Description

The present invention relates to a cable with a branch provided with a main line cable and a branch line cable branched from the main line cable.

Conventionally, cables with branches have been used in buildings and condominiums. The cable with a branch includes a main line cable and a branch line cable that is branched and connected to the main line cable. The main line cable is laid vertically from the top floor to each floor, and is connected to each floor. A branch cable is laid.

。   The branch portion of a conventional cable with a branch is configured by electrically connecting the conductor of the trunk cable and the conductor of the branch cable, and then performing insulation by molding the portion with a vinyl chloride resin or the like. (For example, refer to Patent Document 1).

According to such a cable with a branch, branch processing is performed in advance at the cable manufacturing factory, so that labor saving and shortening of the construction period can be achieved compared to branch processing at the construction site. There is an advantage that high quality can be obtained stably.
JP 2003-70145 A

However, the cable with a branch has a problem that the cable length is long and difficult to carry and difficult to construct at the time of wire drawing. Moreover, the branch part molded by resin is larger than the outer shape of the cable, and the cable with the branch having such a branch part is difficult to pass through the ceiling of each floor or the through hole of the floor at the time of construction. Further, since the branch portion is molded, a large facility such as an injection molding machine has to be used, resulting in poor productivity. In addition, the conventional cable with a branch cannot cope with the case where the branch position and the number of branches of the branch line cable are different for each building or condominium, and it is necessary to manufacture a cable with a branch suitable for each. It is poor in mass production.

An object of the present invention is to provide a cable with a branch capable of improving workability at a construction site and improving productivity.

According to the first aspect of the present invention, the cable with a branch is composed of a main line split cable, a branch line cable, and a branch connection connector, and since these parts are transported to the construction site, they are easy to transport. Moreover, each said part is easy to handle in a construction site. Furthermore, the main line split cable is easy to pass through a through hole or the like, and the cable workability is good.

Further, since the main line split cable and the branch line cable are manufactured at the factory and assembled at the construction site, the manufacturing line of the factory can be shortened. And since it becomes possible to assemble a trunk split cable and a branch cable according to a predetermined branch position, the number of branches, etc. in a construction site, a standard product can be manufactured in a factory. From these things, productivity can be improved.

Hereinafter, an example of the best mode for carrying out the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
1 is a diagram showing a cable with a branch of this example, FIG. 2 is a diagram showing a state before assembling the cable with a branch shown in FIG. 1, FIG. 3 is a partially enlarged view of FIG. 2, and FIG. FIG.

In the figure, reference numeral 1 denotes a cable with a branch in this example. The cable with a branch is a trunk line cable 2 and a branch line cable 3 branched and connected to the trunk line cable 2 (four are shown in this example). And is configured.

The main line cable 2 is divided into a plurality of main line division cables 2 a, 2 b, 2 c, 2 d, and the main line division cables 2 a, 2 b, 2 c are connected by a branch connection connector 4. Each branch line cable 3 is connected to the branch connector 4. Further, the main line split cables 2 c and 2 d are connected by a joint connector 5.

The trunk line split cables 2a, 2b, 2c and 2d will be described in more detail. A connector portion 6 is provided at the terminal of each trunk line split cable 2a, 2b, 2c and 2d. This connector part 6 is provided only at one end of the main line dividing cable 2a, and is provided at both ends of the main line dividing cables 2b, 2c, 2d (the main line dividing cable 2d is shown only at one end). A lifting bracket 7 for lifting the branched cable 1 when laying the cable is provided at the other end opposite to the side where the connector portion 6 of the main line split cable 2a is provided.

The connector portion 6 will be described in detail with reference to FIG. In the following description, the connector portion 6 provided at one end of the main line split cable 2a will be described as an example, but the other connector portions 6 have the same configuration.

The connector portion 6 includes a connector terminal 8 and a connector housing 9 that houses and holds the connector terminal 8 and performs insulation. The connector terminal 8 is formed of copper, a copper alloy, or the like normally used as a terminal material. The connector terminal 8 is formed in a substantially cylindrical shape, and a hollow portion is partitioned by a partition wall 10 to be divided into two spaces. In one space, the connector terminal 8 is attached to the conductor 11 of the main line split cable 2a. The elastic member 12 made of copper or copper alloy is provided in the space on the other side.

The connector housing 9 is formed of a synthetic resin or the like and has a substantially cylindrical shape having a hollow portion having a diameter substantially the same as the diameter of the main cable split cable 2a. The connector terminal 8 is fitted in the hollow portion. The end of the main line split cable 2a is inserted.

The connector part 6 configured in this way is also provided at the end of each branch cable 3.

The branch connector 4 will be described in detail. The branch connector 4 includes a branch terminal 13 and a branch housing 14. Both of the branch terminal 13 and the branch housing 14 have a substantially H-shaped cross section. The branch terminal 13 is formed of copper, copper alloy, or the like, and has four columnar connection portions 15 that are inserted into the connector terminal 8 of the connector portion 6 and electrically connected to the connector terminal 8. . When the connection portion 15 is inserted into the connector terminal 8, the connection portion 15 is pressed and locked by being brought into contact with the elastic member 12, and is prevented from coming out of the connector terminal 8. The branch terminal 13 configured as described above is held in the branch housing 14 so as to be partially embedded in the branch housing 14 made of synthetic resin.

The branch housing 14 has four bottomed cylindrical insert portions 16 having hollow portions into which the connector housing 9 of the connector portion 6 can be inserted. And the said connection part 15 is located in the hollow part of this to-be-inserted part 16, respectively.

