Description

The present invention relates to a slitter device for a rotary press and a rotary press provided with the slitter device, and more particularly, an inclined surface from one side on the upstream side to the top on the downstream side, capable of forming a fold parallel to the running direction on continuous paper. In the former of the continuous paper longitudinal folding mechanism provided with a member (hereinafter, referred to as a former) having slidable in parallel with one side of the upstream side, the former is directed from the upstream side toward the downstream side. The present invention relates to a slitter device capable of cutting along a traveling direction a portion passing through the top portion (hereinafter referred to as a former nose) of continuous paper that travels, and a rotary press equipped with the slitter device.

In recent years, a rotary press that handles continuous paper is required to be able to print and process on continuous paper of multiple widths in order to increase the operating efficiency of the rotary press. Various devices such as a device such as a mechanism and a device for adjusting a position of the paper pressing roller to the drag roller in the folding unit have been made. In addition, the continuous paper vertical folding mechanism is provided side by side in the width direction of the continuous paper, and the continuous continuous paper vertical folding mechanism that is provided side by side is divided into continuous continuous paper obtained by cutting and dividing the continuous paper in parallel with the length direction In so-called double-width rotary presses and triple-width rotary presses that are guided, it is also required that they can be printed and processed on a plurality of continuous papers. In such a rotary press, a mechanism is required to allow the central portion of each divided continuous paper to pass through the former nose so that the central portion in the width direction of each divided continuous paper becomes a vertical fold. One of the mechanisms is a mechanism (prior art 1) disclosed in Patent Document 1 (Japanese Patent No. 2676327), for example. The mechanism disclosed in Patent Document 1 is provided with a former and a pair of nipping rollers provided below the former in a movable frame, and the movable frame is arranged with respect to the apparatus main body in accordance with the width of the continuous paper. It can be moved in the direction. Further, in order to avoid interference of the approaching portion on the upstream side of the former during such movement, for example, a mechanism (prior art 2) shown in Patent Document 2 (Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 48-20576) is disclosed. In addition, the upstream side portion of the former can be removed and attached, or can be folded and unfolded by a hinge.

On the other hand, with the demand for diversification of the signature format, for example, Patent Document 3 (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2-295959) discloses that the continuous paper or the divided continuous paper that has been vertically folded by the former former is changed to the vertical folding. A slitter mechanism that cuts the continuous paper or the divided continuous paper that runs along the former at the center in the width direction so that it is possible to perform the process of cutting and overlapping in the vertical direction along the portion to be a fold. Prior art 3) is proposed. In the slitter mechanism shown in Patent Document 3, a rod is provided close to a surface (former front surface) on the side where the continuous paper of the former travels, and the rod has a position through which a center line in the width direction of the former passes. A cutting wheel (cutting blade) that can be applied to the former as needed is provided at an opposing position, and the continuous paper that runs along the former by applying the cutting wheel to the former or the former or The divided continuous paper is cut in the vertical direction along a portion that is aligned with the center line in the width direction of the former during traveling, that is, a portion that should be a crease when vertically folded by the former.
Japanese Patent No. 2676327 Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 48-20576 Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2-29559

However, each of the conventional techniques has the following problems. That is, Prior Art 1 shows a mechanism that can move the former and a pair of nipping rollers provided below the former in the width direction of the continuous paper, but the continuous paper that runs along the former. Alternatively, there is no description about the presence or absence of means for cutting the divided continuous paper in the vertical direction.

In the prior art 2, when the former is moved, part of the former is removed and attached, or part of the former is folded and unfolded manually. It took a lot of work time and hindered automation. Further, when the width of the continuous paper to be processed is various as in recent years, it is necessary to prepare a corresponding number of members to be removed and attached, or folding positions. It was impossible to handle continuous paper with width.

Although the prior art 3 can cut the continuous paper traveling along the former at the center in the width direction, it does not describe the movement of the former in the width direction of the continuous paper. In addition, since the cutting wheel is always in a position close to the front surface of the former, it is a great obstacle when performing operations on the front surface of the former, for example, paper threading operations.

