Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an upper opening / closing body structure of a vehicle.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Some vehicles are equipped with a movable roof that can move the roof relative to the vehicle body. As a movable roof, there is a so-called sunroof that opens and closes an opening formed in the roof. However, the movable roof can be moved over its entire length in the vehicle width direction. There is also one in which the door opens and closes the upper part of the passenger compartment as a whole.
[0003]
For example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 8-85344 and Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 5-213066 disclose movable looms that can open the vehicle compartment as a whole. In any of these disclosures, the movable roof is divided into a plurality of parts in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body. A fully open mode in which the vehicle is fully opened and a partially open mode in which only a part of the passenger compartment is opened can be selectively used.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, when the movable roof can be selectively changed between the fully closed mode, the partially opened mode, and the fully opened mode, it can be safely performed because there is no influence of traveling wind when the vehicle is stopped. However, it is preferable that the mode can be changed even during traveling.
[0005]
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and its purpose is to safely move a movable roof between a fully closed mode, a partially opened mode, and a fully opened mode even during traveling. An object of the present invention is to provide an upper opening / closing structure of a vehicle that can be selectively changed.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the following solution is adopted in the present invention. That is, as described in claim 1 in the claims,
In the upper opening / closing body structure of the vehicle in which the roof covering the passenger compartment from above is a movable roof movable relative to the vehicle body, the movable roof moves in the entire vehicle width direction relative to the vehicle body. The movable roof is generally moved in a fully closed mode that covers the entire vehicle compartment and in a partially open mode in which only a part of the movable roof is moved to open only a part of the vehicle compartment. A fully open mode in which the upper part of the passenger compartment is fully open is provided, and a support mechanism for supporting the movable roof is provided, and the support mechanism is movable between the modes. -Set to be movable and to support the movable roof in each mode. According to the above solution, since the movable roof is moved while being supported by the support mechanism, it is possible to safely change the mode even during traveling.
[0007]
Further, the movable roof extends in a substantially horizontal direction from the rear end portion toward the front end portion, and then has a front movable roof in which the front end portion is in a front lowering state, and the movable roof in the fully closed mode. It has a three-part structure of an intermediate movable roof that extends in a substantially horizontal direction continuously to the front movable roof and a rear movable roof having a rear window. In the fully closed mode, the outer surface of the front movable roof And an outer surface of the intermediate movable roof and an outer surface of the rear movable roof are set so as to be substantially flush with each other. In the partially open mode, the front movable roof is moved from the fully closed mode. Only the roof is moved rearwardly on the intermediate movable roof so that the front movable roof has the front end of the front movable roof in the forwardly lowered state at the front end of the intermediate movable roof; It is superposed on the intermediate movable roof with the front region facing, The over-de, said front movable Le - in a state of full and are polymerized with one another, said rear movable Le - - off and the intermediate movable Le from being substantially polymerized onto off, when fully closed mode, divided Since the outer surfaces of the movable roofs are flush with each other, the appearance of the appearance is improved. Further, in the partially open mode, the upper space in the front part of the passenger compartment is opened, and the feeling of opening of the passengers in the driver seat and the passenger seat can be enhanced. Furthermore, in the partially open mode, it is preferable to support the front movable roof stably by supporting the front movable roof on the intermediate movable roof. Further, in the fully closed mode, the divided movable roofs are almost overlapped, which is preferable in reducing the storage space for storing the split movable roofs.
Further, the movable roof can be changed between the modes even when the vehicle is running, and the front movable roof and the intermediate movable roof are changed when the modes are changed. Each is set to move while maintaining its forward leaning posture, so there is no need to stop the vehicle one by one to change the mode, which is preferable for improving operability, When the mode is changed, it is possible to make it difficult for the front movable roof and the intermediate movable roof to be flipped up by the traveling wind.
[0008]
Based on the above solution technique, the following techniques can be adopted together. In the fully open mode, the rear movable roof is inclined in the front-rear direction with the inner surface facing upward, and the front movable roof and the intermediate movable roof are substantially horizontal. It is assumed to be a horizontal posture that extends,
Can be. In this case, the rear movable roof having the rear window is often made concave on the inner surface side (vehicle compartment side), but the rear movable roof is moved forward by the concave portion of the movable roof. For avoiding interference with the roof and the intermediate movable roof, it is preferable to overlap each of the movable movable roofs as close as possible for compactness.
[0009]
The tilting posture of the rear movable roof in the fully open mode is such that the front end portion of the rear movable roof is positioned at the same height as the front end portion of the trunk lid and is positioned downward as it goes forward. It can be made to be made into the inclination posture of front-down. As a result, in the fully open mode, the space for storing the rear movable roof is shortened as much as possible in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body while preventing a large level difference between the rear movable roof and the trunk lid. This is also preferable for ensuring appearance in the mode.
[0010]
The front movable roof, the intermediate movable roof, and the rear movable roof that are substantially overlapped with each other in the fully opened mode are positioned behind the seat back of the rearmost seat in the standing position and in front of the trunk lid. In the fully open mode, the front movable roof and the intermediate movable roof that are superposed on each other in a state of extending in a substantially horizontal direction have substantially the same height as the front end portion of the trunk lid. It extends in a substantially horizontal direction depending on the position, and can cover the storage space almost entirely from above. According to this, each split movable roof can be stored in the fully open mode with the seat back of the seat at the rearmost portion in the standing position. Further, in the fully open mode, the storage space is covered with the split movable roof, which is preferable in securing appearance.
[0011]
[0012]
[0013]
When in the fully closed mode, at least a part of the movable roof can be supported by the vehicle body side member. This is preferable for firmly supporting the movable roof.
[0014]
An opening for getting on and off that is opened and closed by a side door is formed in a side portion of the vehicle body, and in the fully closed mode, the movable roof is supported by an upper end portion of a front window glass, and It can be made to be supported also by the upper end part of the provided side glass in the fully closed state. Thereby, the movable roof in the fully closed mode can be firmly supported by effectively using the front window glass and the side window glass.
[0015]
It is possible to have drive control means for automatically setting the partially open mode when it is detected that a passenger is getting on or off when the fully closed mode is set. In this case, even in a vehicle having a low vehicle body, that is, a low roof, it is preferable to easily get on and off without being disturbed by the roof.
