Description

The present invention relates to a mop configured to clean a floor surface with a cleaning member made of a sponge body or the like, and more particularly to a mop provided with a squeezing mechanism for squeezing the cleaning member.

In a mop designed to clean a floor surface with a cleaning member made of a sponge body, etc., those equipped with a pressing mechanism for squeezing the cleaning member are conventionally in various forms as shown in Patent Documents 1 to 3. It has been known.
Such a mop with a squeezing mechanism generally folds a pair of left and right head substrates attached with a cleaning member into two by sandwiching the cleaning member therebetween, and presses both head substrates from outside to increase the pressure. The cleaning member is configured to be squeezed. In addition, with regard to the configuration for bending or strongly pressing the head substrate, generally, the two divided wires are operated with a lever, the head substrate is sandwiched between these wires and bent into two, and they are It is configured to exert strong pressure from both sides.
JP 51-113363 A JP-A-5-211969 Registered Utility Model No. 3060128

However, the above-described squeezing mechanism in which the head substrate is sandwiched between two divided wires slides while the wire is in strong contact with the outer surface of the head substrate in a line contact state, so that the head substrate is easily worn. There was a problem of poor durability. In addition, there is also a drawback in that the force in the direction in which the distance increases is repeatedly applied to the two wires and the wires are elastically deteriorated, and the wear of the head substrate is added to this, so that the squeezing force is likely to be reduced.

Therefore, the object of the present invention is to eliminate the above-mentioned conventional drawbacks, eliminate the wear and elastic deterioration of each member accompanying the squeezing of the cleaning member, improve durability and prevent a reduction in squeezing force, and always have a constant stability. It is an object of the present invention to provide a mop with a pressing mechanism having a rational design structure that can reliably squeeze the cleaning member with the applied force.

In order to achieve the above object, the mop with a compression mechanism of the present invention is a long and narrow bar-like or plate-like cleaning member made of a water-absorbing material, and is elongated at the left and right for attaching the cleaning member, and can be bent at the center. A mop head, a head support frame that supports the mop head, a handle bar attached to the head support frame, and an operation mechanism for bending the mop head. And a pair of left and right head substrates on both sides of the support substrate, the base end portion being rotatably connected to the support substrate, and the cleaning member being detachably attached to the lower surface, A pair of left and right sliding substrates coupled to the head substrate so as to be movable in the longitudinal direction, and the mop head is connected to the head support frame via the sliding substrates. It is configured so that each sliding substrate moves toward the tip side of the head substrate when the cleaning member is squeezed along with the bending of the mop head, and the operation mechanism can be tilted up and down. It has a handle and a connecting rod extending from the handle and having a tip connected to the support base.

In the present invention, the head support frame has a bifurcated branching branch, and the sliding substrates are swingably connected to the leading ends of the branching branches via connecting arms. It is desirable.

In the present invention, the sliding substrate and the head substrate are coupled so that the longitudinal end portion of the sliding substrate extends from the leading end of the head substrate, and the cleaning member is attached to the head substrate. The cleaning member is attached so that the longitudinal end of the cleaning member extends from the tip of the sliding substrate. When the mop head is bent and the cleaning member is squeezed, the sliding substrate is attached to the head substrate. It can also comprise so that it may press-contact with the edge part of the said cleaning member by moving to a front end side.

Further, in the present invention, preferably, a plurality of locking holes are formed on the lower surfaces of the pair of head substrates, respectively, and the pair of head substrates excluding a central portion bent at the time of pressing on the upper surface of the cleaning member. A connecting plate having a plurality of locking bullets is attached to each of the corresponding positions, and the cleaning member is attached to the mop head by elastically locking these locking bullets in the locking holes. It is attached.

