三味線のヘッド部の中央に糸巻の取付口が開口され、該開口部を側部から貫通する1対の貫通孔が開けられ、この貫通孔に側部より糸巻きが嵌め込まれ、糸巻の先端部が尖ったテーパ状となっており、1対の貫通孔は、入口側の口径が広く、出口側の口径が狭くなっており、糸巻を捻じ込むことで貫通口と糸巻との摩擦力により糸巻が固定される構造となっている糸巻構造において、
ヘッド部の裏面側から貫通孔に直角に開けられた押圧部材取付孔に、
貫通孔に嵌め込まれた糸巻を糸巻の軸方向に対して直角方向より押圧することで糸巻を固定するための押圧部材が設けられ、
押圧部材は、先端が球面となっており、
調節ネジを締め付けることで押圧部材の先端を嵌め込まれた糸巻の軸方向に対して直角方向から押圧して糸巻の軸方向の微動または周方向の回動を防止する