Even if the techniques shown in the prior art 1, the prior art 2 and the prior art 3 are combined to devise a new mechanism, the mechanism has not been solved to solve the problems of the conventional techniques.

The present invention can move the former in the width direction of the continuous paper, and can vertically fold a portion of the continuous paper that runs toward the former nose along the former and passes through the former nose. In the continuous paper vertical folding mechanism, instead of vertical folding, it is possible to cut in the vertical direction along the portion to be a crease, and as the former moves in the width direction of the continuous paper, An object of the present invention is to provide a slitter device capable of moving the continuous paper in the width direction without changing the positional relationship. That is, according to the present invention, in a rotary press that processes a continuous paper by dividing it into two along the length direction, the continuous paper is processed at the center position in the width direction of the continuous paper after being divided into two according to the change in the width dimension of the continuous paper. It is an object of the present invention to provide a slitter device that can vertically fold and continuously execute the vertical folding process of the continuous paper and the cutting process of cutting the continuous paper in the vertical direction. Another object of the present invention is to provide a slitter device that can be retracted to a position where the front surface of the former is opened away from the front surface of the former so that the work is not hindered when working on the front surface of the former such as paper threading. To do. The present invention also provides a continuous paper vertical folding mechanism provided with the slitter device arranged side by side in the width direction of the continuous paper, and includes a former so as to match the change in the width dimension of the continuous paper to be processed. It is an object of the present invention to provide a rotary press configured to be capable of moving to any desired position.

The slitter device of the present invention has an inclined surface from one side on the upstream side to the top on the downstream side, which can form a crease parallel to the running direction on the continuous paper, and is movable in parallel with the one side on the upstream side. A slitter device capable of cutting along a traveling direction a portion passing through the top of continuous paper that travels from the upstream side to the downstream side of the inclined surface of the continuous paper vertical folding mechanism provided. And includes a part of a straight line on the inclined surface that is perpendicular to one side of the upstream side and overlaps the top of the downstream side, and is driven and rotated by a slit provided on the inclined surface in parallel with the straight line. A slitter knife mechanism provided in the continuous paper vertical folding mechanism so that a cutting edge of the slitter knife can pass through the slit and protrude from the inclined surface; and a groove on the outer peripheral surface; The blade holder is provided so as to be capable of rolling, and the groove of the blade holder is movable between an operating position for receiving the cutting edge of the slitter knife exposed through the slit and a retracted position for opening the inclined surface. And a blade receiving mechanism provided in the continuous paper vertical folding mechanism.

Preferably, in the slitter device of the present invention, the slit provided in the inclined surface is provided in a lid member provided so as to be able to be removed by closing a notch hole provided in the inclined surface.

Preferably, in the slitter device of the present invention, the blade receiving mechanism is provided to be able to stop the blade receiver at an intermediate position in the vicinity of the operation position.

Further, the rotary press of the present invention has an inclined surface that can form a crease parallel to the running direction on the continuous paper, and moves in parallel to the upstream side, from the upstream side to the top of the downstream side. A rotary press provided with a continuous paper vertical folding mechanism that is provided adjacent to and parallel to the one side of the upstream side, wherein the members forming the inclined surfaces of the continuous paper vertical folding mechanism are adjacent to each other. Are provided so that the continuous paper vertical folding mechanisms provided adjacent to each other can move in a direction approaching each other, and the slitting device of the present invention is provided in each continuous paper vertical folding mechanism.

According to the present invention, the former can be moved in the width direction of the continuous paper, and the continuous paper that runs toward the former nose along the former can be vertically folded at a portion passing through the former nose. In the paper vertical folding mechanism, the slitter knife mechanism and blade receiving mechanism that cuts in the vertical direction along the part that should be creased instead of vertical folding are positioned relative to the former when moving the former in the width direction of the continuous paper. It is possible to move in the width direction of continuous paper without changing the relationship. After moving the two mechanisms, the positional relationship between the slitter knife and the blade receiver, and the positional relationship between the former nose and the slitter knife ( In other words, it is possible to eliminate the adjustment work to precisely adjust the cutting position of the continuous paper with the slitter knife and the positional relationship of the former nose. , Significantly improved the efficiency of the work according to the movement of the former.

