Description

The present invention relates to an ink replenishing tool for writing instruments. Further, the present invention relates to an ink replenishing tool for a writing instrument that replenishes ink in a pen tip upward (upright) state to a writing instrument (so-called batting type writing instrument) incorporating an ink occlusion body.

Conventionally, ink replenishment methods for writing instruments include replenishing ink by replacing the ink tank placed behind the writing instrument with a replacement ink cartridge, or refilling the writing instrument by sucking ink from the nib. The method etc. are used. Ink replenishment by replacing the ink tank is performed only for writing instruments with a specific structure (that is, writing instruments with removable ink tanks). It is widely applied to all padding writing instruments such as marking pens.
As an ink replenisher of the type that replenishes ink from the nib to the batting type writing instrument, for example, Patent Document 1 discloses a writing instrument that replenishes ink in a cap-like body provided at a tip opening of a flexible ink container. After the pen tip is hermetically fitted, the ink is replenished by pressing the body of the ink container.
Drawing and specification of Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 53-129444

The replenisher can easily replenish ink from the nib. However, since the user needs to adjust the ink replenishment amount by pressing the barrel, there is a risk of ink leakage due to excessive replenishment. It was. In addition, since the pen tip is brought into direct contact with the stored ink, the ink may adhere to the pen tip holding portion and become soiled, or may come off from the writing instrument during replenishment and cause ink leakage or scattering. Furthermore, it is difficult to change the air into the container (when the ink is replenished in the writing instrument) (the same amount of air as that of the replenished ink), and the replenishment time becomes longer. .

The present invention solves the above-described conventional problems, and provides an ink replenishing tool for a writing instrument that can replenish a certain amount of ink in a short time and does not cause ink leakage even when it is detached from the writing instrument during replenishment. It is to provide.

The present invention relates to an ink replenishing tool for a writing instrument that is attached between a writing instrument having a built-in ink occlusion body and a replenishing cartridge, and replenishes ink in the replenishing cartridge to the ink occlusion body through the pen nib in an upward state. A connecting portion that is airtightly fitted to the opening of the cartridge, a holding portion that holds a writing instrument below the connecting portion, an inner hole that penetrates the connecting portion in the axial direction, and an inner portion of the inner hole. A guide member that contacts the pen tip and guides the ink in the cartridge to the pen tip, and an air passage that supplies air into the cartridge as the ink is replenished from the pen tip into the ink occlusion body. Is a requirement. Furthermore, it is required that the guide member is made of a fibrous body or a porous body having a capillary force.

According to the first aspect of the present invention, a general-purpose ink cartridge can be applied and a fixed amount of ink contained in the cartridge can be replenished to the writing instrument, so that the user does not need to adjust the replenishment amount, and ink leakage due to excessive supply is prevented. No waking. Further, since air is immediately supplied into the cartridge as the ink is replenished, the ink can be replenished in the writing instrument in a short time. Further, the outer surface of the neck portion (the pen tip holding portion) of the writing instrument is not soiled by the adhesion of ink during replenishment.

According to the second aspect of the present invention, since the pen tip abutting portion of the guide member can be deformed, the pen tip can be brought into closer contact with the pen tip, and the position of the pen tip is displaced in the axial direction when the writing instrument is held. Will also be compatible.

An ink replenishing tool for a writing instrument according to the present invention is attached between a writing instrument having a built-in ink occlusion body and a replenishing ink cartridge, and a general-purpose refilling ink cartridge is used to direct ink in the cartridge upward. The ink occlusion body is replenished from the pen tip in the state (writing instrument upright state).
The writing instrument ink replenishing device has a connecting portion that is airtightly fitted with an opening of a refilling ink cartridge connected to the ink replenishing device, and the pen tip is in a position where it abuts the lower end portion of the guide member. A holding portion for holding a writing instrument to be refilled with ink is disposed below.
Further, the ink replenishing tool for the writing instrument is provided with an inner hole for supplying the ink in the cartridge downward in the axial direction, and a guide member for guiding the ink to the pen tip in the inner hole. However, the lower end portion of the guide member is provided at a position where it can come into contact with the pen tip. Further, an air passage is provided for supplying air into the cartridge which is in a depressurized state as ink is replenished.

When refilling the writing instrument with ink, the connecting part is airtightly fitted to the opened opening of the refilling ink cartridge and then turned upside down or connected to the opening of the refilling ink cartridge in the closed state. And the connection portion is pressed in the direction of the cartridge to open the plug portion of the cartridge, so that the ink in the cartridge flows into the inner hole of the ink replenishing tool for the writing instrument. At that time, the ink is temporarily held after reaching the lower end of the guide member via the guide member disposed in the inner hole.
Further, the writing tool is held by the holding portion, and ink replenishment into the writing tool is started by bringing the pen tip into contact with the lower end portion of the guide member. At this time, when the inside of the cartridge is depressurized as ink is supplied into the writing instrument, air is supplied into the cartridge via the air flow passage and the replenishment state is continued.
In addition, when the ink is flowed into the inner hole by connecting the cartridge to the connecting portion after the writing instrument is attached to the holding portion, the ink reaching the lower end portion of the guiding member is directly guided to the pen tip without being held, The writing instrument is replenished through the nib.

