Description

The present invention relates to a joining member for a vehicle surface layer material, and more particularly to a joining member suitable for joining a vehicle surface material having thick rigidity.

In a cab-over type vehicle, an engine room is formed in the lower part of the front seat, and an opening which is a service hole for accessing the engine room is formed in the vehicle body floor located below the cushion of the front seat. Yes. The opening is opened by pulling up the front seat, and the engine room can be accessed through the opening for maintenance or the like (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

As shown in FIG. 6, the vehicle body floor 3 on which the front seat (vehicle seat) 10 of the vehicle 1 is disposed is formed one step higher than the vehicle body floor 2 in the vicinity of the feet of the occupant, and below the vehicle body floor 3. An engine room 5 is formed, and an engine 5 a and the like are disposed in the engine room 5.

The opening 3a formed in the vehicle body floor 3 is covered with a riser panel 6, thereby partitioning the engine room 5 and the vehicle compartment. The riser panel 6 is attached to the vehicle body floor 3 so that the opening 3a can be opened and closed together with the seat cushion portion 11 of the vehicle seat 10.
In addition, the riser panel 6 and the standing portion 4 that rises from the vehicle body floor 2 to the vehicle body floor 3 are carpets (for the purpose of concealing the opening and closing structure and improving the appearance of the exterior, and for the purpose of heat insulation and sound insulation). Riser carpet 7 is attached. The carpet 7 has been conventionally used by cutting and sewing a carpet material used also for the vehicle body floor 2.

However, this carpet material is needle punched and formed with a backing layer such as latex or PE, and since it has high rigidity, it has been difficult to match the shape of the vehicle body such as the standing portion 4 and the vehicle body floor 3. For this reason, the carpet 7 had to be simplified in shape, and there was room for improving the appearance of the carpet 7.

Further, it is necessary to set a sewing line in the vicinity of the corners of the vehicle body floor 3 and the upright portion 4, but a seat allowance for sewing the carpet materials together is a seat slide rail disposed at the lower portion of the seat cushion portion 11. It must be located on the trajectory of and avoid interfering with it. For this reason, it is necessary to consciously lower the sewing line, and it is difficult to set the sewing line with priority on the appearance.

Conventionally, as shown in FIG. 7 (A), if carpet materials having a large thickness and predetermined rigidity are sewed along the end portions, the sewing portion 7a of the carpet 7 rises from the vehicle body floor 3 or the standing portion 4. It did not look good. Further, as shown in FIG. 7B, there is a problem that the unevenness becomes large due to the variation in mounting and the appearance is deteriorated.

Further, when the riser panel 6 and the vehicle seat 10 are opened and closed to access the engine room 5 from the opening 3a, a part of the carpet 7 is turned up to release a seat fixing hook (not shown). There must be.
Since the carpet 7 has high rigidity, as shown in FIG. 8 (A), if care is not taken in the turning-up operation or attachment, the unevenness becomes large and a dent remains partially, and the appearance is impaired.

Further, as shown in FIG. 8B, it is possible to join the thin skin material 8 between the thick carpets 7 by sewing and to connect the carpet 7 via the skin material 8. Therefore, there is a problem that the sewing process becomes complicated and the sewing portion 8a becomes thick and looks bad. Furthermore, although the thin skin material 8 is easy to follow a three-dimensional shape, there is a risk that wrinkles and creases may occur unless the attachment work is performed with care.

Further, in order to improve the appearance quality, it is conceivable to form the carpet 7 three-dimensionally by hot press molding, but it is necessary to form a backing layer such as PE on the back surface of the carpet material for molding. The carpet 7 itself becomes thicker and more rigid. For this reason, the operation of turning up the carpet 7 becomes difficult, and there is a possibility that a crease or the like may remain. Further, when returning the opened vehicle seat 10 to the original closed position, it is necessary to pay attention to the deformation of the carpet 7, and it takes time and effort to return it to the original position.

Furthermore, in order to ensure heat insulation performance and sound insulation performance, it is desirable to make the carpet 7 itself thicker, but this may cause problems in the appearance of the sewing part and the difficulty of turning up during maintenance. was there.

In view of the above problems, an object of the present invention is a joining member for joining vehicle surface materials such as thick carpet materials, and the joined vehicle surface material can be attached to a vehicle without taking time, An object of the present invention is to provide a joining member for a vehicle surface material that can be easily fitted to a three-dimensional shape of a vehicle and can improve the appearance.