In addition, since the blade support placed on the front of the former can be retracted to the position where the front of the former is opened, the work on the front of the former such as paper threading can be performed smoothly without any interruption, and the efficiency of the work Will not worsen.

Further, the present invention provides a notch hole in a portion where the slitter of the former is provided, that is, a portion where the slitter knife and the blade receiver are provided across the former, and the notch hole is closed with a removable lid member. did. Therefore, according to the present invention, it is possible to very easily replace the slitter knife provided on the back side of the former by removing the lid member from the front side of the former.

Further, the present invention selectively switches between the longitudinal folding processing mode of continuous paper by the former and the cutting mode for cutting the portion that becomes the longitudinal fold, the change in appearance of the slitter knife from the front of the former, and the working position of the blade rest. It can be easily achieved only by switching the movement between intermediate positions near the action position. Therefore, according to the present invention, there is no need to apply unnecessary load to the continuous paper traveling along the former in the vertical folding processing mode, and it is necessary to displace the blade rest unnecessarily greatly when the mode is switched. Absent.

Furthermore, according to the present invention, the movement adjustment of the continuous paper vertical folding mechanism including the former to the desired and arbitrary position in line with the change in the width dimension of the continuous paper to be processed can be performed without replacing parts or the like. In addition, it can be performed in a short time, and automatic movement adjustment via an appropriate driving device can be easily performed. As a result, a rotary press with extremely good adjustment efficiency can be obtained.

Next, the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings showing embodiments of the present invention. FIG. 1 is a partial sectional side view of a continuous paper longitudinal folding mechanism 70 provided with a slitter device 10 according to the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a view taken along the line II-II of the slitter device in FIG. FIG. 3 is a schematic view corresponding to the view of the continuous paper longitudinal folding mechanism 70 in FIG. In FIG. 3, only the portion related to the continuous paper vertical folding mechanism 70 of the rotary press provided adjacent to the continuous paper vertical folding mechanism 70 provided with the slitter device 10 is continuous paper W having different widths, that is, continuous paper having the maximum width La. It is shown in association with a continuous paper Wb having Wa and a minimum width Lb.

The slitter apparatus 10 is provided in the continuous paper vertical folding mechanism 70 provided in the folding part of a rotary press. The slitter device 10 includes a former 71 that is a member having an inclined surface 74 that can form a fold parallel to the running direction on the continuous paper W and that extends from the upstream side 72 toward the former nose 73 that is the top of the downstream side. Prepare. Further, the slitter device 10 includes a slit 79 provided in the former 71, a slitter knife mechanism 20 and a blade receiving mechanism 30 provided in the continuous paper vertical folding mechanism 70.

The slit 79 includes a part of the straight line CL (see FIG. 3) on the inclined surface 74 that is perpendicular to the upstream side 72 of the former 71 and overlaps the downstream former nose 73, and is provided from upstream to downstream. It is done. In the illustrated embodiment, the inclined surface 74 is provided with a substantially rectangular cutout hole 76 that penetrates the plate-like member 75 that forms the inclined surface 74, and the cutout hole 76 is closed with a thin plate 77. A slit 79 is provided therethrough.

The thin plate 77 is detachably screwed to the plate-like member 75 and forms a part of the inclined surface 74 in a screwed state. When the slitter knife 21 of the slitter knife mechanism 20 provided on the back side of the plate-like member 75, which will be described later, is replaced, the thin plate 77 is removed from the plate-like member 75, and the slitter knife 21 is started from the inclined surface 74 side. Can be exchanged.

