Description
The present invention belongs to the technical field of a spectral characteristic measuring device such as a spectrocolorimeter that measures the spectral reflection characteristics of a measurement sample, and particularly in the direction of the wavelength spectral direction that occurs in the spectral sensitivity of the light receiving means due to deterioration over time or ambient temperature change. The present invention relates to a technique for presenting a shift state to a user.
Spectral characteristic measurement devices such as a spectrocolorimeter that measure the spectral reflection characteristics of a measurement sample are used to produce the amplitude and center of the spectral sensitivity of the light-receiving means using an emission line spectrum such as a laser or a temperature-controlled color reference plate. Shipped after calibrating wavelength and half width. However, if the spectral sensitivity of the light receiving means shifts in the wavelength spectral direction due to deterioration over time or changes in ambient temperature after shipment, there is a problem that the measurement accuracy decreases.
For example, as the light receiving means, one having a plurality of photoelectric conversion elements that are arranged at predetermined intervals in the wavelength spectral direction of the spectroscopic means and receive light of different wavelengths and output electrical signals corresponding to the light intensity is used. However, in that case, when the relative position of the light receiving means and the spectroscopic means changes in the wavelength spectroscopic direction due to deterioration over time, the spectral sensitivity of the light receiving means shifts in the wavelength spectroscopic direction.
To solve this problem, generally, a reference color sample with a known spectral reflectance is measured, and a shift amount is estimated and corrected from the difference between the obtained measurement data and the known data.
By the way, it is preferable to present the shift state of the spectral sensitivity of the light receiving means to the user because the user can determine whether or not to request a shift correction work from an expert based on the presented shift state.
However, even if the shift amount derived as described above is presented to the user as it is, the user often cannot accurately grasp the meaning of the presented shift amount.

The input operation unit 50 is disposed on the surface of the apparatus main body, and includes a power switch 51 for switching on / off the power of the
Further, the input operation unit 50 includes a white calibration switch (not shown). When this white calibration switch is operated, a white calibration using a white calibration plate as disclosed in, for example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2003-90761 is performed. Is executed. The white calibration plate is usually attached to the
The
In the
In order to solve this problem, in the present embodiment, using the white calibration plate and the
In order to realize such a function, the
When the measurement switch 52 or the wavelength shift

The spectral
The feature
In the present embodiment, as described above, the
As shown in FIG. 5A, the
FIG. 6A is a diagram for explaining the spectral sensitivity of each sensor constituting the sample
As shown in FIG. 6A, each sensor has spectral sensitivity characteristics having peaks in different wavelength ranges. The peak value of each spectral sensitivity is normalized by a conventionally known method.
Now, as shown in FIG. 6B, when the state where the spectral sensitivity of the sample
Here, in the present embodiment, the difference between the output values X i−1 and X i + 1 of the sensors with sensor numbers i−1 and i + 1 located on both sides of the sensor with sensor number i that has received the bright line having the wavelength of about 530 nm. (X i + 1 −X i−1 ) is derived as the feature amount A.
This is because (1) when the difference in output value of the sensor across the wavelength region where the bright line spectrum exists is used, when the spectral sensitivity shift occurs, one output value increases and the other output value decreases. As a result, the difference in the output values of the sensors changes relatively greatly. Therefore, the difference between the output values of the sensor is considered to be very effective as a parameter that can clearly grasp the occurrence of the shift. (2) The feature amount is calculated using the difference between the output values of the two sensors. The calculation is based on the reason that the offset amount of each sensor output can be canceled.
In the present embodiment, an emission line having a wavelength of about 530 nm is used. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and an emission line having a wavelength of about 542 nm may be used as shown by an arrow B in FIG. The feature amount may be calculated based on the bright line in the wavelength range of 520 nm to 550 nm.
The feature amount is calculated based on the bright line in the wavelength range of 520 nm to 550 nm as described above in the direction substantially perpendicular to the wavelength spectroscopic direction and the light receiving surface of the sample optical sensor array 36 (direction of arrow C in FIG. 1). When the sample
Therefore, as described above, the measurement wavelength range of the sample
The wavelength shift
Δλ=a×ΔA ・・・(1)
Δλ = a × ΔA (1)
Note that a is a constant indicating the ratio of the change amount of the shift amount to the change amount of the feature amount A.
When the shift amount Δλ is derived in this way, the spectral sensitivity of each sensor stored in the

FIG. 7 is a diagram illustrating an example of a screen displayed on the
FIG. 8 is a flowchart showing color difference display processing performed in the
As shown in FIG. 8, when a white calibration plate is set by the user and the wavelength shift
Then, the
Next, the
Further, the
FIG. 9 is a flowchart showing a conversion processing subroutine of
As shown in FIG. 9, the
Next, the
Then, the
Further, the
Then, the
As described above, since the color difference in the stored orange tile is calculated from the calculated shift amount Δλ, it is not necessary to measure the orange tile when diagnosing the state of the
Further, since the calculated shift amount Δλ is converted into the color difference (ΔE * ab ) Δλ and displayed on the
This case includes modifications described in the following [1] to [9] in addition to or in place of the embodiment.
[1] In the first embodiment, when the state of the
[2] Based on the assumption that the difference (change amount) ΔA between the feature amount A0 in the initial state of the spectral profile and the calculated feature amount A is substantially proportional to the shift amount Δλ, based on the equation (1). Although the shift amount Δλ is calculated, the calculation formula for calculating the shift amount Δλ is not limited to the formula (1). Further, the relationship between the difference ΔA and the shift amount Δλ is stored in a table format, and when the feature amount A is calculated, the shift amount Δλ corresponding to the difference ΔA based on the feature amount A is referred to the table. It may be derived.
[3] In the first embodiment, the relationship between the shift amount and the color difference (coefficient K) is calculated each time the
[4] When the obtained color difference (ΔE * ab ) Δλ exceeds a reference value (appropriate value), a warning display or the like indicating that maintenance of the
[5] In addition to the configuration of the first embodiment, in the state diagnosis of the
In this embodiment, the screen shown in FIG. 10 corresponds to the calculated shift amount Δλ, the color difference ΔE * ab corresponding to the shift amount Δλ in orange, and the shift amount Δλ in green. The color difference ΔE * ab is displayed. The screen shown in FIG. 10 has a shift amount Δλ of −0.3 nm, an orange color difference ΔE * ab of 1.05, and a green color difference ΔE * ab of It is 0.78.
Thereby, the user can know the color difference according to the color of the measurement sample, and the convenience of the
In the first embodiment, each time the state of the
Further, in this case, not only the color difference ΔE and the shift amount Δλ are displayed on the
Therefore, in the same manner as in the modified embodiment [4], when the obtained color difference (ΔE * ab ) Δλ exceeds the reference value corresponding to the color, it is necessary to maintain the
[6] In the first embodiment, the color difference ΔE and the shift amount Δλ are displayed on the
[7] The method of deriving the shift amount Δλ is not limited to the method shown in the first embodiment, and for example, the method disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2003-90761 proposed by the present applicant can be adopted. It is.
[8] In the first embodiment, the spectroscopic characteristic measuring apparatus that measures the reflected light from the measurement sample has been described. However, the transmitted light type that measures liquid or a transmissive plate-shaped measurement sample or the like is described. The present invention is applied even to a spectral characteristic measuring apparatus. In this case, as the spectral profile used when calculating the feature amount, a spectral profile obtained without placing the measurement sample (through) may be used, and instead of the spectral reflectance characteristics of the sample in the first embodiment. Thus, the present invention can be applied to the spectral transmittance characteristic in exactly the same manner.
