しかしながら、前記従来例は、灰皿本体に設けられた吸殻受部が上側に向けられた使用可能位置と当該吸殻受部が下側に向けられた使用不能位置となるように、灰皿本体の姿勢を変更する場合、遊技者または作業者が、灰皿本体を遊技機枠の前面より後方に押し込み、灰皿本体と遊技機枠との係合を解除した後に、灰皿本体を遊技機枠の前面と沿う方向に回転する構造になっている。このため、遊技機枠の内部には、灰皿本体が後側に押し込まれた場合に、当該灰皿本体の後部と干渉しないで灰皿本体の後部を逃げるための空間を遊技機枠の内部に設定しておく必要がある。けれども、パチンコ機の場合、遊技機枠の灰皿本体と対応する内部には、球を遊技領域に向けて発射する発射機構や発射機構から打ち出された球を遊技領域に誘導する発射レールが設置される。このようなことから、発射機構や発射レールの設置に悪影響を与えることなく、上記空間を設定しなければならないので、にわかに採用しがたいという問題点があった。

また、本発明にあっては、灰皿本体の後部に回転中心を構成する灰皿軸体をねじで結合すれば、灰皿本体または灰皿軸体の少なくとも一方が損傷した場合に、それを容易に交換することができる。
