Description

The present invention relates to a terminal block cover mechanism that covers a terminal mounting portion of a terminal block to which end portions of various conductive wires are screwed.

In various types of electronic devices, switchboards, control panels, and the like, a terminal block is usually used in order to make electrical connection between each device incorporated inside and each device provided outside. That is, this terminal block is used as a relay part for connecting various conductive wires drawn from each device. In general, this type of terminal block has a plurality of terminal mounting portions to which terminals of conductive wires are screwed to a base formed of an insulator. In addition, a partition wall formed integrally with the terminal block is provided between the terminal mounting portions. Thereby, each terminal attachment part is in the state each divided, and it is considered so that the conductive wire screwed by each terminal attachment part may not short-circuit.

In order to further enhance safety, a cover for preventing the conductive parts, fingers, and the like from being accidentally touched to each terminal mounting portion is mounted on the normal terminal block. There are several methods for mounting the cover, but generally, the terminal block or a mounting surface to which the terminal block is attached is screwed. As a method other than screwing, the cover is once bent into a U shape, and the claws formed at both ends of the cover are inserted into the grooves formed in the terminal block, and then the cover is uncurved and the claws are released. A method of engaging the groove with the groove is also known.

However, the method of screwing the cover requires a tool every time the cover is removed, so that it takes time and effort and causes a reduction in work efficiency. In addition to this, if the removed screw is accidentally brought into contact with the terminal mounting portion, the terminal mounting portion may be short-circuited. Furthermore, the removed screw may be lost.
On the other hand, since the method of attaching the cover once bent does not require a tool or a screw, the above-mentioned problem does not occur. However, since the cover needs to be bent, the cover itself needs to be made of a soft material. For this reason, the rigidity of the cover itself is lowered, and the reliability as the cover is poor. Therefore, a terminal block that does not require a tool and does not require elastic deformation of the cover is provided (see Patent Document 1).
JP 2000-1113918 A

However, the conventional terminal block still has the following problems.
That is, in the terminal block described in Patent Document 1, in order to fix the cover, a groove for slidingly inserting the cover into the terminal block side, or a protrusion shape for engaging with an engagement hole formed in the cover. It is necessary to process the engaging part. Therefore, a general terminal block that is widely used cannot be used as it is. Therefore, when a problem occurs in the terminal block, it is necessary to prepare a dedicated one again, which requires a running cost.

The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and its purpose is to cover the terminal mounting portion of a generally used terminal block with a simple manual operation without using a tool. It is providing the cover mechanism for terminal blocks which can do.

The present invention provides the following means in order to solve the above problems.
The terminal block cover mechanism according to the present invention includes a base and a plurality of terminal mounting portions formed on the base, and is provided at both ends of the base so as to sandwich the plurality of terminal mounting portions therebetween. A terminal block cover mechanism used for a terminal block that is fixed to a mounting surface using screws, the terminal block cover mechanism being attached to both ends of the base via the screws, and more than the plurality of terminal mounting portions. A pair of fixing brackets having an annular spacer portion arranged at a position spaced apart from one another, a closed position in which one end side is rotatably connected to one of the spacer portions, and covers the upper portions of the plurality of terminal mounting portions, and a plurality of terminals A plate-shaped cover member that is displaced between an open position that opens the upper portion of the attachment portion, and the cover member is disposed on the other end side when the cover member is positioned at the closed position. to hold the cover member in the closed position fitted to the spacer portion Parts are formed fitting groove which is cut into a tapered shape, in the closed position, the other end is characterized in by comprising projecting outward from an end portion of the base.

In the terminal block cover mechanism according to the present invention, when fixing the terminal block to the mounting surface using the screws provided at both ends of the base, a pair of solid metal fittings are used as the base using the same screws. Secure in the attached state. At this time, the spacer portions of the pair of fixing brackets are arranged at positions farther from the base than the plurality of terminal mounting portions at both ends of the base. In addition, a plate-like cover member is rotatably connected to one spacer portion.
Then, when connecting the end portions of various conductive wires to the plurality of terminal mounting portions, the cover member is rotated and positioned at the open position. Thereby, the upper part of a some terminal attachment part will be in the open state. Therefore, the operator can perform the connection work of the conductive wires without being obstructed by the cover member. And after a connection operation | work is complete | finished, a cover member is rotated from an open position to a closed position, and the upper part of a some terminal attachment part is covered with a cover member. At this time, the fitting groove formed on the other end side of the cover member is pushed into the other spacer portion to be fitted. Thereby, a cover member can be reliably hold | maintained in a closed position, and the state which covered the upper part of the some terminal attachment part can be maintained.

