A vehicle such as a motorcycle is usually provided with a stop switch device for turning on a stop lamp when a driver depresses a brake pedal. As shown in FIG. 6, the conventional stop switch device includes a metal shaft member 101, a first insulator 102, a second insulator 103, a contact 104, and a contact plate 105. When the shaft member 101 slides in the axial direction (right direction in the figure) in conjunction with the brake pedal, the contact plate 105 contacts the contact 104 (from the state of the two-dot chain line in the figure to the solid line). The contact lamp was turned on and the stop lamp was turned on. In addition, since this prior art does not relate to the literature known invention, there is no prior art document information to be described.

However, in the conventional stop switch device, when rainwater or the like enters from the abutting surface of the contact 105 and the first insulator 102 or the abutting surface of the contact 105 and the second contact 103, the rainwater or the like However, there is a possibility that the space S is reached. However, it is conceivable to provide a waterproof means for preventing rainwater or the like from reaching the space S, but in that case, there is a problem that the manufacturing cost increases accordingly.

The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and rainwater that has entered from a butt surface between the contact and the first or second insulator while avoiding an increase in manufacturing cost. An object of the present invention is to provide a stop switch device that can prevent the shaft from reaching the shaft member.

According to the first aspect of the present invention, a metal shaft member capable of sliding in the axial direction in conjunction with a brake pedal of a vehicle, and a cylindrical first insulation attached so as to cover a side surface on the distal end side of the shaft member And a cylindrical second insulator attached to cover the base end side surface of the shaft member, and the shaft member is disposed between the first insulator and the second insulator so as to cover the side surface of the shaft member. And a contact made of a cylindrical conductive material abutted against the first insulator and the second insulator, and a non-conducting state in contact with the second insulator due to sliding of the shaft member, or A stop switch device for turning on a stop lamp mounted on the vehicle by bringing the contact plate into a conductive state on the basis of an operation of the brake pedal. 1 Insulator has an extended part extended to the 2nd insulator side Rutotomoni, characterized in that said extension portion is interposed between the contacts and the second Zetsuenko the shaft member.

According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the stop switch device according to the first aspect, the first insulator is made of a resin material having higher heat resistance than the second insulator.

According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the stop switch device according to the first or second aspect, a minute clearance is provided between a tip of the extending portion and the second insulator.

According to the first aspect of the present invention, the first insulator has an extending portion extending toward the second insulator, and the extending portion is between the shaft member, the contact and the second insulator. Therefore, a labyrinth structure can be formed between the abutting surface of the contact and the first and second insulators and the extending portion. Thereby, it can suppress that the rain water etc. which permeated from the butt | matching surface between a contactor and a 1st insulator or a 2nd insulator reach to a shaft member, avoiding that manufacturing cost increases. .

According to invention of Claim 2, since a 1st insulator consists of a resin material which has heat resistance higher than a 2nd insulator, while being able to suppress abrasion of a contact plate, it can contact with a contactor by arc heat. Even if the butt surface with the second insulator is melted, it is possible to prevent the contact plate and the shaft member from being touched by the extended portion of the first insulator.

According to the invention of claim 3, since the minute clearance is provided between the extension portion distal end and the second insulator, the contact surface between the contactor and the second insulator is melted by the arc heat. In addition, the distal end of the extending portion and the second insulator can be brought into contact with each other, and the assembled state of the first insulator, the contact and the second insulator with respect to the shaft member can be maintained.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be specifically described with reference to the drawings.
The stop switch device according to the present embodiment is for lighting a stop lamp mounted on a two-wheeled vehicle based on an operation of a brake pedal in the two-wheeled vehicle. As shown in FIGS. The shaft member 3, the first insulator 4, the second insulator 5, the contact 6, and the contact plate 7 are mainly configured.

