Description

The present invention relates to a power plug, and more particularly to a power plug that is integrally assembled to a case portion of an AC adapter.

As shown in FIG. 13, a conventional power supply plug 1 of this type is formed by molding the root portions of a pair of plug blades 2 and 2 which are metal blades into a plug body 3 made of synthetic resin. Metal fixed contact pieces 4, 4 protrude from the left and right side surfaces of 3. The power plug 1 is used by being incorporated in an AC adapter. In this case, the fixed contact pieces 4 and 4 on the power plug 1 side are engaged with the concave portion of the case portion on the AC adapter side and assembled integrally.

FIG. 14 shows a state when the AC adapter 5 in which the power plug 1 is incorporated is used by being inserted into the outlet 6 (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
JP 2007-103304 A

The above-mentioned conventional power plug 1 has no problem as a product as a product, but a cause unintended by the user, for example, an abnormal use state intentionally by a malicious user, that is, a power plug inserted into the outlet 6 Only the case portion 5 </ b> A of the AC adapter 5 may be removed from the one plug body 3.

As a result, as shown in FIG. 15, only the plug body 3 remains attached to the outlet 6, and the fixed contact pieces 4 and 4 protrude from the side surface of the plug body 3 (abnormal use state). . For this reason, for example, when the plug body 3 is removed from the outlet 6, there is a concern that a user's hand or the like may come into contact with the fixed contact pieces 4, 4 protruding from the side surface of the plug body 3 to cause an electric shock. is there.

Therefore, when removing the plug body inserted into the outlet when the power plug is abnormally used, there arises a technical problem to be solved in order to surely prevent an electric shock from touching the fixed contact piece. Therefore, an object of the present invention is to solve the problem.

The present invention has been proposed to achieve the above object, and the invention according to claim 1 is a power plug assembled to an AC adapter having a movable contact piece,
A plug plug blade is fixed to an insulating plug body, and a fixed contact piece connected to a root portion of the plug plug blade is a power plug configured to contact the movable contact piece,
In the power plug arranged so that the tip of the fixed contact piece does not protrude from the plug body,
The distal end portion of the fixed contact piece is disposed in a hole formed in the plug body, the distal end portion of the movable contact piece is provided with a narrow-shaped terminal pin, and the distal end portion of the terminal pin is located in the hole. And is configured to contact the fixed contact piece,
The hole formed in the plug body opens to the side surface of the plug body, and the outer periphery of the right hole has a substantially circular cam portion having a wavy cam surface and a rectangular shape in which the cam portion is rotatably fitted. A power plug is provided in which a cam mechanism including a synthetic resin cam receiving portion is provided, and a lower end portion of the cam receiving portion is fitted and fixed to a concave portion of the bottom surface of the case portion of the AC adapter.

According to this configuration, the distal end portion of the fixed contact piece is configured such that a hand or the like does not come into electrical contact from the outside of the plug body. That is, the tip of the fixed contact piece is provided so as not to protrude from the plug main body, or even when the fixed contact piece protrudes from the plug main body, the tip end portion of the fixed contact piece is made of an insulating material (for example, a resin mold portion). Cover. If comprised in this way, when removing the plug main body inserted in the outlet, a hand etc. will not be brought into electrical contact with the fixed contact piece.

According to this configuration, since the terminal pin provided on the movable contact piece is formed in a narrow shape, the diameter of the hole for the fixed contact piece into which the tip portion of the terminal pin is inserted is reduced.

According to the first aspect of the present invention, since a hand or the like does not come into contact with the conductive portion of the fixed contact piece from the outside, an electric shock accident is surely generated when the plug body inserted into the outlet is removed during abnormal use of the power plug. Can be prevented.

According to the present invention, since the hole for the fixed contact piece can be formed in a small diameter, in addition to the effect of the invention described above, the thickness of the outer peripheral portion (cam portion) of the hole is increased by the amount corresponding to the small diameter of the hole. Thus, the rigidity strength can be increased.
Further, the hole is opened to the side surface of the plug body, and a substantially circular cam portion having a wavy cam surface and a rectangular synthetic resin in which the cam portion is rotatably fitted to the outer peripheral portion of the right hole. A cam mechanism comprising a cam-made receiving portion, and the lower end portion of the cam receiving portion is fitted and fixed to a recess in the bottom surface of the case portion of the AC adapter. Thus, it is assembled to the case portion so as to be intermittently rotatable. Therefore, the plug body can be selectively switched between a use position where the plug plug blade protrudes from the front surface of the case portion and a storage position where the plug plug blade is rotationally displaced and stored in the recess of the case portion. Can do.

