Description
Claims (5)
- 粒子を含有する溶融金属の本体部と、その内部に形成され溶融金属を通すための通路を有する電気絶縁壁手段と、上記電気絶縁壁手段の一方の側で溶融金属に挿入された第1の電極と、第1の電極に対して上記電気絶縁壁手段の反対側で溶融金属に挿入された第2及び第3の電極とを備えていて、第2及び第3の電極が、該第2及び第3の電極と第1の電極とが共通の平面に並ぶようにして第1の電極のいずれか一方の側に等しい間隔で離間されている液体金属清浄度分析器(LiMCA)によって生成される所望のパルス信号中の電磁ノイズを低減する方法であって、
a)第2及び第3の電極に均等に電流を供給する過程であって、上記電流を溶融金属を通して上記通路を経由して第1の電極に流し、第2及び第3の電極の各々と第1の電極との間に対称的な電流ループを形成し、上記電流ループに、所望のパルス信号を生成させるとともに、電磁ノイズにより互いに等しいが反対である作用態様で影響を受けさせる過程と、
b)各電流ループによって生成された上記所望のパルス信号を付加して、電磁ノイズを少なくとも低減する過程とを含んでいる方法。 - 粒子を含有する溶融金属の本体部と、その内部に形成され溶融金属を通すための通路を有する電気絶縁壁手段と、上記電気絶縁壁手段の一方の側に配置された第1の電極と、第1の電極に対して上記電気絶縁壁手段の反対側で溶融金属に挿入された少なくとも1つの追加の電極と、第1の電極と上記少なくとも1つの追加の電極との間に接続された電圧記録手段とを備えている液体金属清浄度分析器(LiMCA)において実質的に連続的な測定を行う方法であって、
a)上記通路を通して上記一方の側に溶融金属を引き入れて、第1の電極を溶融金属中に浸漬する過程と、
b)第1の電極と上記少なくとも1つの追加の電極とに、初期の予め設定されたレベルで電流を供給して、上記少なくとも1つの追加の電極と第1の電極との間に電流ループを生成する過程であって、上記電流ループに電圧記録手段によって記録される所望のパルス信号を生成させる一方、ウルトラ・コンデンサを備えた電流源から上記電流を供給させる過程と、
c)上記ウルトラ・コンデンサから供給される電流の変化を監視する過程と、
d)上記少なくとも1つの追加の電極に接続された少なくとも1つの電圧制御抵抗器を調整して、電流出力を1回の測定の工程中に上記の予め設定されたレベルに迅速に再調整する一方、上記電圧記録手段が所望のパルス信号を記録するのを一時的に妨げる過程と、
e)溶融金属を、上記通路を通して上記反対側に放出する一方、上記ウルトラ・コンデンサを再充電する過程とを含む方法。 - 粒子を含有する溶融金属の本体部と、その内部に形成され溶融金属及び粒子を通すための通路を有する電気絶縁壁手段と、上記電気絶縁壁手段の内側において溶融金属に挿入された内側電極とを備えている液体金属清浄度分析器(LiMCA)によって生成される所望のパルス信号中の電磁ノイズを低減する装置であって、
a)内側電極のいずれか一方の側において上記電気絶縁壁手段の外側で溶融金属中に挿入され、内側電極と共通の平面を形成する第1及び第2の外側電極と、
b)第1及び第2の外側電極に均等に電流を供給する電流源であって、上記電流は移動している溶融金属を通って上記通路を経由して内部電極に流れて、第1及び第2の外側電極の各々と内側電極との間に対称的な電流ループを生成し、所望のパルス信号を生成するようになっている電流源と、
c)第1及び第2の外側電極と内側電極とに接続された検出手段であって、上記通路を通る粒子の移動に起因して電流ループによって生成される所望のパルス信号を検出するとともに、互いに等しいが反対の作用態様で各電流ループに影響を及ぼす電磁ノイズを解消する検出手段と、
d)各電流ループによって生成された所望のパルス信号を付加して、電磁ノイズを少なくとも低減する増幅器手段とを備えている装置。 - 上記電気絶縁壁手段の外側で溶融金属中に挿入されるとともに、少なくとも電流源と、検出手段と、計算手段とを囲んでいる囲いに接続され、溶融金属を基準電圧点にする基準電極をさらに備えている、請求項3に記載の装置。
- 電流源が1つ又は複数のウルトラ・コンデンサを備えている、請求項3又は4に記載の装置。