According to the present invention, since there is no member that slidably comes into contact with the mop head during compression, such as the wire in the conventional mop described above, the mop head is not damaged by wear or the like. Since the squeezing force does not decrease due to elastic deterioration as in the case of using a wire, the cleaning member can always be squeezed with a constant and stable force. Further, when the pair of sliding substrates is moved toward the tip side of the head substrate during pressing, the pressure applied to the head substrate via the sliding substrate is adjusted, and an appropriate pressing force is transmitted via the head substrate. Will be added to the cleaning member.

Each drawing shows a preferred embodiment of a mop with a compression mechanism according to the present invention. As shown in FIGS. 1 to 7, this mop has an elongated rod shape or plate shape made of a water absorbent material such as a sponge body. A cleaning member 1, a mop head 2 that is elongated to the left and right and is foldable in two at the center, and a head support frame 3 that supports the mop head 2, A handle bar 4 that is adjustable in length and attached to the center of the upper end of the head support frame 3 and an operation mechanism 5 for bending the mop head 2 are provided.

The cleaning member 1 has a cross-sectional shape in which a rectangular bottom surface and both corners are rounded, and a plurality of small grooves extending over the entire length in the longitudinal direction of the cleaning member 1 from the bottom surface to the lower ends of both side surfaces. 1a is provided. However, this small groove 1a is not necessarily required. Further, on the flat upper surface of the cleaning member 1, the connecting plate 10 is provided at a position corresponding to the pair of head substrates 16, 16 constituting the mop head 2, except for the central portion 1 b that becomes a bent portion when compressed. , 10 are attached.

The connecting plate 10 is made of a hard or semi-rigid synthetic resin, and is fixed to the cleaning member 1 with an adhesive. A plurality of locking bullets 11A and 11B are provided on the upper surface of the connecting plate 10. Are provided integrally. The locking bullets 11A and 11B are composed of a leg portion 11a rising upward from the connecting plate 10 and a locking portion 11b extending laterally from the upper end of the leg portion 11a. Two pairs of locking bullets 11A and 11B are made up of a pair of a first locking bullet 11A located at one end in the width direction (short direction) and a second locking bullet 11B located at the other end. The connecting plate 10 is disposed at a position near one end and a position near the other end in the longitudinal direction. The difference between the first locking bullet 11A and the second locking bullet 11B is that the directions of the locking portions 11b are opposite to each other. In the following description, when it is not necessary to distinguish between the first locking bullet piece 11A and the second locking bullet piece 11B, only “locking bullet piece 11” is displayed. .

The mop head 2 includes a support base 15 located in the center, a pair of left and right head substrates 16 and 16 rotatably connected to the support base 15, and the head substrates 16 and 16 in the longitudinal direction. It consists of a pair of left and right sliding substrates 17 and 17 coupled so as to be freely movable, and is formed so as to form a left and right object as a whole. The members 15, 16, and 17 constituting the mop head 2 are made of synthetic resin.

The support base 15 has a length substantially the same as the thickness when the cleaning member 1 is folded and squeezed into two (see FIG. 9), and both end positions in the length direction thereof. Have two bearing portions 18 and 18 and a connecting portion 19 for connecting the connecting rods 39 and 39 of the operating mechanism 5 at the center position. The head substrates are connected to the bearing portions 18 and 18, respectively. The bearing portions 16 a formed at the base end portions 16 and 16 are connected to each other by the support shaft 20 so as to be rotatable.

Further, as can be seen from FIG. 4, the head substrates 16 and 16 have a substantially flat lower surface, and the lower surface of the locking members 11 </ b> A and 11 </ b> B of the cleaning member 1 are locked to the lower surface. A plurality of locking holes 21A, 21B and a plurality of guide holes 22, 23 for guiding relative movement between the sliding substrates 17, 17 are provided.