In order to achieve the object of reliably preventing an electric shock by touching the fixed contact piece when removing the plug body from the outlet during abnormal use of the power plug, the present invention provides a movable contact piece. A power plug to be assembled to an AC adapter having a plug plug blade fixed to an insulating plug body, and a fixed contact piece connected to a root portion of the plug plug blade is in contact with the movable contact piece In the power plug configured as described above, the distal end portion of the fixed contact piece is disposed so as not to protrude from the plug main body, so that the user cannot make electrical contact with the distal end portion of the fixed contact piece. Achieved by.

Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described. In this embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 1 (a) and 1 (b), a contact portion provided on the base portion side of the plug plug blades 19a and 19b of the power plug 18, that is, the movable contact pieces 14a and 14b is contacted. By forming the fixed contact C portion into a concave structure so as not to protrude from the side surfaces 22a and 22b of the plug body 20, for example, when the plug body 20 inserted into an outlet is gripped, a hand or the like is placed on the fixed contact C. It is designed to prevent contact.

The present invention can be applied to either a rotating power plug or a fixed power plug.

The power plug according to the present embodiment will be described in more detail with reference to FIGS. 2A and 2B show a power plug incorporated in the AC adapter, where FIG. 2A is a sectional view, FIG. 2B is a left side view, FIG. 3C is a right side view, and FIG. 3 is a plan view showing the inside of the case portion of the AC adapter. (The circuit board is omitted).

In the figure, reference numeral 11 denotes an AC adapter that converts AC power into DC power, and a case portion 12 of the AC adapter 11 is made of an insulating synthetic resin. As shown in FIG. 2A, a circuit board 13 on which circuit components and the like are mounted is provided on the lower surface side of the case portion 12. Also, a U-shaped recess 12A for disposing the power plug 18 is formed at one location on the outer periphery of the case portion 12 shown in FIG.

On the circuit board 13, as shown in FIG. 2A, spring contact pieces (movable contact pieces) 14a, 14b made of an elastic material and having a substantially inverted U-shaped longitudinal section are electrically connected. Terminal pins 15a and 15b are fixed to the tips of the contact pieces 14a and 14b by caulking or pinning. Further, as shown in FIG. 3, the spring contact pieces 14a, 14b are erected in close proximity to and opposed to the central portions (notches) 12B, 12B on the left and right sides of the recess 12A.

The power plug 18 of the present embodiment is disposed in the recess 12 </ b> A of the case portion 12. As shown in FIG. 2 (a), the power plug 18 includes a pair of plug plug blades 19a and 19b inserted into an outlet of a commercial power outlet (not shown) and the pair of plug plug blades 19a. , 19b and an insulating plug body 20 integrally molded with resin.

The base portions of the plug plug blades 19 a and 19 b are bent in an L shape, and the tip portions of the L shape portions extend to the side surfaces 22 a and 22 b of the plug body 20. And the front-end | tip part of this L-shaped part functions as the fixed contact pieces 21a and 21b integrally connected to the plug stopper blades 19a and 19b. In addition, the cross-sectional shape of the fixed contact pieces 21a and 21b is arbitrary, and may be either square or round.

Stationary strips 21a in the plug body 20, the portion corresponding to 21b, the hole 25a for the stationary contact piece, 25b are perforated in diametrically enlarged in a stepped shape, the holes 25a, 25 b, the plug body It opens to 20 side surfaces 22a and 22b. Further, the openings of the holes 25a and 25b are close to and opposed to the arcuate notches 12B and 12B on the case 12 side. Further, the terminal pins 15a and 15b of the spring contact pieces 14a and 14b are inserted into the holes 25a and 25b, respectively, and the terminal pins 15a and 15b are elastically contacted with the distal end surfaces of the fixed contact pieces 21a and 21b. Yes.

A cam mechanism is provided on the outer periphery of the right hole 25a in FIG. The cam mechanism includes a substantially circular cam portion 23 having a wavy cam surface, and a rectangular synthetic resin cam receiving portion (not shown) into which the cam portion 23 is rotatably fitted. The lower end portion of the cam receiving portion is fitted and fixed to the concave portion on the bottom surface of the case portion 12.

Therefore, the plug body 20 is assembled to the case portion 12 through the cam mechanism so as to be intermittently rotatable. Therefore, the plug body 20 has a use position (see FIG. 3) in which the plug plug blades 19a and 19b protrude from the front surface 12A of the case portion 12, and the plug plug blades 19a and 19b are rotationally displaced so that the concave portions of the case portion 12 are recessed. The storage position stored in the place 12A can be selectively switched.