The joint connector 5 will be described with reference to FIG. The joint connector 5 connects only the main line split cables 2a, 2b, 2c, and 2d (in this example, the main line split cables 2c and 2d), and if necessary, the length of the main line cable 2 is adjusted. It is provided.

The joint connector 5 includes a cylindrical terminal 17 formed of copper or a copper alloy and a cylindrical housing 18 formed of synthetic resin. The housing 18 has a hollow portion partitioned by a partition wall 19 to form two space portions 20 and 21, and the terminal 17 is embedded in the partition wall 19 and held in the space portions 20 and 21. In the spaces 20 and 21, the connector housing 9 of the connector portion 6 provided at the end of the main line dividing cable 2c and the connector housing 9 of the connector portion 6 provided at the end of the main line dividing cable 2d are inserted, respectively. Can be done.

The terminal 17 is inserted into the connector terminal 8 and is electrically connected when the connector portions 6 and 6 of the main line split cables 2c and 2d are inserted into the space portions 20 and 21, respectively. The terminal 17 inserted into the connector terminal 8 is pressed and locked while being in contact with the elastic member 12, and is prevented from coming out of the connector terminal 8.

The cable with a branch 1 having the above-described configuration is obtained by connecting the main line split cables 2a, 2b and 2c via the branch connection connector 4 and connecting the main line split cables 2c and 2d via the joint connector 5 at the construction site. A main line cable 2 is formed, and a branch line cable 3 is branched and connected to the main line cable 2 via a branch connection connector 4 to assemble a cable 1 with a branch.

The assembly of such a branched cable 1 will be described a little more. When assembling the cable 1 with a branch, first, the main line split cables 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d and the branch line cable 3 provided with the connector portion 6 at the terminal are manufactured in advance in the factory, and these are transported to the construction site. And assemble. The main line split cables 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d are connected by the branch connection connector 4 and the joint connector 5 after passing through the through holes or the like of the floor or ceiling of each floor of the building or apartment where the cable is constructed.

The main line split cables 2a, 2b, 2c are connected to the branch connection connector 4 and the branch line cable 3 is connected to the branch connection connector 4 by connecting the main line split cables 2a, 2b, 2c and the connector part 6 of the branch line cable 3. This is done by connecting to the branch connection connector 4. More specifically, the connector housing 9 of the connector portion 6 is inserted into the inserted portion 16 of the branch connection connector 4, and the connection portion 15 of the branch terminal 13 is inserted into the connector terminal 8. When the connecting portion 15 of the branch terminal 13 is inserted into the connector terminal 8, the elastic member 12 in contact with the connecting portion 15 is elastically deformed, and the connecting portion 15 of the branch terminal 13 is pressed and locked by the elastic member 12. Thereby, it is prevented that the connector part 6 comes off from the branch connector 4. In addition, the main line dividing cables 2a, 2b, and 2c are in a conductive state, and the main line dividing cables 2a, 2b, and 2c and the branch line cable 3 are in a conductive state.

The main line split cables 2c and 2d are connected to the joint connector 5 by connecting the connector portion 6 of the main line split cables 2c and 2d to the joint connector 5. This will be described in detail. The connector housing 9 of the connector portion 6 is inserted into the space portions 20 and 21 of the joint connector 5, and the terminal 17 is inserted into the connector terminal 8. When the terminal 17 is inserted into the connector terminal 8, the elastic member 12 in contact with the terminal 17 is elastically deformed, and the terminal 17 is pressed and locked by the elastic member 12. This prevents the connector portion 6 from coming off from the joint connector 5. Further, the main line split cables 2c and 2d are brought into conduction.

The branched cable 1 of the present example described above is composed of main line dividing cables 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d, each branch line cable 3, branch connection connector 4, and joint connector 5 to the construction site. Since these parts are transported and assembled at the construction site, they are easier to transport and easier to handle at the construction site than conventional cables with branches that have been manufactured in advance in the factory. Moreover, since the assembly at the construction site is performed by connector connection, it can be easily connected, and labor saving and shortening of the construction period can be achieved.

In addition, the size of the connector portion 6 provided at the ends of the main line split cables 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d and the branch line cable 3 is not much different from the diameter of the cable, and it is easy to pass through a through hole at the time of construction. Good.

Further, since the main line dividing cables 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d and the branch line cable 3 are manufactured at the factory and assembled at the construction site, the manufacturing line of the factory can be shortened. And at the construction site, it becomes possible to assemble the main line split cables 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d and the branch line cable 3 in accordance with a predetermined branch position, the number of branches, etc., so that the factory manufactures standard products. And productivity can be improved.

Furthermore, the length of the main line cable 2 can be adjusted by connecting the main line split cables 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d with the joint connector 5 as required.

And according to the cable with a branch of this invention, it can respond to various branch patterns other than an example of the said embodiment. That is, the portion where the branch line cable 3 does not need to be connected is a connection between the trunk line split cables 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d using the joint connector 5, and the portion where the branch line cable 3 is connected is a branch connection. By using the connector 4 to connect the branch line cable 3 and the main line split cables 2a, 2b, 2c, and 2d, it is possible to cope with various branch patterns.

In the above embodiment, the branch terminal 13 and the branch housing 14 have a substantially H-shaped cross section. However, the shape is not limited to such a shape, and the connection portion of the branch terminal 13 and the branch housing 14 of the branch connection connector 4 are not limited thereto. You may increase the number of the insertion parts 16 rather than what was demonstrated in the said embodiment. Thereby, the number of branch line cables 3 connected to the branch connection connector 4 can be increased, and more branch line cables 3 can be branched from one branch part.