The locking holes 21A and 21B are composed of a wide width portion 21a having a wide hole width and a narrow width portion 21b having a small hole width, and are located near one end in the width direction (short direction) of the head substrate 16. A pair of the locking hole 21A and the second locking hole 21B located near the other end, and two pairs of the locking holes 21A and 21B are located near one end in the longitudinal direction of each head substrate 16 and near the other end. In the position. Then, the locking bullets 11 of the cleaning member 1 are fitted into the locking holes 21A and 21B at the position of the wide width portion 21a, and then the locking bullet pieces 11 are moved to the narrow width portion 21b side. By locking the locking portion 11b to the hole edge of the narrow width portion 21b, the cleaning member 1 is attached so as to straddle the left and right head substrates 16 and 16, as shown in FIG. The cleaning member 1 is attached to each of the head substrates 16 and 16 while the cleaning member 1 is appropriately bent. The removal of the cleaning member 1 can be performed by the reverse operation of the above attachment.

Of the plurality of guide holes 22, 23, the first guide hole 22 is formed at the center of each head substrate 16 so as to extend a certain length in the longitudinal direction of the head substrate 16, as can be seen from FIGS. 4 and 6. A short columnar guide shaft 25 formed on the lower surface of each sliding substrate 17 is movably fitted therein, and these head substrates 16 are within the length of the guide hole 22. And the sliding substrate 17 are relatively displaced. Further, the second guide hole 23 is cut in the longitudinal direction of the head substrate 16 from the center position of the head portion of each head substrate 16, and has a plate-like shape formed on the lower surface of each sliding substrate 17 inside thereof. The guide wall 26 is fitted. The sliding substrate 17 and the head substrate 16 can be stably slid by the engagement of the guide holes 22 and 23 with the guide shafts 25 and the guide walls 26.

The sliding substrate 17 is overlapped so as to be freely movable while being in surface contact with the upper surface of the head substrate 16. The length of the sliding substrate 17 is longer than that of the head substrate 16, and therefore the distal end portion 17 a of the sliding substrate 17 in the longitudinal direction slightly extends from the distal end of the head substrate 16. The height is aligned so that the lower surface of 17a and the lower surface of the head substrate 16 are located on substantially the same plane. On the other hand, one or a plurality of concave portions 27 extending in the longitudinal direction are formed in the portion of the sliding substrate 17 that overlaps the head substrate 16, and the concave portions 27 are formed in the longitudinal direction on the upper surface of the head substrate 16. By fitting one or a plurality of convex walls 28, the substrates 16 and 17 are locked together so as not to be displaced in the width direction.

Further, an edge frame 29 that protrudes slightly downward is formed on the peripheral edge of the lower surface except the base end of the sliding substrate 17, and the connecting plate 10 on the upper surface of the cleaning member 1 is fitted into the edge frame 29. The cleaning member 1 is attached to the mop head 2 in a combined state. At this time, by forming the length of the cleaning member 1 slightly longer than the length of the mop head 2, both ends 1 c and 1 c in the longitudinal direction of the cleaning member 1 are connected to the tips of the mop head 2, that is, the sliding substrates 17 and 17. It is desirable to extend slightly from Thus, projecting the both end portions 1c and 1c of the cleaning member 1 from the mop head 2 prevents the mop head 2, that is, the sliding substrates 17 and 17 from coming into contact with the walls or furniture during the cleaning and damaging them. It is effective in doing.

The head support frame 3 has a bifurcated tip, and the sliding substrate 17 is swingably connected to the tip of each branch branch 3a, 3a via a connecting arm 31, respectively. . The two branch branches 3a and 3a once extend substantially in parallel, and the tip thereof is inclined so as to be widened. The base end portion of the connecting arm 31 is supported by the support shaft 32 at the tip of the inclined portion. It is pivotally connected. Further, the distal end portion of the connecting arm 31 is rotatably connected to a bearing portion 33 formed at an intermediate position on the upper surface of the sliding substrate 17 in the mop head 2 by a support shaft 34.