When the plug body 20 is in the use position, the fixed contact pieces 21a and 21b on the plug body 20 side and the spring contact pieces 14a and 14b on the case portion 12 side are in a conductive state. However, even when the plug body 20 is outside the use position, it is in a conductive state. When the plug body 20 is located at a position other than the use position, the fixed contact pieces 21a and 21b and the spring contact pieces 14a and 14b can be in a non-conductive state.

According to the present embodiment, the distal ends of the fixed contact pieces 21a and 21b are located inside the holes 25a and 25b, and thus do not protrude from the side surfaces 22a and 22b of the plug body 20 (concave structure). For this reason, it is comprised so that a hand etc. may not contact the fixed contact pieces 21a and 21b from the outside.

Therefore, as shown in FIG. 4, when only the plug main body 20 is inserted into the outlet 6, for example, when the user grasps and removes the plug main body 20, the fixed contact pieces 21a in the holes 25a and 25b, Since the hand does not come into electrical contact with 21b, the plug body 20 can be safely removed. Thus, there is no risk of electric shock when the plug body 20 is removed.

In the present embodiment, the terminal pin 15a provided on the spring contact piece 14a can be formed in an arbitrary shape, but it can be formed in a narrow shape as shown in FIG. If comprised in this way, the diameter of the hole 25a will become small. Therefore, the cam portion 23 formed on the outer peripheral portion of the hole 25a can be formed thicker as the diameter of the hole 25a becomes smaller, and the rigidity strength of the cam portion 23 can be increased.

In this case, it is preferable to change the shape of the root part of the plug stopper blade 19a in accordance with the shape change of the terminal pin 15a. In the configuration example of FIG. 5, a step portion D is provided at the root portion of the plug plug blade 19 a so that the fixing force of the plug plug blade 19 a with respect to the plug body 20 is increased.

6 (a) to 6 (c) show embodiments closely related to the present invention, and relay conduction terminals (conductive members) 26a and 26b made of a conductive material are mounted in the holes 25a and 25b. ing. That is, relay conduction terminals 26a and 26b are interposed between the fixed contact pieces 21a and 21b on the base side of the plug plug blades 19a and 19b and the spring contact pieces 14a and 14b on the case part 12 side. And the outer peripheral surface except the both ends of this relay conduction | electrical_connection terminal 26a, 26b is coat | covered with the insulating resin mold part (insulating material) 27a, 27b.

The relay conduction terminals 26 a and 26 b are slidably inserted into the holes 25 a and 25 b, and the leading ends of the relay conduction terminals 26 a and 26 b protrude from the side surfaces 22 a and 22 b of the plug body 20. In addition, the shape of the base part of plug plug blade 19a, 19b is provided with the step part in the part which relay conduction | electrical_connection terminal 26a, 26b contacts similarly to the Example of FIG.

As described above, the relay conductive terminals 26a and 26b protrude from the side surfaces 22a and 22b of the plug body 20, and the outer peripheral surfaces of the relay conductive terminals 26a and 26b are insulating resin mold portions (insulating materials) 27a and 27b. So that the relay conduction terminals 26a. There is no risk of electric shock even if the hand is touched on the outer peripheral surface of 26b.

Therefore, for example, when the plug body 20 inserted into the outlet is grasped and removed, the relay conduction terminals 26a. Even if a hand is brought into contact with the outer peripheral surface of 26b, since the outer peripheral surface is covered with the insulating resin mold portions 27a and 27b, an electric shock accident can be prevented in advance.

In the embodiment closely related to the present invention, it is preferable that the relay conduction terminals 26a and 26b are elastically urged toward the opening ends of the holes 25a and 25b. FIG. 7 shows an example of the configuration. In the figure, the relay conduction terminals 26a and 26b are always elastically biased by the conductive springs 28a and 28b in the direction from the fixed contact pieces 21a and 21b toward the spring contact pieces 14a and 14b.

The urging force of the springs 28a and 28b is set smaller than the urging force of the spring contact pieces 14a and 14b. For this reason, when the case portion 12 is detached from the plug body 20, the relay conduction terminals 26a and 26b are moved toward the opening ends of the holes 25a and 25b by the force of the springs 28a and 28b. As a result, the relay conductive terminals 26a and 26b are separated from the fixed contact pieces 21a and 21b and become non-conductive. In particular, by setting the biasing force of the springs 28a and 28b to a predetermined value or more, the relay conduction terminals 26a and 26b are automatically moved to the outside of the holes 25a and 25b and detached.