The connecting portion may have any material or shape as long as it has a shape that can be fitted in an airtight state with respect to the opening of the refilling ink cartridge.
Further, when the plug portion of the refilling ink cartridge to be used is of a type that is pushed in and released, the connection portion is formed to have a length that allows the cartridge plug portion to be pressed and released in a fitted state. Is done. At that time, it is preferable to provide a protruding piece for pushing or peeling at the upper end portion of the connecting portion (that is, the portion in contact with the plug portion) so that the plug portion can be easily opened.
Further, the connecting portion can be provided with a tapered ink inlet at the upper end, and a notch, a guide groove or the like for reliably performing air replacement can be provided in the upper portion or the outer peripheral portion.

The inner hole is vertically penetrated into the ink replenishing tool (connection part) for the writing instrument, and allows the ink in the replenishing ink cartridge supplied from above to flow to the pen tip of the writing instrument that is held downward. If possible, the shape and the like are not limited.
In addition, the guide member disposed in the inner hole prevents the ink distributed to the pen tip from scattering or leaking during replenishment and holds the ink in the inner hole in the guide member. Ink is supplied to the writing instrument when it comes into contact with the pen tip.
As the guide member, a member having ink holding force is appropriately used. In particular, a fibrous body or a porous body having a capillary force is preferably used, and a member having a smaller capillary force than the nib is applied.
The shape and length of the guide member is not limited as long as the guide member can be disposed in the inner hole at a position where the lower end portion of the guide member contacts the pen tip when the writing tool is held by the holding unit. Used.

When the shape of the guide member is the same as the cross-sectional shape of the inner hole and these are arranged in contact with each other, the cartridge is connected to the connecting portion and the pen tip is not in contact with the guide member, Even under excessive conditions such as centrifugation, ink leakage from the lower end of the guide member is unlikely to occur.
Further, when the shape of the guide member is different from the shape of the cross section of the inner hole, it is possible to use a gap generated between them as an air passage.

The air passage is a passage for taking outside air into the cartridge that is decompressed with ink replenishment, and is formed in the ink replenishing tool itself so as to be provided outside the inner hole in a state of non-communication with the inner hole, It can be provided by forming a gap between the inner hole and the guide member disposed in the inner hole.
One end of the opening portion of the air passage is arranged at a position where the connection portion communicates with the inside of the cartridge when the connecting portion is airtightly fitted to the cartridge, and the other is always air on the writing instrument side even in this state (airtightly fitted state). It is arranged at a position where it can be sucked.
The air passage has an inner diameter that is small enough to prevent ink from flowing out of the cartridge, so that ink does not leak out from below (air suction port).

The holding portion is a portion that holds the outer surface behind the pen tip of the writing tool at a position where the pen tip contacts the guide member, and has a shape that can be locked to the writing tool so that the pen tip does not come off from the guide member when refilling ink. Have.

The refilling ink cartridge is commercially available as a replacement ink tank applied to fountain pens, ballpoint pens, sign pens, etc., that is, a bottomed cylindrical body having an opening at one end and closed at the other end. Ink is stored in an ink container, and the opening is sealed with a stopper.
As the plug portion, any type such as a press-opening type, a screwing type (a type including a plug body attached by screwing), a fitting type (a type including a plug body attached by fitting), etc. Can also be used. Examples of the press-opening-type plug portion include a ball-shaped and flat-shaped plug body made of metal, resin, and a rubber member, and a thin-walled film body molded integrally with the cartridge. A structure that seals the opening and is opened by pressing is used.

As the ink contained in the cartridge, either water-based ink or oil-based ink can be applied. Besides general colored ink, fluorescent ink, metallic gloss ink, erasable ink for writing board, eraser erasable ink, etc. A general purpose one is used. As the ink storage amount, an amount corresponding to 30 to 60% of the maximum ink amount that can be held by the ink occlusion body built in the writing instrument to be replenished is stored. Thus, even when all the ink in the cartridge is replenished in the writing instrument, ink leakage due to excessive supply does not occur.

As a writing instrument that is replenished with ink using the ink replenishing tool, one that has a built-in ink occlusion body made of fiber or porous and has a pen tip connected to the ink occlusion body is applicable. As the pen tip, those having a capillary force such as a porous body, a fiber converging body, and an extruded body of a synthetic resin (so-called plastic pen) are used.

Further, in the ink refilling tool for a writing instrument, the holding portion may be a cap corresponding to the writing instrument that is refilled with ink. Thereby, while being able to hold | maintain a writing instrument reliably in the position where a nib contact | abuts a guide member, it can store without losing. Further, when not in use, since the pen tip and the guide member are in contact with each other, an effect of preventing the ink from descending from the pen tip can be imparted even if the pen tip is stored in an upward state.
Moreover, when applying as a cap, it is preferable to protect by providing a cap (second cap) that covers the connection portion side of the ink replenisher in an airtight state.
