2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, an electrodeless discharge lamp device that emits light by exciting a discharge gas sealed in a loop-shaped bulb by electromagnetic induction is known. For example, as an electrodeless discharge lamp device, a loop-shaped bulb in which a discharge gas containing mercury vapor is sealed, a ring-shaped core surrounding the bulb, an induction coil wound around the core, and an induction coil connected to the induction coil There has been proposed a high-frequency power source for supplying a high-frequency current and a compensation loop and a compensation loop circuit network for supplying a current to the compensation loop so as to remove noise (see Patent Document 1).
Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 11-86799

However, in the device described in Patent Document 1, since it is necessary to provide the compensation loop network as described above, the structure becomes complicated, and the startability is improved by reducing the start voltage. is not.

In general, in the case of an electrodeless discharge lamp device using a loop-shaped bulb as described above, a high starting voltage is required to connect discharge in a loop shape at the start of starting, and the starting start voltage increases as the discharge path becomes longer. It becomes difficult to start.

In this case, for example, it is conceivable that a conductor is provided along the axial direction of the bulb so that the conductor can function as a starting auxiliary conductor that assists starting for lighting. However, it is necessary to arrange the starting auxiliary conductor along the axial direction of the loop-shaped valve, and it is difficult to hold the starting auxiliary conductor in a state of being arranged along the axial direction of the valve. I am troubled.

It is an object of the present invention to provide an electrodeless discharge lamp device and a lighting fixture that can be easily manufactured because the auxiliary starting conductor can be easily arranged substantially along the axial direction of the bulb.

In order to solve the above-mentioned problem, claim 1 of the present invention is an electrodeless discharge lamp device for lighting a discharge gas enclosed in a tubular bulb having a loop shape by exciting and emitting light by electromagnetic induction. A lighting apparatus is provided.

According to the first aspect of the present invention, the conductor holding member is disposed in the section forming portion having a through-hole partitioned inside the loop-shaped valve, and the starting auxiliary conductor is held by the conductor holding member. For example, even when forming a loop shape along the axial direction of the valve, it can be easily arranged.

According to the second aspect of the present invention, the start-up auxiliary conductor is provided with a reflecting surface that receives light emitted from the bulb and reflects the received light from the partition forming portion to the front side through the through hole. The conductor can function as a starting assisting member that assists starting for lighting the bulb, and at the same time, the light emitted from the bulb can be efficiently irradiated by the reflecting surface.

According to the third aspect, since the conductor holding member is connected to the mounting member or the luminaire main body, the conductor holding member can be easily arranged on the partition forming portion, and the conductor holding member can be formed. It can be easy.

According to the fourth aspect of the present invention, it is possible to easily dispose the starting auxiliary conductor along the bulb and to provide a lighting device that can be easily manufactured.

Examples of the metal vapor include mercury, sodium, cadmium, and zinc.

The coupler unit 3 includes a first core 31 and a second core 32 having two identical configurations as shown in FIG. The first core 31 and the second core 32 are made of a ferrite material (MnZn). The first core 31 and the second core 32 are formed in a ring shape having a hole 33 having a diameter larger than the diameters of the first straight pipe portion 21 and the second straight pipe portion 22 of the valve 2.

The first core 31 and the second core 32 configured as described above are configured such that the first straight pipe portion 21 and the second straight pipe portion 22 of the valve 2 are inserted into the holes 33, respectively. Are arranged on one end side (left end side in FIG. 1) of the first straight pipe portion 21 and on one end side of the second straight pipe portion 22.

The induction coil 4 is wound around a part of each of the first core 31 and the second core 32. The induction coil 4 is connected to a high frequency power source (not shown) provided in the luminaire main body 101 so that high frequency power can be supplied. Note that the number of windings and the winding direction of the induction coil 4 are set so that discharge can be generated and maintained in the bulb 2.

The conductor holding member 6 is for holding the starting auxiliary conductor 7, and the conductor holding member 6 of this embodiment includes a synthetic resin holding portion main body 60 and one end side of the holding portion main body 60 (the left end in FIG. 1). And a connecting portion 61 integrally formed on the side).

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 3, the holding portion main body 60 is formed of a long shape, and its front side is substantially the entire portion from one end side to the other end side in the longitudinal direction of the partition forming portion 9. It is formed in a shape that can enter. In addition, a conductor placement portion 63 for placing the starter auxiliary conductor 7 is provided on the front side where it enters.

The conductor arrangement part 63 is formed in a substantially U shape along the axial direction of each of the first straight pipe part 21, the second curved pipe part 24, and the second straight pipe part 22.

As described above, the connecting portion 61 of the conductor holding member 6 is a portion where the conductor holding member 6 is connected to the mounting member 5 described later. Here, the attachment member 5 used in this embodiment will be described.

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the attachment member 5 is composed of two metal plate-like elastic members, ie, an attachment main body piece 51 and a sandwiching piece 52. The mounting body piece 51 has a substantially U shape, and includes a core holding portion 53 that holds the first core 31 and the second core 32 on the inner peripheral side.