According to the present invention, the above-described problem is a joining member that joins the terminals of the vehicle surface layer material that covers the vehicle structure, and covers the exterior surface along the terminal of the one vehicle surface material. A first joint that is attached in a state where the outer surface is covered along the end of the other vehicle surface material, the first joint, and the second joint. A connecting portion that is connected along the longitudinal direction, and the connecting portion has a protrusion that protrudes toward the anti-appearance surface, and a groove is formed on the appearance surface side along the longitudinal direction of the protrusion. In addition, the problem is solved by being formed so as to be able to be bent by the groove.

Thus, in the present invention, the joining member that joins the two vehicle surface materials is such that the first joining portion and the second joining portion are attached to the outer surface side of one and the other vehicle skin material, Covers the end of the vehicle skin. And the groove part is formed in the longitudinal direction in the connection part which connects a 1st junction part and a 2nd junction part, and it becomes possible to bend a 1st junction part and a 2nd junction part by this. Yes.

With such a configuration, when the vehicle surface material joined by the joining member covers the vehicle structure, the joining member bends so as to conform to the external shape of the vehicle structure, and the vehicle surface material becomes a member of the vehicle structure. The appearance can be improved by fitting to the appearance shape.
In addition, when turning up the vehicle surface layer material covering the vehicle structure, it can be easily turned up by the bending of the joining member, and the restoration work is also uneven at the connection part of the vehicle surface layer material. It is possible to perform it with good appearance without causing trouble and the like.

Moreover, consolidated unit, becomes to have a ridge that protrudes to the opposite exterior surface, the first joint of surface layer material for two vehicles, when bonding the second bonding portion, the surface layer material for a vehicle It is possible to position the projecting portion against the protruding portion, and it is possible to improve the appearance.

In addition, when a plurality of the groove portions are provided, the first joint portion and the second joint portion can be displaced to a more bent state, so that the vehicle surface layer material can be more fitted to the vehicle structure and the appearance can be improved. Improvements can be made.

In addition, it is preferable that the first joint portion and the second joint portion are formed in a curved shape having a convex appearance side. If comprised in this way, the front-end | tip part of a 1st junction part and a 2nd junction part can be made to contact | abut to the external surface of a surface material for vehicles, and even if it is a case where a connection part bends, it will follow the bending. Thus, it is possible to maintain a state in which the tip end portions of the first joint portion and the second joint portion are brought into contact with the external surface of the vehicle surface material. Thereby, it can prevent that a clearance gap produces between the front-end | tip part of a 1st junction part and a 2nd junction part, and the external appearance surface of a vehicle surface layer material, and can maintain favorable appearance.

In addition, it is preferable that the first joint portion and the second joint portion are formed so as to be sewn in a state where the first joint portion and the second joint portion are overlapped with the end of the vehicle surface layer material.
Further, when the joining member is formed of a flexible material, the first joining portion and the second joining portion can be easily displaced in a bent state, and the twisting direction or the like can be reduced when the joining member is attached to the vehicle structure. Even if an external force in the bending direction is applied, it is possible to bend and follow these, so that the external shape of the vehicle structure can be fitted.

Moreover, the said connection part can be used for the suspension part of skins, such as a cushion body, by forming the protrusion for suspension protruding to the vehicle structure side. In this case, since a member such as a hanging string can be omitted, the manufacturing cost can be reduced and the appearance can be improved.

According to the joint member for a vehicle surface layer material of the present invention, the connection portion connects the first joint portion and the second joint portion to which the vehicle surface layer material is attached, and the connection portion is configured to be able to bend. Therefore, the vehicle surface layer material can be attached in a state adapted to the external shape of the vehicle structure, and the external appearance can be improved.

Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. The members, arrangements, and the like described below are not intended to limit the present invention and can be variously modified within the scope of the gist of the present invention. In addition, the same code | symbol is attached | subjected to the same component as a prior art example, and the overlapping description is abbreviate | omitted.

1 to 3 relate to an embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 1 is an explanatory view of a vehicle seat to which a joining member is applied, FIG. 2 is a sectional explanatory view of the joining member, and FIG. FIG.
4 and 5 are cross-sectional explanatory views of a joining member according to another embodiment of the present invention.

This embodiment is an example in which the joining member of the vehicle surface layer material of the present invention is applied to a carpet (riser carpet) 7 as a vehicle surface material at the lower part of the vehicle seat 10 as shown in FIG.
The vehicle seat 10 of this example includes a seat cushion portion 11, a backrest portion 12, and a headrest portion 13. The seat cushion portion 11 is attached to a riser panel 6 disposed on the vehicle body floor 3. Yes.

