容器内の内容物を、必要に応じて適量取り出すには、従来、容器の開口部分に装着可能な手動式のポンプが適用されているが、定量注出が要求されるようなものを対象とする場合、かかるポンプでは、その注出精度が著しく劣ることから、この場合には容器本体の開口部から内容物を必要量のみを吸い上げる着脱式の定量ディスペンサーが使用されている。