When the floor surface or the like is cleaned (see FIG. 1), the connecting arm 31 receives a cleaning operation force transmitted from the handle bar 4 via the head support frame 3 via the sliding substrate 17 and a mop head. 2 and when the cleaning member 1 is squeezed (see FIG. 9), the base end portion is supported by the head support frame 3 to apply pressure to the sliding substrate 17 and the head substrate 16 from both sides. To function.

The operating mechanism 5 includes a handle 38 attached to the handle bar 4 so that the handle bar 4 can be tilted up and down, and a pair of left and right connecting bars 39 connected between the handle 38 and the mop head 2. 39. The handle 38 has a ring-shaped gripping portion 38a at the distal end thereof, and is linked to a position between the gripping portion 38a and a base end portion attached to the handle bar 4 by the pin 37. The base ends of the bars 39 are connected. The connecting rods 39 and 39 are made of a metal wire such as a wire having high strength and high rigidity, and extend from the handle 38 while maintaining a substantially parallel state to each other, and then penetrate the head support frame 3. The leading end reaches the top of the mop head 2 and is connected to the connecting portion 19 of the support base 15. For the connection, the ends of the pair of connecting rods 39, 39 are bent in a bowl shape toward the inner side, which is a direction opposite to each other, and the locking holes formed in the end surface of the connecting portion 19 of the support base 15 are formed. It is fitted and locked.

As shown in FIG. 1, the mop having the above configuration is used for cleaning the floor or the like with the cleaning member 1 attached to the mop head 2 and an appropriate amount of water contained in the cleaning member 1. The operating force by the handle bar 4 at this time is transmitted from the head support frame 3 to the mop head 2 via the two connecting arms 31 and 31. Further, the mop head 2 is not bent at the central portion during cleaning because the central support base 15 is supported from above by the connecting rods 39 and 39.

When the cleaning member 1 contains more water than necessary due to immersion in the cleaning liquid, the amount of water is adjusted by squeezing it, and the squeezing operation is performed as follows.
That is, when the gripping portion 38a of the handle 38 is grasped from the state of FIG. 1 and the handle 38 is pulled upward, the support base 15 at the center of the mop head 2 is pulled up by the connecting rods 39, 39, so that FIG. As shown, the mop head 2 is bent in an inverted V shape at the center position, and the cleaning member 1 is bent accordingly.

When the handle 38 is further pulled from this state, the pair of head substrates 16 and 16 and the sliding substrates 17 and 17 are moved by the swinging of the connecting arms 31 and 31 as shown in FIG. The cleaning member 1 is bent in two so as to be substantially parallel to each other, and the cleaning member 1 is also bent in two, and is sandwiched between the two head substrates 16, 16. The water is squeezed out from both sides by the pressure applied by the connecting arms 31 and 31 acting on 16.

At this time, as the mop head 2 is bent, the sliding substrate 17 moves relatively to the tip side of the head substrate 16, and the movement causes the connecting arm 31 to move to the head substrate 16 via the sliding substrate 17. The applied pressure is adjusted, and an appropriate squeezing force is applied to the cleaning member 1 via the head substrate 16. Further, the end portion 1c extending from the mop head 2 of the cleaning member 1 is completely covered with the tip portion 17a of the sliding substrate 17, and the portion is pressurized by the tip portion 17a. The whole will be squeezed reliably.

By returning the handle 38 to the original position after the squeezing operation, the mop head 2 returns to the extended state shown in FIG. 1, so that the floor surface and the like can be cleaned.

Thus, in the mop according to the above embodiment, the mop head 2 is not damaged due to wear or the like because there is no member that slidably comes into contact with the mop head 2 at the time of pressing, such as a wire in a conventional mop. In addition, since the squeezing force does not decrease due to the elastic deterioration as in the case of using the wire, the cleaning member 1 can be surely squeezed with a constant and stable force.
In addition, in the said embodiment, although a pair of connecting rods 39 and 39 are provided, this connecting rod does not necessarily need to be a pair and may be one.
