Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a fire hose in which a protective layer is provided on the outer surface of a jacket, and more specifically, to prevent a decrease in flexibility associated with the formation of the protective layer while sufficiently securing the outer surface protective effect of the protective layer. It relates to the fire hose.
[0002]
[Prior art]
The fire hose is provided with a coating layer made of rubber or synthetic resin on the inner surface of a jacket made of a tubular woven fabric, and this coating layer ensures liquid tightness. Further, a protective layer made of a synthetic resin is provided on the outer surface of the jacket, and this protective layer enhances the wear resistance of the outer surface of the jacket. The protective layer is formed on the entire surface of the jacket by immersing the jacket in a molten synthetic resin bath.
[0003]
However, when the protective layer is provided on the entire surface of the jacket as described above, there is a problem that the bending rigidity of the hose increases and the flexibility deteriorates. In particular, fire hoses are often rubbed on the road under harsh conditions, so it is necessary to provide a protective layer from the viewpoint of durability, but such a protective layer makes it difficult to bend the hose. As a result, handling and storing work of the fire hose has become difficult.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
An object of the present invention is to provide a fire hose capable of sufficiently securing the outer surface protection effect of the protective layer without impairing flexibility.
[0005]
[Means for solving the problems]
In order to achieve the above object, a fire hose of the present invention is provided with a coating layer made of rubber or synthetic resin on the inner surface of a jacket made of a tubular woven fabric, and a number of dot-like coating portions on the outer surface of the jacket. Arranged at intervals throughout the hose, or arranged with a plurality of annular covering portions extending in the hose circumferential direction at intervals in the hose longitudinal direction, and the covering portions and the non-covering portions alternate in the hose longitudinal direction. A protective layer made of a synthetic resin that forms a pattern repeated on the surface is formed , the hardness of the protective layer is 60 to 95 in terms of JIS-A hardness, the thickness of the protective layer is 0.5 to 2.0 mm, and the protective layer The total area of the entire length of the hose is 20 to 80% of the surface area of the jacket.
[0006]
In this way, a protective layer made of synthetic resin is formed on the outer surface of the jacket to form a pattern in which the covering portion and the non-covering portion are alternately repeated in the longitudinal direction of the hose , and the hardness, thickness, and total area with respect to the jacket surface are set. Therefore, the effect of protecting the outer surface by the protective layer can be sufficiently exerted, and the flexibility of the fire hose is not lowered.
[0007]
The jacket fabric is preferably composed of filament yarns of synthetic fibers . When the filament yarn is used in this way, the familiarity of the synthetic resin or the like with respect to the fiber is improved.
[0008]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, the configuration of the present invention will be specifically described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[0009]
FIG. 1 shows a fire hose according to a first embodiment of the present invention. In FIG. 1, a hose body 10 includes a jacket 1 made of a tubular woven fabric and a coating layer 2 made of rubber or synthetic resin provided on the inner surface of the jacket 1. Further, a protective layer 3 a made of synthetic resin having a pattern is provided on the outer surface of the jacket 1. The protective layer 3a has a pattern in which a large number of dot-shaped covering portions are arranged on the entire surface of the jacket at a predetermined interval, and the other areas are uncovered portions.
[0010]
FIG. 2 shows a fire hose according to the second embodiment of the present invention. In FIG. 2, a synthetic resin protective layer 3 b having a pattern is provided on the outer surface of the jacket 1. The protective layer 3b has a pattern in which a plurality of annular covering portions extending in the hose circumferential direction are arranged at predetermined intervals in the hose longitudinal direction, and the other regions are uncovered portions.
[0012]
Fire hose formed of the above-described embodiments is provided with the protective layer 3a or 3 b made of each synthetic resin on the outer surface of the jacket 1, to sufficiently protect the jacket 1 These protective layers 3a or 3 b can be, moreover flexibility since the protective layer 3a or 3 b is form any pattern instead of coating the jacket entirely it is also good. Therefore, the present invention facilitates handling of the fire hose in the fire fighting operation, and can greatly improve the workability when the fire hose is wound up or folded and stored.
[0013]
In the present invention, as the material of the protective layer 3a and 3 b, the vinyl chloride having excellent wear resistance, urethane, polyester, be used as the rubber preferred. The hardness of the protective layer 3a and 3 b of the present invention to be in the range of 60 to 95 in JIS-A hardness. The thickness of these protective layers 3a and 3 b are the 0.5 to 2.0 mm. If the thickness is less than 0.5 mm, the effect of protecting the outer surface is insufficient. Conversely, if the thickness exceeds 2.0 mm, the hose weight is increased. In order to achieve both wear resistance and flexibility, the total area of the hose overall length of the protective layer 3a and 3 b is set to 20-80% of the jacket surface.
[0014]
Protective layer 3a and 3 b described above, in a state of collapsed flatly pressing jacket 1, by a technique such as transcription using screen printing or roller, it can be easily formed against the outer surface of the jacket 1.
[0015]
Synthetic fibers such as polyester can be used for the fabric constituting the jacket 1. Either a filament yarn or a spun yarn may be used for this woven fabric. Particularly, when a filament yarn is used, it is preferable because the familiarity of the synthetic resin to the fiber becomes good. On the other hand, as the material of the covering layer 2, rubbers such as natural rubber (NR) and styrene butadiene rubber (SBR), synthetic resins such as vinyl chloride, polyurethane and polyester, or mixtures and derivatives thereof can be used. It is.
[0016]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, a coating layer made of rubber or a synthetic resin is provided on the inner surface of a jacket made of a tubular woven fabric, and a large number of dot-shaped coating portions are provided on the outer surface of the jacket with a gap across the entire jacket. Alternatively, a plurality of annular covering portions extending in the hose circumferential direction are arranged at intervals in the hose longitudinal direction, and the covering portion and the non-covering portion are alternately repeated in the hose longitudinal direction. A protective layer made of synthetic resin to be formed is formed , and the hardness of the protective layer is 60 to 95 in JIS-A hardness, the thickness of the protective layer is 0.5 to 2.0 mm, and the total length of the hose of the protective layer Since the total surface area of the jacket is 20 to 80% of the surface area of the jacket, it is possible to sufficiently secure the outer surface protection effect by the protective layer without impairing the flexibility of the fire hose. Yield It is possible to easily perform the work.
