本例において、訪問ネットワークPDSNは、MSアクセス認証の間にMSのホームRADIUSサーバーから受信したDHCP中継命令に基づきMSホームネットワークにおける遠隔のDHCPサーバーにDHCPINFORMを中継する。DHCP中継は、DHCPホームサーバーのアドレスを含む。結果として、MSは、ホームネットワークにおいて遠隔のP−CSCFを見つけだす。再び図2を参照すると、ステップ1で、MSは、アクセス認証(シンプルIPに対するCHAP、又はモバイルIPに対するFAチャレンジ/レスポンス)を実行する。ステップ2では、アクセス認証は、PDSNに対して、訪問RADIUSサーバーを経由してMSのホームRADIUSサーバーにRADIUSアクセス要求を送るようトリガーをかける。このRADIUSアクセス−要求は、PDSNがDHCP中継エージェント能力を有していることを示す3GPP2ベンダー固有属性を含んでいる。
本例において、PDSNは、いかなるDHCP中継命令もない状態で、ローカルなDHCPサーバーにDHCPINFORMを中継する。結果として、MSは、訪問ネットワークにおいてローカルなP−CSCFを発見する。
図5に説明されているように、MSはモバイルIPを使用しており、逆方向トンネルも可能にされている。従って、PDSNは、全ての限定されたブロードキャストIPパケットの全て(DHCPINFORMを含む)を、MSのHAに転送することを要求される。これは、MSがDHCPサーバーと、つまりホームネットワークにおけるP−CSCFと通信することを効果的に強制する。
Claims (8)
- インターネットプロトコル(IP)通信をサポートする無線通信システムにおける移動局の動的プロビジョニングのための方法であって、
前記移動局において、
訪問ネットワークを用いてアクセス認証を開始することと、
前記訪問ネットワークのための動的ホストコンフィギュレーションプロトコル(DHCP)に関する能力を示すインジケーターを前記訪問ネットワークまたはホームネットワークから受信することと、
前記訪問ネットワークのためのサーバー設定情報を前記ホームネットワークから受信することと、
前記訪問ネットワークのサーバーを経由して通信を処理することと
を行う方法。 - 前記サーバーがセッション開始プロトコル(SIP)プロキシサーバーである請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記サーバーがプロキシ−コールステートコントロールファンクション(P−CSCF)である請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記移動局が更に、前記訪問ネットワークにアクセス要求メッセージを送信する請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記動的ホストコンフィギュレーションプロトコル(DHCP)に関する能力を示すインジケーターは、1ビットフィールドである請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記移動局が更に、プロキシ−コールステートコントロールファンクション(P−CSCF)に関する能力を示すインジケーターを受信する請求項1に記載の方法。
- 移動局装置であって、
コンピューター読取可能な命令を実行するコントロールプロセッサーと、
訪問ネットワークを用いてアクセス認証を開始し、
前記訪問ネットワークのための動的ホストコンフィギュレーションプロトコル(DHCP)に関する能力を示すインジケーターを前記訪問ネットワークまたはホームネットワークから受信し、
前記訪問ネットワークのためのサーバー設定情報を前記ホームネットワークから受信し、
前記訪問ネットワークのサーバーを経由して通信を処理する
ためのコンピューター読取可能な命令を格納するメモリ命令記憶保存装置と
を備える移動局装置。 - 移動局であって、
訪問ネットワークを用いてアクセス認証を開始する手段と、
前記訪問ネットワークのための動的ホストコンフィギュレーションプロトコル(DHCP)に関する能力を示すインジケーターを前記訪問ネットワークまたはホームネットワークから受信する手段と、
前記訪問ネットワークのためのサーバー設定情報を前記ホームネットワークから受信する手段と、
前記訪問ネットワークのサーバーを経由して通信を処理する手段と
を備える移動局。