Therefore, it is possible to prevent accidental contact of some conductive parts, fingers, etc. with a plurality of terminal mounting portions, and it is possible to prevent a short circuit between the plurality of terminal mounting portions and improve safety. Can do. Further, when removing the conductive wire from the terminal mounting portion, the cover member is rotated from the closed position to the open position after releasing the fitting groove and the other spacer portion. Thereby, since the upper part of a some terminal attachment part will be in the open state, a conductive wire can be easily removed after that.

As described above, since the terminal mounting portion can be covered by a simple manual operation by simply rotating the cover member between the open position and the closed position, no tool is required and work efficiency is not reduced. Further, since the cover member is rotatably connected to the spacer portion of the fixing bracket, there is no possibility of losing the cover member during connection or removal of the conductive wire. Further, since it is not necessary to bend the cover member as in the conventional case, the rigidity can be increased and the reliability as the cover can be increased.
In particular, since the pair of fixing brackets are fixed using screws for attaching the terminal block, there is no need to process the terminal block as in the conventional case. Therefore, it can be used in combination with a general terminal block that is widely used. Therefore, even if a problem occurs in the terminal block itself, a general-purpose product can be used, and the running cost can be reduced.

The terminal block cover mechanism according to the present invention includes a base and a plurality of terminal mounting portions formed on the base, and is provided at both ends of the base so as to sandwich the plurality of terminal mounting portions therebetween. A terminal block cover mechanism used for a terminal block fixed to a mounting surface by using a screw that is attached to both ends of the base via the screw, than the plurality of terminal mounting portions. comprising a pair of fixing brackets having a spacer portion of annular disposed at a position spaced from the base, and a cover member formed in a plate shape, the cover member, on both ends, to cover the plurality of terminal mounting portion When the cover member is positioned in the closed position, the through portions that penetrate the pair of spacer portions, and the through portions that are integrally formed with the cover member, and when the cover member is slid in one direction, , Fit to each pair of spacers A fitting groove in which a part for holding the bar member in the closed position has been cut in a tapered shape, are formed respectively in the closed position, from the end portion at one end of the base of said opposite ends It is characterized by protruding outward .

And after the connection operation | work which connects the edge part of various conductive wires to a some terminal attachment part is complete | finished, a cover member is piled up on a terminal block. At this time, the spacers are overlapped with the penetrating portions formed at both ends of the cover member with the spacer portions penetrating. Thereby, the upper part of a some terminal attachment part can be covered with a cover member. Then, the cover member is slid in one direction from the overlapped position, and the fitting grooves integrally formed in the through portion are pushed into the spacer portions to be fitted. Thereby, a cover member can be reliably hold | maintained in the closed position which covers a some terminal attachment part, and the state which covered the upper part of the some terminal attachment part can be maintained.

Therefore, it is possible to prevent accidental contact of some conductive parts, fingers, etc. with a plurality of terminal mounting portions, and it is possible to prevent a short circuit between the plurality of terminal mounting portions and improve safety. Can do. Further, when removing the conductive wire from the terminal mounting portion, the cover portion is slid in the reverse direction to release the fitting between the fitting groove and the spacer portion, and then the cover member is removed. Thereby, since the upper part of a some terminal attachment part will be in the open state, a conductive wire can be easily removed after that.

As described above, since the terminal mounting portion can be covered by a simple manual operation by simply sliding the cover member, no tool is required, and work efficiency is not reduced.

The terminal block cover mechanism according to the present invention is the terminal block cover mechanism according to the present invention, wherein a bent portion that is bent at a substantially right angle is formed on one side of the cover member. When held, it contacts the side surface of the base and shields the gap between the cover member and the base.

In the terminal block cover mechanism according to the present invention, since the bent portion is formed on one side of the cover member, the bent portion abuts against the side surface of the base when the cover member is held in the closed position. The gap between the cover member and the base is shielded. Therefore, even if dust or the like enters from the side of the terminal block between the terminal block and the cover member, it can be shielded by the bent portion. Therefore, it is possible to prevent dust and the like from adhering to the plurality of terminal mounting portions as much as possible. Therefore, the possibility of a short circuit due to the adhesion of dust or the like can be reduced, and safety can be further improved.

The terminal block cover mechanism according to the present invention is characterized in that, in any of the terminal block cover mechanisms according to the present invention, the cover member is made of a transparent material.

In the terminal block cover mechanism according to the present invention, since the cover member is transparent, the connection state between the terminal mounting portion and the conductive wire can be confirmed through the cover member.