The cases 2a and 2b are made of resin and constitute the casing of the stop switch device 1. The cases 2a and 2b are fixed to a predetermined position of the two-wheeled vehicle, and the shaft member 3, the first insulator 4 and the second insulator 5 are provided therein. The contact 6 is slidably accommodated. In the figure, reference numeral 9 denotes a terminal electrically connected to the contact plate 7, and this terminal 9 is electrically connected via a cord B to a battery (not shown) mounted on the motorcycle. .

The shaft member 3 is made of a metal rod-like member that can slide in the axial direction (left and right in FIGS. 2 and 3) in conjunction with a brake pedal (not shown) of a motorcycle (vehicle), and has a large diameter at the tip thereof. A head 3a is formed, and a connection hole 3b is formed at the proximal end. Thus, one end Aa of the connecting member A is connected to the connection hole 3b. And if the other end Ab of this connection member A is connected and assembled with the brake pedal of a two-wheeled vehicle, the shaft member 3 can operate | move in response to the said brake pedal.

The 1st insulator 4 consists of a cylindrical resin member attached so that the side surface of the front end side (head 3a side) of the shaft member 3 may be covered, and as shown in FIG. An extending portion 4a extending in the direction is integrally formed. An insertion hole 4b through which the shaft member 3 can be inserted is formed inside the first insulator 4 including the extending portion 4a. In addition, the outer diameter D2 of the extension part 4a is set smaller than the outer diameter D1 of another site | part, and the contactor 6 and the 2nd insulator 5 are inserted in the outer peripheral surface of the extension part 4a (FIG. 4), the outer peripheral surfaces of the first insulator 4, the contact 6 and the second insulator 5 are configured to be substantially flush.

The second insulator 5 is formed of a cylindrical resin member that is attached to cover the side surface of the shaft member 3 on the base end side (connection hole 3b side), and is inserted through the shaft member 3 as shown in FIGS. Possible insertion holes 5b and 5a are formed. The inner diameter D4 of the insertion hole 5a is formed smaller than the inner diameter D3 of the insertion hole 5b, and a step portion 5ba is formed at the boundary between the insertion holes 5a and 5b. The inner diameter D3 of the insertion hole 5b is set to be substantially equal to the outer diameter D2 of the extended portion 4a of the first insulator 4, and the second insulator 5 is inserted through the outer peripheral surface of the extended portion 4a. When assembled, the tip 4aa of the extended portion 4a and the stepped portion 5ba are configured to face each other with a minute clearance t.

The contact 6 is disposed between the first insulator 4 and the second insulator 5 so as to cover the side surface of the shaft member 3, and is in a cylindrical shape that abuts against the first insulator 4 and the second insulator 5. Like the first insulator 4 and the second insulator 5, an insertion hole 6a through which the shaft member 3 can be inserted is formed. The inner diameter D5 of the insertion hole 6a is set to be substantially equal to the outer diameter D2 of the extending portion 4a of the first insulator 4, and the contactor 6 is inserted through the outer peripheral surface of the extending portion 4a. It can be assembled.

However, the shaft member 3 in which the first insulator 4, the contact 6 and the second insulator 5 are assembled slides integrally in the cases 2a and 2b and functions as an operator of the stop switch device 1. It will be. In addition, a spring 8 is disposed in the case 2b so as to contact the second insulator 5 and is composed of the shaft member 3, the first insulator 4, the contact 6 and the second insulator 5. The child is biased to the left in the figure by the spring 8. As shown in FIG. 4, in a state where the actuator is assembled, the contact 6, the first insulator 4, and the second insulator 5 are in contact with each other at the abutting surfaces a and b. .

The contact plate 7 is made of a metal plate-like member fixed in the cases 2a and 2b, and is in a non-conductive state (shown in FIG. 2) in contact with the second insulator 5 by sliding of the shaft member 3. It can be set as the conduction | electrical_connection state (state shown in FIG. 3) which contacted the contact 6. That is, a voltage is applied to the pair of contact plates 7 by the battery via the terminal 9 and the cord B. When the contact plate 7 is in contact with the second insulator 5 shown in FIG. On the other hand, when the shaft member 3 slides in the axial direction in conjunction with the brake pedal, the shaft member 3 comes into contact with the contact 6 shown in FIG.