A part of the vehicle body floor 3, the standing part 4 and the riser panel 6 as a vehicle structure is covered with a carpet 7. As a result, heat and noise from the engine room located at the lower part of the vehicle body floor 3 are cut off and the appearance is improved.
In the present invention, the vehicle structure is not limited to the vehicle body floor 3 and the like, but includes a member constituting the vehicle 1 and general mounted items of the vehicle 1.

As shown in FIG. 2, the carpet 7 of this example includes a carpet 7 </ b> A that covers the standing portion 4, and a carpet 7 </ b> B that covers the vehicle body floor 3 and the riser panel 6 that is not shown in the vicinity of the end 3 b ( The corner portion formed by the vehicle body floor 3 and the standing portion 4 is joined by the joining member 20, and a dividing line is formed in the vicinity of the end portion 3 b of the vehicle body floor 3.

As shown in FIG. 2, the joining member 20 of this example is a long and flexible member formed by extruding resin, and joins the ends of carpets 7A and 7B, which are vehicle surface materials. To do. In this example, it is made of a flexible material such as PVC.
The joining member 20 of the present example includes a first joining portion 21 that is sewn with the sewing thread 27 in a state of covering the appearance surface (the upper side surface of FIGS. 2 and 3) along the end of the carpet 7A, and the carpet 7B. A second joint 22 that is sewn with the sewing thread 27 in a state of covering the external surface along the terminal, and a connecting part 23 that connects the first joint 21 and the second joint 22 along the longitudinal direction thereof. It is constituted by.

As shown in FIG. 3 (A), in this example, the connecting portion 23 is on the side opposite to the outer appearance surface (the body floor 3, the standing portion 4, etc.) from the ends of the first joint portion 21 and the second joint portion 22, respectively. Legs 23c extend obliquely downward so as to incline toward the opposite joint side toward the vehicle structure side to be covered (the lower side in FIG. 3), and the leg portions 23c are connected to each other. Convex ridges 23a projecting toward the outer surface are formed. Thereby, the connection part 23 is formed in the cross-sectional substantially V shape as a whole.
A plurality of groove portions 23b are formed along the longitudinal direction on the external surface side of the ridges 23a. In this example, a plurality of groove portions 23b are used. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and one or more groove portions 23b may be formed.

The first joint portion 21 and the second joint portion 22 are formed substantially line-symmetrically with the connecting portion 23 as the center. The 1st junction part 21 and the 2nd junction part 22 are extended in the outer side from the coupling | bond part with the leg part 23c, and are formed in the cross-sectional curved shape from which an external surface side becomes convex shape. That is, the 1st junction part 21 and the 2nd junction part 22 are formed in thin plate shape, and it curves so that an outer side edge part may respectively approach the vehicle structure side.

The carpets 7 </ b> A and 7 </ b> B are stitched together by the first joint 21, the second joint 22, and the sewing thread 27 in a state where the outer surface side is in contact with the lower surfaces of the first joint 21 and the second joint 22. Yes. In the joining member 20 of this example, since the protruding line 23a is formed so as to protrude toward the anti-appearance surface side, when the carpets 7A and 7B are stitched to the first joining portion 21 and the second joining portion 22, respectively, Positioning can be performed by bringing the end portions of the carpets 7A and 7B into contact with the outer surfaces of the leg portions 23c.

Further, since the outer end portions of the first joint portion 21 and the second joint portion 22 are curved so as to approach the vehicle structure side, the first joint portion 21 and the second joint portion are sewn when stitched with the carpets 7A and 7B. The lower end of the outer end portion of the portion 22 is pressed against the exterior surface of the carpets 7A and 7B. Thereby, it is hard to produce a clearance gap between the 1st junction part 21, the 2nd junction part 22, and carpet 7A, 7B.
In this example, the carpets 7A and 7B and the first joint portion 21 and the second joint portion 22 are stitched. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and the carpets may be joined by an adhesive or the like.

As shown in FIG. 3B, the joining member 20 of this example is formed so that the connecting portion 23 can expand in the width direction. That is, since the joining member 20 is formed of a flexible material, when the pulling force is applied to the carpets 7A and 7B, the leg portion 23c expands and the first joining portion 21 and the second joining portion 22 are expanded. It is possible to displace the angle formed by. Further, when an external force is applied to the joining member 20 in a direction in which the two leg portions 23c are narrowed (a direction in which the angle formed by the leg portions 23c is reduced), the joining member 20 is narrowed between the leg portions 23c and the first joining portion 21 is formed. And the second joint portion 22 are displaced so as to approach each other.