According to the terminal block cover mechanism of the present invention, it is possible to reliably cover a terminal mounting portion of a generally used terminal block by a simple manual operation without using a tool.

(First embodiment)
Hereinafter, a first embodiment of a terminal block cover mechanism according to the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the terminal block cover mechanism 1 of the present embodiment includes a base 2 and a plurality of terminal mounting portions 3 formed on the base 2, and includes a plurality of terminal mounting portions. 3 is used for the terminal block 5 that is fixed to the mounting surface S by using screws 4 provided at both ends of the base 2 so as to sandwich 3 therebetween.

First, the terminal block 5 will be described. As shown in FIGS. 3 to 6, the terminal block 5 is a general-purpose product that is widely used. For example, the terminal block 5 is formed on the base 2 with three terminal mounting portions 3 arranged in a line. Yes.
The base 2 is molded from a resin material or the like, and is formed in a rectangular shape when viewed from above. Then, three terminal mounting portions 3 are formed in a row on the upper surface side of the base 2. As shown in FIG. 6, the terminal mounting portion 3 is arranged between a terminal screw 3 a that is screwed into a screw hole 2 a formed in the base 2, and between the terminal screw 3 a and the base 2. As a result, the washers 3b, 6b of the both terminal mounting portions 3, 6 and the conductive plate 7 are in surface contact with each other, so that they are electrically connected to each other.

In addition, a partition wall 2 b formed integrally with the base 2 is provided between the terminal mounting portions 3. Thereby, each terminal attaching part 3 is in the state where it was divided, respectively, and the below-mentioned conductive wire W connected to each terminal attaching part 3 contacts and does not short-circuit.

Further, at both ends of the base 2, a notch portion 2c for accommodating a screw 4 for fixing the base 2 to the mounting surface S and an insertion hole through which the screw 4 for fixing the base 2 to the mounting surface S is inserted. 2d is formed. The notch portions 2 c are formed at substantially central portions at both ends of the base 2. The insertion hole 2d is formed in the notch 2c.
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the terminal block 5 configured as described above includes the screw 4, a washer 8 inserted through the screw 4, and a nut 9 screwed into the screw 4. It is supposed to be fixed to.

As shown in FIGS. 1, 2, and 7, the terminal block cover mechanism 1 is attached to both ends of the base 2 via screws 4, and is more distant from the base 2 than the plurality of terminal mounting portions 3. A pair of fixing metal fittings 20 having an annular spacer portion 20a disposed at a position, a closed position P1 which is rotatably connected to one spacer portion 20a at one end side, and covers the upper portions of the plurality of terminal attachment portions 3 and terminal attachment portions 3 is provided with a plate-like cover member 21 that is displaced between an open position P2 that opens the upper portion of 3.

As shown in FIG. 6, the pair of fixing brackets 20 is a bracket in which the cylindrical portion 20b and the spacer portion 20a are integrally formed. A screw hole 20c through which the screw 4 is inserted is formed. The cylindrical portion 20b has an outer diameter that is sized to be accommodated in the cutout portion 2c, and the height is adjusted so that the spacer portion 20a protrudes from the upper end of the base 2 when accommodated. Has been. Thereby, the spacer part 20a will be in the state arrange | positioned in the position spaced apart from the base 2 rather than the some terminal attachment part 3. FIG. In addition, the fixing bracket 20 is fixed to the terminal block 5 using the screws 4 while being accommodated in the notch 2c.

As shown in FIG. 8, the cover member 21 is formed in a substantially rectangular shape as shown in FIG. 8, and an insertion hole 21a through which the spacer portion 20a is inserted is formed on one end side. The cover member 21 is prevented from being removed by the washer 8 and the screw 4 in a state where the spacer portion 20a is inserted into the insertion hole 21a. As a result, the cover member 21 is rotatably connected to the one spacer portion 20a. As shown in FIG. 7, the cover member 21 rotates about the axis L and is closed as described above. And the open position P2 can be displaced.
Further, on the other end side of the cover member 21, when the cover member 21 is positioned at the closed position P1, the fitting groove 21b is fitted to the other spacer portion 20a to hold the cover member 21 at the closed position P1. Is formed. Furthermore, a bent portion 21 c that is bent at a substantially right angle is formed on one side of the cover member 21. When the cover member 21 is held at the closed position P1, the bent portion 21c abuts against the side surface of the base 2 to form a gap between the cover member 21 and the base 2 as shown in FIG. It is designed to shield.

