームフィールドに於ける前記放射線量分布を計算する工程とを特徴とする方法。 - iii) 異なる装置に対して、
a) 異なる深度および異なるエネルギーに於ける、異なるフィールド形状及びサイズに対する測定ファントム線量データと、
b) 算出線量沈着カーネルパラメータと、
c) 対応フィールドサイズに対するファントム散乱係数に変換可能な測定ヘッド散乱係数及び出力係数とからなる、事前に収集した測定放射線ビームデータを使用する工程と、
iv) 工程iii)によって事前に収集した測定放射線ビームデータを用いて工程i)によって前記少なくとも1つのビーム品質指数を決定する工程と、
v) 線量沈着カーネルパラメータを、決定された前記1つ或いは少数のビーム品質指数に関連づける工程とを更なる特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - vi) モンテカルロシミュレーションを用いて工程iii)によって前記測定データをシミュレートする工程を更なる特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1つのビーム品質指数は、d1=20cm及びd2=10cmの深度(TPR20,10)で測定した組織ファントム比(TPR)間の比によって決定されることを更なる特徴とする請求項1ないし3のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1つのビーム品質指数は、d3=10cm(PDD10)に於ける百分率深度線量(PDD)によって決定されることを更なる特徴とする請求項1ないし4のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
- 線量沈着カーネルがペンシル線量沈着カーネルであることを更なる特徴とする請求項2ないし5のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
- 線量沈着カーネルが点線量沈着カーネルであることを更なる特徴とする請求項2ないし5のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
- 動物体の放射線治療のための放射線治療システムの放射線量分布を計算する装置において、前記放射線治療システムの放射線ビームが異なる深度において特定のビームフィールドサイズ及び形状を呈し、使用中の前記放射線ビームを表現する少なくとも1つのビーム品質指数を計算手段に入力するように構成された入力手段と、前記少なくとも1つのビーム品質指数に基づいてパラメータ化した線量沈着カーネルを用いて前記放射線量分布を計算するように構成された前記計算手段とを更に有することを特徴とする装置。
- モニターユニット(MU)検査装置であることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の装置。
- IMRT治療MU検査装置であることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の装置。
