Description
Claims (14)
- ダクテッドファン空気流乗物であって、
胴体および関連した空気流の制御表面と、
周辺壁、上方入口端および下方出口端を有する少なくとも1つの空気流ダクトであって、当該ダクトは、胴体に沿って取り付けられて、前記上方入口端から前記下方出口端へ向けて当該ダクトを通して周囲の環境空気を押し流すことによりダクト空気流の軸に沿った方向に垂直揚力を供給する力を生み出すように配置されたファンを収容する当該少なくとも1つの空気流ダクトと、
前記少なくとも1つの空気流ダクトの少なくとも1つの周辺壁に形成された少なくとも1つの調整可能な開口部であって、開口時に、追加の環境空気が前記周辺壁を突き抜けて、前記上方入口端から前記ダクトに入り前記下方出口端を通って出る環境空気に加わるか、または、前記上方入口端から前記ダクトに入る環境空気が、当該少なくとも1つの調整可能な開口部および前記下方出口端を通って出ることにより、前記周辺壁の抵抗の負担を減少させ、乗物の運動中に前記ダクトの壁を通してさらに多量の直接流体流を供給することで、乗物の運動を増強することを可能にする当該少なくとも1つの調整可能な開口部と、
を備えるダクテッドファン空気流乗物。 - 前記調整可能な開口部は、複数の枢動可能に取り付けられたルーバーを備え、前記ルーバーは、ある1つの位置で前記少なくとも1つの空気流ダクトの前記周辺壁を閉鎖し、そこを通過する気流の侵入を遮断し、且つ、他の少なくとも1つの位置で前記周辺壁を開放し、そこを通過する気流の侵入を可能にする、請求項1に記載の乗物。
- 前記胴体のキャビン部分の前部および後部の両方に配置された少なくとも1つの前記空気流ダクトを備え、それらの各々の前記ダクトの軸は、胴体において、互いに平行で且つ前方に傾斜することで傾斜の方向に力成分を供給する、請求項1に記載の乗物。
- 各ダクトの軸が互いに平行である、前記胴体のキャビン部分の前部に配置された少なくとも1つの前記空気流ダクトと、前記キャビン部分の後部に配置された少なくとももう1つの前記空気流ダクトと、を有し、
前記乗物は更に、前記ダクトの軸が前方に傾斜した状態で、非飛行状態にある前記乗物を支持する胴体着陸支持構造体を備える、請求項1に記載の乗物。 - 前記制御表面は、前記少なくとも1つの空気流ダクトの前記上方入口端の少なくとも一部分の内部に且つ横切るように配置された複数の制御羽根を備える、請求項1に記載の乗物。
- 前記制御表面はまた、前記少なくとも1つの空気流ダクトの前記下方出口端の少なくとも一部分に横切るように配置された複数の前記制御羽根を備える、請求項5に記載の乗物。
- 前記複数の羽根の少なくともいくつかが、前記胴体の縦軸に一直線上にあるスパン方向軸を有する、請求項5に記載の乗物。
- 前記複数の羽根の少なくともいくつかがまた、前記少なくとも1つの空気流ダクトの前記下方出口端の少なくとも一部分を横切るように横方向に配置されている、請求項7に記載の乗物。
- 前記制御羽根がエアフォイル断面形を有し、その最前端が前記少なくとも1つの空気流ダクトを通る主流体入口の流れ方向に向かって位置されている、請求項5に記載の乗物。
- 前記エアフォイル型羽根の少なくともいくつかの各々が、そのスパン方向軸に沿って可変的方向に向けられた翼弦線を有し、その翼弦線が前記羽根のスパン方向軸に沿って、各々異なる位置で予想されるダクト空気流ベクトル方向と一致する方向に向けられている、請求項9に記載の乗物。
- 前記羽根の翼弦線が、前記少なくとも1つの空気流ダクトの内部で前記羽根の位置の関数として次第に変化する角度に向けられている、請求項9に記載の乗物。
- 前記胴体のキャビンペイロード部分の前部に配置された少なくとも1つの前記空気流ダクトおよび、前記キャビンペイロード部分の後部に配置された少なくとも別の1つの前記空気流ダクトと、
前記前部に配置されたダクトの前方に面する側に位置する前記少なくとも1つの調節可能な開口部と、
(a)上部を流れる空気によって空気力学的揚力の生成を増強し、且つ、(b)前記前部に配置されたダクトから排出される空気流に対する抵抗を減少させるよう、空気力学的に成形されている前記キャビンペイロード部分の外側の上部および下部表面と、を備える、請求項1に記載の乗物。 - 垂直離着陸機であり、前記キャビンペイロード部分の外側の上部表面は凸状に成形され、前記キャビンペイロード部分の外側の下部表面は凹状に成形されている、請求項12に記載の乗物。
- 前記胴体のキャビンペイロード部分の前部に配置された少なくとも1つの前記空気流ダクトおよび、前記キャビンペイロード部分の後部に配置された少なくとも別の1つの前記空気流ダクトと、
前記前部に配置されたダクトの前記周辺壁の前方に面する部分にある前記少なくとも1つの調節可能な開口部と、
乗物の抗力を更に減少させて高速前方運動を増強するように、前記後部に配置されたダクトの前記周辺壁の後方に面する部分にある第2の調節可能な開口部と、を備える、請求項1に記載の乗物。