Next, the operation of the terminal block cover mechanism 1 configured as described above will be described.
First, before attaching the terminal block 5 to the mounting surface S using the screws 4 provided at both ends of the base 2, the fixing bracket 20 is accommodated in the notch 2c. At this time, the spacer portions 20 a of the pair of fixing brackets 20 are arranged at positions farther from the base 2 than the terminal mounting portions 3 at both ends of the base 2. Further, the insertion hole 21 a of the cover member 20 is inserted into the spacer portion 20 a of one fixing bracket 20. Next, using the screws 4 to which the terminal block 5 is attached, the pair of fixing brackets 20 are fixed to the base 2 while being fixed, and the base 2 is fixed to the mounting surface S. Thereby, the cover member 21 will be in the state connected rotatably with respect to one spacer part 20a.

Next, as shown in FIG. 7, the cover member 21 is rotated around the axis L to be positioned at the open position P2. Thereby, the upper part of the some terminal attachment part 3 will be in the open state. Therefore, the worker can connect the conductive wire W without being obstructed by the cover member 21. In the present embodiment, the case where the conductive wire W is connected by pressing the terminal T crimped to the end of each conductive wire W against the conductive plate 7 with the washer 3b and the terminal screw 3a is taken as an example. Yes. Thereafter, by connecting an end portion of a conductive wire (not shown) to the other terminal mounting portion 6, the terminal block 5 functions as a relay part that connects the conductive wire and the conductive wire W.

Then, after the connection work of the conductive wires W is completed, the cover member 21 is rotated from the open position P2 to the closed position P1, and the upper portions of the plurality of terminal attachment portions 3 are covered with the cover member 21. At this time, the fitting groove 21b formed on the other end side of the cover member 21 is pushed into the other spacer portion 20a to be fitted. Thereby, as shown in FIG.1 and FIG.2, the cover member 21 can be reliably hold | maintained in the closed position P1, and the state which covered the upper part of the some terminal attachment part 3 can be maintained.

Therefore, it is possible to prevent a plurality of terminal mounting parts 3 from being accidentally brought into contact with some conductive parts, fingers, etc., and to prevent a short circuit of the plurality of terminal mounting parts 3. Safety can be increased.
Moreover, when the cover member 21 is held at the closed position P1, as shown in FIG. 2, the bent portion 21c comes into contact with the side surface of the base 2 to shield the gap between the cover member 21 and the base 2. . Therefore, even if dust or the like enters between the terminal block 5 and the cover member 21 from the side of the terminal block 5, it can be shielded by the bent portion 21c. Therefore, it is possible to prevent dust and the like from adhering to the plurality of terminal mounting portions 3 as much as possible. Therefore, the possibility of a short circuit due to the adhesion of dust and the like can be reduced, and safety can be further improved.

Further, when removing the conductive wire W from the terminal mounting portion 3, the cover member 21 is rotated from the closed position P1 to the open position P2 after releasing the fitting between the fitting groove 21b and the other spacer portion 20a. Thereby, since the upper part of the some terminal attachment part 3 will be in the open state, the conductive wire W can be easily removed after that.
The other end side of the cover member 21 is formed to protrude outward from the terminal block 5 so that the operator can easily rotate the cover member 21.

As described above, since the terminal mounting portion 3 can be covered by a simple manual operation by simply rotating the cover member 21 between the open position P2 and the closed position P1, a tool is not required and work efficiency is reduced. There is nothing. Further, since the cover member 21 is rotatably connected to the spacer portion 20a of the fixing bracket 20, there is no possibility of losing the cover member 21 during connection or removal of the conductive wire W. Further, since it is not necessary to bend the cover member 21 as in the prior art, the rigidity can be increased and the reliability as the cover can be increased.

In particular, since the pair of fixing metal fittings 20 are fixed using the screws 4 to which the terminal block 5 is attached, there is no need to process the terminal block 5 as in the prior art. Therefore, it can be used in combination with a general terminal block 5 that is widely used. Therefore, even if a failure occurs in the terminal block 5 itself, a general-purpose product can be used, and the running cost can be suppressed.
Further, since the cover member 21 is transparent, the connection state between the terminal mounting portion 3 and the conductive wire W can be confirmed through the cover member 21.

(Second Embodiment)
Next, a second embodiment of the terminal block cover mechanism according to the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. In the second embodiment, the same components as those in the first embodiment are denoted by the same reference numerals, and the description thereof is omitted.
The difference between the second embodiment and the first embodiment is that, in the first embodiment, the cover member 21 is connected to the fixing bracket 20, but in the second embodiment, the cover member 31 is detachable. It is a point.

