前記第1音響変換器を、データで変調された連続的な波形搬送信号で電圧を印加するための電圧印加手段と、
前記第2音響変換器によって検出された音響信号内の変調されたデータを検出するための復号器と、
を具備し、
前記第1、第2音響変換器の寸法および前記搬送信号の周波数は、前記基板を貫くトリプル・トランジット信号による干渉を少なくとも1MHzのビット・レートで前記基板を貫いた連続的なデータ通信を可能にする程度に十分に低いレベルまで減じるように選択される装置、に属する。
中実の(solid)剛体の基板の両面に搭載された第1音響変換器および第2音響変換器の間で前記基板を貫いて送信される音響信号を用いて前記基板を貫いてデータを通信するための方法であって、
(i)データで変調された連続的な波形搬送信号で前記第1変換器に電圧を印加する工程と、
(ii)前記第2変換器において、前記第1変換器によって前記基板を貫いて送信された音響信号を検出するとともにその中の変調されたデータを検出する工程と、
を具備し、
前記第1、第2変換器の寸法および前記搬送信号の周波数は、前記基板を貫くトリプル・トランジット信号による干渉を少なくとも1MHzのビット・レートで前記基板を貫いた連続的なデータ通信を可能にする程度に十分に低いレベルまで減じるように選択される方法、に属する。
Claims (9)
- 中実の(solid)剛体の基板を貫いてデータを通信するための装置であって、
前記基板の1つの面上に取り付けられた第1音響変換器と、
前記基板の第2面上に取り付けられ、前記第1音響変換器から発せられる音響信号を受信するように配置された、第2音響変換器と、
前記第1音響変換器を、データで変調された連続的な波形搬送信号で電圧を印加するための電圧印加手段と、
前記第2音響変換器によって検出された音響信号内の変調されたデータを検出するための復号器と、
を具備し、
前記第1、第2音響変換器の寸法および前記搬送信号の周波数は、前記基板を貫くトリプル・トランジット信号による干渉を少なくとも1MHzのビット・レートで前記基板を貫いた連続的なデータ通信を可能にする程度に十分に低いレベルまで減じるように選択される装置。 - 前記電圧印加手段は、25MHzおよび72MHzの間の連続的な波形搬送信号を生成するように動作可能である、請求項1の装置。
- 前記データ通信ビット・レートは、少なくとも10MHzである、請求項2の装置。
- 前記電圧印加手段は、前記第1音響変換器用の無線周波数整合回路をさらに具備する、請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項の装置。
- 前記基板は金属構造の一部である、先行する請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項の装置。
- 前記金属構造は鋼鉄の潜水艦船体である、請求項5の装置。
- 前記金属構造は加圧された容器である、請求項5の装置。
- 中実の(solid)剛体の基板の両面に搭載された第1音響変換器および第2音響変換器の間で前記基板を貫いて送信される音響信号を用いて前記基板を貫いてデータを通信するための方法であって、
(i)データで変調された連続的な波形搬送信号で前記第1音響変換器に電圧を印加する工程と、
(ii)前記第2音響変換器において、前記第1音響変換器によって前記基板を貫いて送信された音響信号を検出するとともにその中の変調されたデータを検出する工程と、
を具備し、
前記第1、第2音響変換器の寸法および前記搬送信号の周波数は、前記基板を貫くトリプル・トランジット信号による干渉を少なくとも1MHzのビット・レートで前記基板を貫いた連続的なデータ通信を可能にする程度に十分に低いレベルまで減じるように選択される方法。 - 前記トリプル・トランジット信号は主信号に比べて20dB程度減じられる、請求項1の装置。
