BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a cap in which a circumferential band is connected to the cap body via a bridging portion, and the circumferential band is cut off at the time of opening to achieve a tamper evident function (tamper evidence). The present invention relates to an improvement for reducing the opening torque and improving the easy opening performance in a cap in which the circumferential band is locked to the container mouth portion via both ratchets.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Plastic caps that use a tamper-evident function (tamper evidence) by detaching the circumferential band are common today, and for locking or fixing the circumferential band in this cap, in addition to the ratchet method described above, A method of engaging the flap piece provided on the circumferential band under the chin of the container neck with the flap piece folded upward, the container neck with the fin provided on the circumferential band protruding radially inward and obliquely A method of engaging under the chin is known.
[0003]
Among these methods, in the ratchet method, the circumferential band is fixed to the container mouth portion by the circumferential engagement between the ratchet claw of the container neck and the ratchet piece inside the circumferential band. This has the advantage that the vertical stroke required to break the wire is relatively short.
[0004]
Japanese Patent No. 2907064 discloses a cap body having a top wall and a cylinder part extending from the peripheral edge of the top wall, and a cylindrical shape that hangs down from the extension end of the cylinder part via a plurality of bridges. In the cap having the pilfer proof characteristic having the skirt wall, the skirt wall slides with each other when opening the cap at a portion facing the bridge-side end portion and the cylindrical portion end portion. A cam having an inclined surface for guiding the skirt wall and the cap body in a direction away from each other is provided, and at least a surface opposite to the inclined surface of the cam formed on the skirt wall extends in a substantially vertical direction. And at least one of the bridges has a fragile portion on the skirt wall side, and is broken at the fragile portion when the cap is opened, and the lead Cap having a pilfer-proof characteristics, characterized by being configured to reach the surface opposite the position is described.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The inclined surface of the cam in the cap of the above type engages with each other when the cap is opened to separate the cap body and the cylindrical skirt wall (band). In many cases, the bridge cutting torque at the start of opening of the plug shows a large value of, for example, 14 kgf · cm, and further improvement is desired in terms of easy opening.
[0006]
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a ratchet-type tamper-evident cap that reduces the bridge cutting torque at the time of opening and improves the easy opening property.
[0007]

The ratchet pawl provided on the container neck and the ratchet piece on the inner surface of the circumferential band engage with each other when opening to prevent rotation of the circumferential band and fix the circumferential band to the container neck. is there.
A protrusion provided on one of the upper end surface of the circumferential band and the lower end surface of the skirt-shaped side wall and a recess provided on the other of the upper end surface of the circumferential band and the lower end surface of the skirt-shaped side wall corresponding to the protrusion The capping operation and the capping operation are performed smoothly as described below, while keeping the gap between the skirt-like side wall and the circumferential band as small as possible so that foreign matter such as dust is not easily contained.
That is, the protrusion and the concave portion are provided with upright surfaces or steep slopes facing each other and gentle slopes facing each other, and the upright surfaces or steep slopes engage with each other in the plugging direction, and are circumferential with the cap body. Rotate the band to prevent damage to the bridge. On the other hand, the gentle slopes engage with each other in the opening direction to push the circumferential band downward.

[0012]
In the cap of the present invention, the ratio of D / d is in the range of 1.3 to 2.5, particularly in the range of 1.5 to 2.0, in order to reduce the bridge cutting torque at the time of opening. preferable. As shown in an experimental example to be described later, the bridge cutting torque at the time of opening when the ratio of D / d is 0.3 is 13.94 kgf · cm, whereas the ratio of D / d is in the above range. In some cases, the bridge cutting torque during opening can be reduced to 10.68 kgf · cm.
That is, when the ratio of D / d is below the above range, the degree of reduction of the bridge cutting torque is insufficient as compared with the above range, whereas when it exceeds the above range, the size of the recess is too large. This is not preferable because foreign substances such as dust tend to adhere.
[0013]
Further, in the cap of the present invention, it is preferable from the viewpoint of easy opening that the inclination angle (θ) of the gentle slope of the protrusion and the recess is in the range of 10 to 25 degrees, particularly 12 to 20 degrees.
When this angle exceeds the above range, it is not preferable because the bridge cutting torque becomes larger than when the angle is within the above range. On the other hand, when this angle is below the above range, the circumferential band is not sufficiently depressed. Therefore, it is not preferable.
[0014]
Further, in the cap of the present invention, the movement distance (L) at which the gentle slopes of the protrusion and the recess engage with each other and the movement distance (l) at which the upright surfaces or the steep slopes of the protrusion and the recess engage with each other. The ratio (L / l) is preferably in the range of 5.5 to 10.0 for the same reason as described for the D / d ratio.
[0015]
Furthermore, a knurled groove extending in the height direction is formed on the outer surface of the skirt-shaped side wall, and each of the knurled grooves has a gentle slope extending from the top and the top in the opening direction and a steep slope extending from the top in the closed line direction. It is preferable in terms of ease of opening when the fingers are actually opened.
That is, when the skirt-like side wall is gripped by a finger, the finger surface and the knurled groove are reliably engaged in the opening direction without slipping, so that the ease of opening is reliably improved.

In the above embodiment, a protrusion is formed on the lower end surface of the upper end surface of the circumferential band, and a recess corresponding to the protrusion is formed on the lower end surface of the skirt-like side wall. This configuration is preferable because there is no protrusion at the lower end of the skirt-shaped side wall, but the above configuration is reversed, and a protrusion is formed on the lower end surface of the skirt-shaped side wall, and the upper end surface of the circumferential band is Even if the recess corresponding to the protrusion is formed, the bridge cutting torque at the time of opening can be similarly reduced.

【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention, the cap body is composed of a top plate portion and a skirt-like side wall hanging from the peripheral edge portion thereof, and a circumferential band connected to the lower end of the skirt-like side wall via a breakable bridging portion. A plurality of ratchet pieces that can engage with ratchet claws of the container neck are formed on the inner surface of the circumferential band at intervals in the circumferential direction, and the upper end surface of the circumferential band and the lower end surface of the skirt-shaped side wall are formed. A protrusion is formed on one side, and a recess corresponding to the protrusion is formed on the other of the upper end surface of the circumferential band and the lower end surface of the skirt-shaped side wall, and the protrusion and the recess are upright in the closing direction. In a plastic cap that engages between surfaces or steep slopes and engages between gentle slopes in the opening direction, the distance (D) between the gentle slopes of the projection and recess is defined as the distance between the projection and recess. Upright or sudden By set larger than the distance between face each other (d), to reduce the bridge cutting torque during cap removal, it provides a cap having improved easy-open closure properties.