That is, the terminal block cover mechanism 30 of this embodiment includes a cover member 31 having a pair of through portions 31a and fitting grooves 31b as shown in FIGS. The pair of penetrating portions 31a are formed at both ends of the cover member 31, respectively. When the cover member 31 is positioned at the closed position P1 covering the plurality of terminal mounting portions 3, the pair of spacer portions 20a are respectively penetrated. ing. In this embodiment, one through portion 31a is a through hole, and the other through portion 31a has a notched cutout groove tapered.
The fitting grooves 31b are formed integrally with the pair of through portions 31a, respectively, and when the cover member 31 is slid in one direction, for example, in the longitudinal direction of the cover member 31, a pair of spacers is formed. The cover member 31 can be held at the closed position P1 by being fitted to the portions 20a.

Also, the cover member 31 of the present embodiment has a bent portion 31c formed on one side, as in the first embodiment. Furthermore, a bent portion 31d is formed on the other side, which is bent approximately 90 degrees by a slight length.

When using the terminal block cover mechanism 30 having the cover member 31 configured as described above, first, the terminal block with the pair of fixing brackets 20 attached to the base 2 as in the first embodiment. 5 is fixed to the mounting surface S. Next, a connection operation for connecting the conductive wires W to the plurality of terminal attachment portions 3 is performed. After this connection work is completed, the cover member 31 is overlaid on the terminal block 5. At this time, as shown in FIG. 11, the cover member 31 is overlapped with the penetrating portions 31 a formed at both ends in a state where the spacer portion 20 a is penetrated. Thereby, the upper part of the some terminal attachment part 3 can be covered with the cover member 31. FIG. Then, the cover groove 31 is slid in one direction along the longitudinal direction of the cover member 31 (the direction of the arrow A shown in FIG. 11) from the position where the cover member 31 is overlapped, and the fitting groove formed integrally with the through portion 31a. Each 31b is pushed into the spacer portion 20a to be fitted. Thereby, as shown in FIG.12 and FIG.13, the cover member 31 can be reliably hold | maintained in the closed position P1 which covers the some terminal attachment part 3, and the state which covered the upper part of the some terminal attachment part 3 is covered. Can be maintained.
In FIGS. 11 to 13, the conductive lines W are not shown in order to make the drawings easy to see.

Further, when removing the conductive wire W from the terminal attachment portion 3, the cover portion is slid in the reverse direction to release the fitting between the fitting groove 31 b and the spacer portion 20 a, and then the cover member 31 is removed. Thereby, since the upper part of the some terminal attachment part 3 will be in the open state, the conductive wire W can be easily removed after that.
Note that the cover member 31 of the present embodiment is also formed so that the other end protrudes outward from the terminal block 5 so that the operator can easily perform a slide operation, as in the first embodiment.

As described above, also in the terminal block cover mechanism 30 of the present embodiment, as in the first embodiment, the terminal mounting portion of the terminal block 5 that is generally used by a simple manual operation without using a tool. 3 can be reliably covered. In particular, since the cover member 31 of the present embodiment has the bent portion 31d formed on the opposite side in addition to the bent portion 31c, the rigidity can be further increased and the reliability as the cover is higher. Further, it is possible to cope with a situation where it is difficult to rotate the cover member 31.

The technical scope of the present invention is not limited to the above embodiment, and various modifications can be made without departing from the spirit of the present invention.

For example, in each of the above-described embodiments, the terminal block 5 having the notch portions 2 c at both ends of the base 2 is taken as an example. However, the terminal block 5 is not limited to this. In addition, although the terminal block 5 in which the three terminal mounting portions 3 are arranged in the base 2 is taken as an example, the number of the terminal mounting portions 3 is not limited to three.

Further, in the second embodiment, the case where one through portion 31a is a through hole and the other through hole is a cut-out groove has been described as an example. However, both through portions 31a may be formed as through holes.
Moreover, when sliding the cover member 31, the case where it moved to the direction along the longitudinal direction of the cover member 31 was taken as an example, However, It is not limited to this direction. By changing the forming direction of the fitting groove 31b, it is possible to slide in a free direction. In this case, the bent portions 31c and 31d are not formed, and the flat cover member 31 may be used. However, the bent portions 31c and 31d can be formed in the cover member by forming the fitting groove 31b so as to be slidable in the direction along the longitudinal direction as in the present embodiment, so that the rigidity of the cover member 31 is increased. Is more preferable.