The slitter knife mechanism 20 includes a slitter knife 21 attached to an output shaft of a speed reduction mechanism 23 provided in the prime mover 22, and the slitter knife 21 is driven by the prime mover 22 via the speed reduction mechanism 23 to rotate. The prime mover 22 is attached to the back side of the plate-like member 75 of the former 71, that is, on the opposite side of the inclined surface 74 via a telescopic actuator 24 that is, for example, an air cylinder. It is movable so as to be closer to the back side of 75. When the prime mover 22 is attached as described above, the output shaft of the speed reduction mechanism 23 is arranged parallel to the inclined surface 74 and perpendicular to the slit 79, and the cutting edge of the slitter knife 21 is the width of the former 71. In the direction, the position is aligned with the straight line CL on the inclined surface 74 of the former 71. Therefore, the slitter knife 21 moves in and out of the inclined surface 74 of the former 71 through the slit 79 and moves on the inclined surface 74 by the movement of the prime mover 22 by the operation of the expansion and contraction actuator 24, and the blade tip of the slitter knife 21 is exposed. The position coincides with the straight line CL on the inclined surface 74. In the illustrated embodiment, the slitter knife 21 is a single blade.

The blade receiving mechanism 30 is an air cylinder, for example, on the free end side of the arm 33 that is provided above the side portion of the inclined surface 74 and can be angularly displaced about an axis parallel to the straight line CL on the inclined surface 74. A blade receiver 31 is provided that is attached via a telescopic actuator 32. The arm 33 is provided at one side in the longitudinal direction so as to be angularly displaceable on the bracket 36 via a pin 37 provided in parallel with the straight line CL on the inclined surface 74.

On the other side in the longitudinal direction of the arm 33, that is, on the free end side, a blade receiver 31 supported rotatably around a pin 40 parallel to the output shaft of the speed reduction mechanism 23 is attached via a telescopic actuator 32. In addition, the free end side of the telescopic rod of the telescopic actuator 34, which is an air cylinder, for example, is mounted on the opposite side of the mounting side of the blade receiver 31 in parallel with the pin 37 so that it can be angularly displaced. ing. The tail portion of the telescopic actuator 34 is attached to a position closer to the inclined surface 74 than the pin 37 of the bracket 36 via a pin 39 provided in parallel with the pin 37 so as to be angularly displaceable. The bracket 36 is attached to the back side of the plate-like member 75 and should overhang the side portion of the plate-like member 75 around one side of the inclined surface 74 while avoiding the traveling area of the side end portion of the continuous paper W. It is attached to the overhang portion of the source bracket 35. The arm 33 is moved between a position that is substantially parallel to the inclined surface 74 and a position that is substantially perpendicular to the inclined surface 74 by the expansion and contraction of the expansion / contraction rod of the expansion / contraction actuator 34. Angular displacement occurs around the pin 37.

Further, the blade receiver 31 attached to the arm 33 via the telescopic actuator 32 has the extension of the telescopic rod of the telescopic actuator 32 when the arm 33 is in a position substantially parallel to the inclined surface 74. The operation position where the outer peripheral surface of the blade receiver 31 comes into contact with the thin plate 77 forming the inclined surface 74 by the retraction operation, and the middle of the vicinity of the operation position separated from the thin plate 77 by the amount of contraction of the telescopic rod of the telescopic actuator 32. Can move and stop between positions. The blade receiver 31 is provided with a groove that goes around the outer peripheral surface, and the blade receiver 31 has a cutting edge of the slitter knife 21 in which the groove passes through the slit 79 and is exposed from the inclined surface of the thin plate 77 in the working position. Is arranged so that the one side wall of the groove and the rear surface of the slitter knife 21 face each other with a minute gap therebetween.

When the arm 33 is in a position that is substantially perpendicular to the inclined surface 74, the blade receiver 31 is disposed at a retracted position spaced apart from the upper side of the inclined surface 74. The bracket 36 is provided with stopper bolts 43 and 44 through brackets 41 and 42, respectively. The stopper bolts 43 and 44 are arms that are extended and retracted by the extension / contraction rod of the extension / contraction actuator 34, respectively. The angular displacement range of 33 is regulated.

