このような床下換気工法を採る場合には、布基礎と土台との間隙から鼠が床下に侵入するのを防がなければならない。この為、従来は水切り材の前垂れ部の下端から水平方向に防鼠部を連設し、板面に形成された多数の孔から空気のみを通し、鼠の通過を阻止する方式を採っている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところが、前記の従来のような前垂れ部の下端に防鼠部を連設した場合には、防鼠部の奥端が布基礎の表面と当接するようになる。ここで布基礎がていねいに仕上げ施工されていれば問題はないが、通常、布基礎はコンクリートの現場打ちで施工される為、仕上げ精度は悪く、表面には凹凸があって不陸が発生していることが多い。この為、この布基礎の表面に防鼠板の端を当接させると、その不陸によって水切り材全体に撓みが生じ、仕上がり具合が悪くなって、外観体裁を損なうことになる。

本発明は、このような点に鑑み、布基礎の不陸による影響を受けることなく、常にきれいに施工仕上げのできる水切り材を提供するにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明の水切り材の技術的手段は、取付部、雨水案内部、前垂れ部を有する水切り材本体と、通気孔を有する防鼠部とからなる床下換気工法用の水切り材に於いて、水切り材本体と防鼠部とは、弾性を有する、1枚の板金を折返して、取付部が2重になるように加工して製作され、水切り材本体は、取付部の下端から屈曲させて雨水案内部が形成され、更に、雨水案内部の前端から屈曲させて前垂れ部が形成され、防鼠部は、水切り材本体の前垂れ部の背後に位置し、2重となった他方の取付部の下端から屈曲させ、片持ち状態で連設されており、更に、防鼠部は弾性によって、使用状態では、片持ち状態で下端が布基礎に当接するようになることにある。