In this way, the joining member 20 of the present example can join the carpet 7A and 7B at the ends of the carpet 7A and 7B so that the carpet 7A can be bent and adjusted, so that the carpet 7 is connected to the vehicle floor 3 as shown in FIG. The three-dimensional shape formed by the standing portion 4 can be fitted to improve the appearance.

Furthermore, since the joining member 20 of this example is formed of a flexible material, when an external force in a bending direction or a twisting direction is applied to the longitudinal direction of the joining member 20, the first joining portion 21 and the second joining portion 20 The joint 22 is partially expanded and contracted. For this reason, even if the end portion of the vehicle body floor 3 is not linear but curved or bent, it can be expanded and contracted by fitting to these shapes. As a result, wrinkles, twists, etc. are not formed on the carpet 7 particularly at the corners, and it is possible to maintain a good appearance.

Further, since the joining member 20 of the present example holds the carpets 7A and 7B so that they can be flexibly bent by the connecting portion 23, the work of attaching to the vehicle structure such as the vehicle body floor 3 and the standing portion 4 becomes easy. Further, by using the joining member 20 of the present example, it becomes easy to turn up the carpet 7 when accessing the engine room, and when the turned-up carpet 7 is returned to the original state, irregularities and partial depressions are formed. Deterioration of appearance such as occurrence can be prevented.

As described above, the joining member 20 of the present example can improve the appearance by preventing the sewn portion accumulation of the thick surface layer material such as the carpet material. Further, due to the flexibility and softness of the joining member 20, it is also effective for opening the seam portion when the surface layer material is pulled.

The joining member 20 of the present invention can be modified as follows. In addition, the same code | symbol is attached | subjected to the same component as the said embodiment, and the overlapping description is abbreviate | omitted.
The joining member 20 shown in FIG. 4 (A) is an example in which three groove portions 23b are formed on the external surface side of the connecting portion 23 and two groove portions 23d are formed on the vehicle structure side. The groove 23d is formed along the longitudinal direction at the top of the ridge 23a.

In this example, since the plurality of groove portions 23b and 23d are formed on the upper and lower surfaces of the connecting portion 23 as described above, the first joining portion 21 and the second connecting portion 21 can be more flexibly expanded in the width direction. The angle formed by the joint portion 22 can be adjusted according to the external force. Thereby, the joining member 20 of this example can improve the appearance by adapting the carpet 7 to the appearance of the vehicle structure to be covered.

In addition, the joining member 20 shown in FIG. 4B extends the first joining portion 21 and the second joining portion 22 from the end portion of the connecting portion 23 substantially horizontally, and the respective end portions 21a and 22a are connected to the vehicle. It is an example bent to the structure side.
In this way, the end portions 21a and 22a are curved toward the vehicle structure side, and the first joint portion 21 and the second joint portion 22 as a whole have a curved sectional shape that is convex toward the external surface side. The leading end portions of the first joining portion 21 and the second joining portion 22 can be brought into close contact with the appearance surface of the carpet 7.

Thereby, even if the carpet 7 is disposed in the vehicle structure in a state where the carpet 7 is bent at the position of the joining member 20, the leading ends of the first joining portion 21 and the second joining portion 22 are separated from the appearance surface of the carpet 7. Thus, it is possible to reliably prevent a gap from being generated. Thereby, it is possible to maintain the appearance in the vicinity of the joining member 20 satisfactorily.

The joining member 20 shown in FIG. 5 is an example in which a protrusion 23e for suspension is formed from the top of the ridge 23a of the connecting portion 23 to the vehicle structure side, as shown in FIG. The hanging protrusions 23e may be formed along the longitudinal direction of the ridges 23a, or a plurality of narrow protrusions may be formed at predetermined intervals in the longitudinal direction.
In this example, the joining member 20 is applied to the seat cushion part 11 or the backrest part 12. As shown in FIG. 5B, the first joint portion 21 and the second joint portion 22 of the joining member 20 are respectively stitched with the end portion of the skin material 14 as the vehicle surface material, and the hanging projection 23e is a cushion. The material 15 is inserted into a recess 15 a formed in the suspended portion. A suspension locking wire 16 and the like are embedded in the lower part of the bottom surface of the recess 15a. The locking wire 16 and the suspension projection 23e are engaged by a suspension locking member 17 such as a C ring, and positioning and suspension are performed. Is included.

Thus, since the joining member 20 of this example can be used for suspension of a sheet | seat skin and does not require members, such as a suspension string, manufacturing cost can be reduced. Further, since two sewing lines (double stitches) by the sewing thread 27 are formed in the first joint portion 21 and the second joint portion 22 of the joining member 20, it is possible to improve the appearance of the appearance.