Thus, the contact plate 7 is brought into a conducting state based on the operation of the brake pedal, and a predetermined circuit is formed, so that a stop lamp mounted on the motorcycle can be turned on. Specifically, when the driver steps on the brake pedal, the shaft member 3 in the state shown in FIG. 2 is pulled rightward in the drawing and slides to the state shown in FIG. 3 against the urging force of the spring 8. Since the contact plate 7 is in contact with the contact 6 (conduction state) from the state in which the contact plate 7 is in contact with the second insulator 5 (non-conduction state), the stop lamp is energized and turned on. . In the present embodiment, the shaft member 3 is assembled by being inverted so that the tip end is the upper part and the base end is the lower part.

Here, in the present embodiment, the first insulator 4 has an extending portion 4a extending to the second insulator 5 side, and the extending portion 4a includes the shaft member 3, the contactor 6, and the second insulator 4a. It is configured to be interposed between two insulators 5. Thereby, it can be set as a labyrinth structure between the butting surfaces a and b of the contact 6 and the first insulator 4 and the second insulator 5 and the extended portion 4a, and the manufacturing cost increases. While avoiding, it is possible to prevent rainwater or the like that has entered from the butted surfaces a and b between the contact 6 and the first insulator 4 or the second insulator 5 from reaching the shaft member 3.

In the present embodiment, the first insulator 4 is made of a resin material that contains a large amount of glass fiber and has higher heat resistance than the second insulator 5. As a result, the wear of the contact plate 7 can be suppressed, and even if the butted surface b of the contact 6 and the second insulator 5 is melted by the arc heat, the extending portion 4a of the first insulator 4 It can prevent that the contact plate 7 and the shaft member 3 touch.

このとき、アーク熱が生じて特に突き合わせ面b(厳密には、突き合わせ面bを構成する第2絶縁子5端面)が溶融してしまう虞があった。 That is, when the brake pedal is repeatedly operated over a long period of time, the contact plate 7 is repeatedly turned on and off. At this time, arc heat may be generated, and in particular, the butt surface b (strictly speaking, the end surface of the second insulator 5 constituting the butt surface b) may be melted. On the other hand, according to the present embodiment, since the extended portion 4a having high heat resistance is located on the lower surface (the shaft member 3 side) of the abutting surface b, the arc heat of the extended portion 4a. Melting due to is suppressed.

Furthermore, according to the present embodiment, since the minute clearance t is provided between the extended portion 4a tip 4aa and the second insulator 5 (step portion 5ba), the contact 6 and the second contact are caused by arc heat. Even if the butting surface b with the insulator 5 is melted, the extended portion 4a tip 4aa and the step portion 5ba of the second insulator 5 can be brought into contact with each other, and the first insulator 4 and the contact with the shaft member 3 can be brought into contact with each other. The assembled state of the child 6 and the second insulator 5 can be maintained.

Although the present embodiment has been described above, the present invention is not limited to this. For example, the first insulator 4 and the second insulator 5 may be made of the same resin material, for example, both have heat resistance. Or it is good also as what does not have both heat resistance. In the present embodiment, a minute clearance is provided between the extended portion 4a tip 4aa and the second insulator 5 (step portion 5ba). The tip 4aa is abutted against the step portion 5ba and assembled. You may comprise. Furthermore, in this embodiment, although applied to a two-wheeled vehicle, you may apply to the vehicle (3-wheel buggy, ATV, etc.) of another form.

In a stop switch device for bringing a contact plate into a conductive state based on an operation of a brake pedal and lighting a stop lamp mounted on the vehicle, the first insulator extends to the second insulator side. As long as the extended portion is a stop switch device interposed between the shaft member, the contact and the second insulator, it can be applied to a device having a different external shape or having other functions added. can do.