A rotary press (not shown) according to the present invention is configured by including an appropriate number of sheet feeding units, printing units, and folding units, all not shown, and a plurality of (with the slitter device 10 provided in the folding unit (not shown). For example, two continuous paper vertical folding mechanisms 70 are provided such that the upstream side 72 of the former 71 is arranged in parallel with the width direction of the continuous paper W and the upstream side 72 is arranged next to each other. The continuous paper Wa having the maximum width La that can be printed, the continuous paper Wb having the minimum width Lb, and the continuous paper W having any paper width between the maximum width La and the minimum width Lb are provided. That is, in the rotary press according to the present invention, the two continuous paper vertical folding mechanisms 70 can be fed so that the printed continuous paper W can be fed to the formers 71 of the two continuous paper vertical folding mechanisms 70. On the upstream side, a drag roller DR and a center slitter mechanism CS (see FIG. 3) are provided. Further, the two continuous paper vertical folding mechanisms 70 are arranged in parallel with the longitudinal direction at the center position in the width direction of each of the two continuous paper W1 or W2 fed by being divided into two by the drag roller DR and the center slitter mechanism CS. When the continuous paper W is the continuous paper Wa having the maximum width La so that it can be folded or cut, the straight line CL on the inclined surface 74 of the former 71 of each continuous paper vertical folding mechanism 70 is divided into two and fed. When the continuous paper W is a continuous paper Wb having the minimum width Lb, the two continuous papers Wa1 or Wa2 are aligned with each other on the inclined surface 74 of the former 71 of each continuous paper vertical folding mechanism 70. The straight line CL is provided so that it can be aligned with the center position in the width direction of the two-split continuous paper Wb1 or Wb2 that is split and fed.

In detail, the two continuous paper vertical folding mechanisms 70 are formed by cutting each former 71 from the upstream side adjacent to each other (see FIG. 3). A frame mechanism 78 is provided with a space that can move in a direction approaching each other, and a forming roller 81 (see FIG. 3) provided with a former nose 73 interposed therebetween and a nipping roller (not shown) provided therebelow. And the frame mechanism 78 approaches the center MC in the width direction of the rotary press by the same amount by a known moving mechanism such as the mechanism of the prior art 1 or a mechanism similar to the mechanism of the prior art 1. Alternatively, it is selectively movable so as to be separated from each other.

The length in the width direction of the portion where the former 71 is notched is the distance from the width direction center MC of the rotary press to the center position in the width direction of the two-part continuous paper Wa1 or Wa2 formed from the maximum width continuous paper Wa. And the distance from the center MC in the width direction of the rotary press (see FIG. 3) to the center position in the width direction of the two-part continuous paper Wb1 or Wb2 formed from the minimum width continuous paper Wb, that is, (La−Lb) It is set to be equal to or slightly larger than / 4.

The operation of the embodiment described above is performed as follows. Before starting the printing operation on the rotary press, for example, in a rotary press provided with two continuous paper vertical folding mechanisms 70, two continuous paper vertical folds are made in accordance with the width of the continuous paper W used in the printing operation. The folding mechanisms 70 are respectively moved in parallel with the upstream side 72 of the former 71 to align the former nose 73 of each former 71 with a predetermined position. That is, each of the two continuous paper vertical folding mechanisms 70 is divided into two divided continuous papers that travel by the former nose 73 of the former 71 of each continuous paper vertical folding mechanism 70 being cut by the center slitter mechanism CS during printing operation. It moves and stops until it becomes a position aligned with the center position in the width direction of W1 and W2. Next, continuous paper is passed from an appropriate paper feeding unit to the printing unit used in the printing operation of the rotary press, and further, the paper is passed from the printing unit to the folding unit. During this paper threading, the blade receiver 31 of the slitter device 10 is retracted to the retracted position so that the front of the inclined surface 74 of the former 71 is opened so as not to interfere with the paper threading of the continuous paper vertical folding mechanism 70 to the former 71. Keep it. That is, by extending the telescopic rod of the telescopic actuator 34, the arm 33 is angularly displaced to a position where the arm 33 is regulated by the stopper bolt 43 and becomes substantially perpendicular to the inclined surface 74, and is attached to the arm 33. The blade receiver 31 is retracted to the retracted position. At this time, it is desirable that the telescopic rod of the telescopic actuator 32 interposed between the arm 33 and the blade receiver 31 is retracted. After the paper threading is completed, the telescopic rod of the telescopic actuator 34 is retracted, and the arm 33 is angularly displaced to a position where the arm 33 is regulated by the stopper bolt 44 and substantially parallel to the inclined surface 74.