The sandwiching piece 52 includes a core pressing portion 54 that presses the first core 31 and the second core 32. Then, both ends of the sandwiching piece 52 are locked to an attachment main body piece 51 in which the first core 31 and the second core 32 are held by the core holding portion 53. Further, at the time of the locking, the core pressing portion 54 of the sandwiching piece 52 presses the first core 31 and the second core 32, whereby the mounting body piece 51 and the sandwiching piece 52 form the first core 31 and the second core. 32 is pinched.

When the first core 31 and the second core 32 are sandwiched between the mounting body piece 51 and the sandwiching piece 52, the connecting portion 61 of the conductor holding member 6 is inserted between the mounting body piece 51 and the sandwiching piece 52. They are connected by being sandwiched between the pieces 52. Therefore, the conductor holding member 6 can be connected as it is using the conventional attachment main body piece 51 and the sandwiching piece 52, and can be manufactured easily.

And by this connection, the conductor arrangement | positioning part 63 of the holding | maintenance part main body 60 of the conductor holding member 6 is maintained in the state in which the division formation part 9 entered.

Next, the starting auxiliary conductor 7 will be described. The starting auxiliary conductor 7 is made of a long and bendable material formed in a linear shape from a conductive material. In this embodiment, a linear material having a wire diameter of about 0.5 to 2.0 mm is used with the same material (plated wire, litz wire, etc.) as the induction coil 4. The starting auxiliary conductor 7 is not limited to the form made of the same material as that of the induction coil 4, and can be made of, for example, a copper wire. Moreover, the diameter is not limited to the range of about 0.5 to 2.0 mm, and a smaller or larger diameter can be used.

And this starting auxiliary conductor 7 is arrange | positioned at the conductor arrangement | positioning part 63 of the holding | maintenance part main body 60 in the conductor holding member 6, Thereby, from the one end side of the longitudinal direction (axial direction) of the starting auxiliary conductor 7 to the other end side, The first straight pipe part 21, the second curved pipe part 24, and the second straight pipe part 22 are extended along the axial direction.

In this embodiment, in this state, the starting auxiliary conductor 7 is bonded to the holding body 60 by an adhesive means such as an adhesive. The start-up auxiliary conductor 7 is not limited to a configuration in which the auxiliary starting conductor 7 is bonded to the holding portion main body 60 by the bonding means, but can be changed as appropriate. For example, one or both of the one end side and the other end side of the starting auxiliary conductor 7 may be wound around the connecting portion 61 of the conductor holding member 6.

In the electrodeless discharge lamp device 1 according to this embodiment configured as described above, when a voltage is applied to the induction coil 4, an electromagnetic field is generated around the induction coil 4 by the voltage to form a magnetic field. The magnetic field also generates a closed loop electric field in the bulb 2. This electric field generates a discharge in the bulb 2 and causes a discharge current to flow, thereby lighting the bulb.

At this time, since the starting auxiliary conductor 7 functions as a proximity conductor that guides the discharge along the length direction (axial direction) of the bulb 2, the discharge can be easily connected in a loop shape. Thereby, the starting start voltage of the discharge which generate | occur | produces in the induction coil 4 can be made low, and startability can be improved.

For example, in the bulb 2 in which argon is sealed as an inert gas, the discharge path length (the bulb-like length of the bulb 2) is set to about 1000 mm, and the outer diameter is set to about 40 mm, the starting start voltage when no starting auxiliary conductor is provided Was about 1000V, whereas in this embodiment provided with the starting auxiliary conductor 7 (in this embodiment, the wire diameter was about 1 mm), the starting start voltage was about 800 to 900V. Therefore, when the start auxiliary conductor 7 is provided, the start start voltage is lower than when the start auxiliary conductor is not provided. This indicates that starting is easier than in the case where the starting auxiliary conductor is not provided.

Next, the lighting fixture 100 of this invention is demonstrated. As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the lighting fixture 100 includes an electrodeless discharge lamp device 1 and a lighting fixture main body 101 to which the electrodeless discharge lamp device 1 is attached. The electrodeless discharge lamp device 1 has the same configuration as that of the above embodiment.

The luminaire main body 101 includes a mounting member 5 to which the electrodeless discharge lamp device 1 is attached and a cover 104 that covers the electrodeless discharge lamp device 1 from the side. A lighting circuit including a power source and connected to the induction coil 4, a power cord, and the like are provided so that a voltage can be applied to the electrodeless discharge lamp device 1.

1 and 2, the attachment member 5 holds the first core 31 and the second core 32 of the electrodeless discharge lamp device 1 on the core holding portion 53 and also connects the conductor holding member 6 to each other. 61 is connected. In this state, as shown in FIG. 4, the attachment member 5 is attached to the luminaire main body 101 via the fixing bolt 102, whereby the electrodeless discharge lamp device 1 is attached to the luminaire main body 101.

In the above embodiment, the connecting portion 61 of the conductor holding member 6 is clamped by the mounting main body piece 51 and the clamping piece 52 of the mounting member 5. The fixing member 5 may be fixed by a fixing means such as an adhesive or a bolt.