Therefore, when only the plug main body 20 is inserted into the outlet 6, the side surface 22a, 22b of the plug main body 20 does not or does not have the relay conduction terminals 26a, 26b causing electric shock. However, since the relay conductive terminals 26a and 26b are separated from the fixed contact pieces 21a and 21b and are in a non-conductive state, the plug body 20 can be safely removed.

Further, when the power plug 18 is used, that is, when the power plug 18 is in the use position with respect to the case portion 12, the relay conduction terminals 26a and 26b are attached to the spring contact pieces 14a and 14b by the springs 28a and 28b. It is energized. For this reason, the contact pressure of the relay conduction terminals 26a and 26b to the spring contact pieces 14a and 14b increases. Therefore, the electrical contact state between the fixed contact pieces 21a and 21b and the spring contact pieces 14a and 14b is always maintained well, and the quality performance of the power plug 18 is improved.

FIGS. 8A to 8C show still another embodiment closely related to the present invention. As shown in the figure, the fixed contact pieces 21a and 21b provided at the L-shaped tip side portions of the plug plug blades 19a and 19b at the base side have a length dimension equal to or greater than a predetermined value, and the side surface 22a of the plug body 20 , 22b. And although the front-end | tip part of this protrusion part is coat | covered with the insulating resin mold parts (insulating material) 30 and 30, nothing is coat | covered by the outer peripheral surface of the intermediate part of this protrusion part.

Thus, the outer peripheral surface of the intermediate part of the fixed contact pieces 21a and 21b is exposed to the outside. The spring contact pieces 14a and 14b are configured to elastically contact the exposed surfaces of the fixed contact pieces 21a and 21b. In the illustrated example, the spring contact pieces 14a and 14b are arranged in a direction orthogonal to the fixed contact pieces 21a and 21b, as shown in FIGS.

Accordingly, since the distal end portions of the fixed contact pieces 21a and 21b are covered with the insulating resin mold portions 30 and 30, there is no risk of electric shock even if a hand or the like contacts the distal end portions of the fixed contact pieces 21a and 21b. . Further, since the spring contact pieces 14a and 14b are elastically contacted with the fixed contact pieces 21a and 21b from the orthogonal direction, the electrical contact state between the fixed contact pieces 21a and 21b and the spring contact pieces 14a and 14b is always stable. Maintained.

Particularly, in the embodiment closely related to the present invention , as shown in FIG. 10, the resin mold portions 30 and 30 covering the tip portions of the fixed contact pieces 21a and 21b are provided on the outer peripheral surfaces of the fixed contact pieces 21a and 21b. Further, it can be integrally connected to the side surfaces 22a and 22b of the plug main body 20 via bridging portions (insulating materials made of synthetic resin) 31 and 31 having an arcuate transverse cross section. According to this configuration, since the fixing strength of the resin mold portions 30 and 30 is increased, there is no possibility that the resin mold portions 30 and 30 are detached from the distal ends of the fixed contact pieces 21a and 21b.

In this case, the circumferential angle of the cross-section arc shape of the bridging portions 31, 31 is set to an angle according to the rotation range of the plug body 20, for example, 270 degrees or 180 degrees. Accordingly, since the plug body 20 is allowed to rotate within a predetermined range with respect to the case portion 12, the plug body 20 can be smoothly rotated and displaced to the use position or the storage position.

Having described structure example of applying the embodiments that are closely related with the present invention the power plug revolvable, embodiments that are closely related with the present invention is applicable to power plug stationary. FIGS. 11 and 12 show a configuration example in which a configuration example closely related to the present invention is applied to a fixed power plug 32. In this embodiment , the plug plug blades 33 are fixed to the insulating plug body 34 by pinning or insert molding.

Further, the fixed contact pieces 35, 35 connected to the root portions of the plug plug blades 33, 33 are arranged so as to contact a movable contact piece (not shown) provided in the case portion 37 of the AC adapter 11. ing.

And the front-end | tip part of the said fixed contact pieces 35 and 35 is provided so that it may not protrude from the surface (step part) 34A of the plug main body 34, as shown to Fig.12 (a). According to this configuration, the fixed contact pieces 35, 35 provided on the plug main body 34 are formed in a concave structure, unlike the conventional fixed structure fixed contact pieces (see reference numeral 38 in FIG. 12B). Therefore, the fixed contact pieces 35 and 35 are not touched, and there is no risk of electric shock.

The present invention can be variously modified without departing from the spirit of the present invention, and the present invention naturally extends to the modified one.