Further, when the printing operation is an operation of further dividing the divided continuous papers W1 and W2 into two, it is preceded by the retracting operation of the telescopic rod of the telescopic actuator 34 or the contracting operation of the telescopic rod of the telescopic actuator 34. Then, the prime mover 22 is started and the slitter knife 21 is rotated at a predetermined rotation speed via the speed reduction mechanism 23. The rotation speed of the slitter knife 21 is determined to be faster than the traveling speed of the divided continuous papers W1 and W2, but is set to increase as the traveling speed of the divided continuous papers W1 and W2 increases. Alternatively, it may be set so that the blade tip displacement speed is faster than the maximum traveling speed of the continuous continuous paper W1, W2.

Next, the rotary press is started and the continuous paper W and the divided continuous papers W1 and W2 are run. First, the telescopic rod of the telescopic actuator 32 is extended to move the blade receiver 31 to the operating position. As a result of this movement, the peripheral edge of the blade receiver 31 contacts the inclined surface 74 of the former 71 via the divided continuous paper W1 or W2, and the traveling movement of the divided continuous paper W1 or W2 interposed between the inclined surface 74 is performed. Follow along.

Subsequently, the telescopic rod of the telescopic actuator 24 is retracted, and the slitter knife 21 is moved together with the prime mover 22 and the speed reduction mechanism 23 in a direction approaching the back side of the plate-like member 75. By this movement, the cutting edge of the slitter knife 21 is exposed from the inclined surface 74 through the slit 79 provided in the thin plate 77, that is, the slit 79 provided in the former 71 in a rotated state. The divided continuous paper W1 or W2 pressed against the inclined surface 74 of 71 is cut into the groove of the blade receiver 31 while being cut. That is, the slitter knife 21 cuts a portion of the divided continuous paper W1 or W2 that passes through the former nose 73 along the traveling direction.

On the other hand, when the printing operation is an operation of folding the divided continuous papers W1 and W2 into two by the continuous paper vertical folding mechanism 70 (longitudinal folding processing), starting of the prime mover 22 for rotating the slitter knife 21, blades The extension operation of the extension / contraction rod of the extension / contraction actuator 32 for moving the receiver 31 to the operating position and the contraction operation of the extension / contraction rod of the extension / contraction actuator 24 for exposing the slitter knife 21 to the inclined surface 74 from the slit 79 are stopped. In this state, the continuous paper W and the divided continuous papers W1 and W2 are run. When the center in the width direction of the divided continuous papers W1 and W2 passes through the former nose 73, the former nose 73 folds the divided continuous papers W1 and W2 in two.

The rotary press is gradually increased in both the operation of further dividing the divided continuous papers W1 and W2 into two and the operation of folding the divided continuous papers W1 and W2, and the divided continuous paper W1, In the operation of further dividing W2 into two, it is preferable that the cutting edge of the slitter knife 21 is received in the groove of the blade receiver 31 during the low-speed operation.

INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY The present invention can be used for a slitter device for a rotary press and a rotary press equipped with the slitter device, and in particular, a slitter device for a rotary press capable of handling a plurality of continuous papers having different width dimensions and a plurality of different width sizes. It can be used as a rotary press that can handle continuous paper.
