本発明は、売切れによる販売機会の損失を防ぐ自動販売機の制御装置に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
近年、自動販売機の制御装置は、無駄な商品補充による商品期限切れを回避するために、コラム毎の販売実績より商品期限切れの推定や必要な商品補充本数を判定し、それを金額表示器、販売可能ランプ、売切れランプ等を用いて表示することができるようになっている。

従来の自動販売機の制御装置としては特開平9―69184号公報に示されているものがある。

図7は、従来の自動販売機の制御装置の機能ブロック図である。図7において、101は演算を行うCPU、102は読込みのみを行える記憶手段であるROM、103は読書きを行える記憶手段であるRAM、104は年月日時間をカウントできる時計、105は自動販売機を操作できるキーボード、106は自動販売機を初期状態にするプリセットスイッチ、107は商品補充を検知する投入口センサ、108は在庫数と残期限の表示を指示する確認指示スイッチ、109は在庫数と残期限の表示を行う確認表示装置、110は商品の払出しを指示する払出し起動スイッチ、111は商品を払出す商品払出し装置、112は販売不可を表示する販売不可表示部である。

まず、CPU101は、商品が販売期限に達していないで、前回補充時刻から現在までの販売数が基準販売数より少ない場合に、確認起動スイッチ108が操作されると、売切れランプの点滅で売切れ予想を確認表示装置109に表示させるので、販売実績から売切れ予想ができ、販売期限切れを防ぐことができる。

また、CPU101は、商品が販売期限に達したとき、前回補充日から販売期限までの販売数を記憶させ、確認起動スイッチ108が操作されたとき、その販売数を適正補充数として確認表示装置109に表示させるので、売切れ発生時にも次回からは、販売実績から適正補充数がわかり、商品補充回数を必要最小限とし、販売期限切れを防ぐことができる。

しかしながら、上記従来の構成は、商品期限切れの警告にとどまり、また補充本数の表示しかされないため、次回の適性な商品補充時期がわからないという欠点があった。
