本発明適用前では、1回/月の頻度でトリム屑巻上がりに起因してライントラブルが発生していたが、本発明適用以降、トリム屑巻上がりによるライントラブルは一度も発生していない。なお、剪断丸刃の直径は100mmで、サイドトリミング時の鋼帯の搬送速度は最大250mpmである。

Trim waste guide plate 5 thickness t = 1.5 mm
Prior to the application of the present invention, line troubles occurred due to trim scrap hoisting at a frequency of once / month. However, after application of the present invention, line troubles due to trim scrap hoisting have never occurred. In addition, the diameter of a shearing round blade is 100 mm, and the conveyance speed of the steel strip at the time of side trimming is a maximum of 250 mpm.

金属帯の両耳部のサイドトリミングを行うサイドトリマー装置であって、金属帯幅方向の外側に配置した下刃と、金属帯幅方向の内側に配置した上刃とで構成される一対の剪断丸刃を金属帯幅方向の両サイドに配置し、トリム屑発生位置からトリム屑をパスラインの下方に位置させるまでの間のトリム屑通路の上方を覆うトリム屑ガイド板を剪断刃取付基台のガイド受け部にガイド板支持部に設けた長孔を介してボルトで金属帯搬送方向の出側に取り付け配置し、
かつ側面から見て、金属帯搬送方向の出側において、前記トリム屑ガイド板の下表面とパスラインとの間にトリム後の金属帯の表面に至るサイドスペースができないように前記トリム屑ガイド板を、該トリム屑ガイド板の下表面から前記下刃の外周の最上位置までの上下方向間隔が2mm以内とし、パスラインに対する傾斜角度を4〜8°としたことを特徴とする金属帯のサイドトリマー装置。
