Description

【0001】

[0001]
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a ceiling-embedded air conditioner having an improved structure for collecting water droplets generated in a ceiling-embedded air conditioner.
[0002]
[Prior art]
FIG. 7 is a sectional view of an indoor unit of a conventional ceiling-embedded air conditioner (hereinafter referred to as a ceiling-embedded air conditioner). In the figure, 1 is a blower fan, 2 is a heat exchanger, and is composed of heat exchangers 2a and 2b. 13 is a heat exchanger drain pan for collecting water droplets generated in the heat exchanger 2, 4 is a stabilizer, 15 is a casing, and includes an outer shell 15a and a heat insulating material (for example, polystyrene foam) 15b. Reference numeral 6 denotes an upper and lower vane for changing the air direction, and 7 is a suction port, which is composed of a suction port 7a on the heat exchanger 2a side and a suction port 7b on the heat exchanger 2b side. 8 is an air passage formed by the casing 15, 9 is a blowout port, and 10 is a box that houses the casing and the like.
[0003]
In this configuration, the room air sucked from the suction port 7 by the blower fan 1 during cooling is cooled by the heat exchanger 2, passes through the air passage 8, and is discharged from the blowout port 9.
At this time, water droplets generated in the heat exchanger 2 are collected in the heat exchanger drain pan 13. Further, since the casing 15 forming the air passage is cooled, a heat insulating material (for example, styrofoam) 15b having a heat insulating effect is used to prevent water droplets from being generated on the back surface of the casing 15 (upper side of the hatched portion in the figure). .
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the conventional ceiling-embedded air conditioner as described above, when the casing 15 is insufficiently insulated, water droplets are generated on the back surface of the casing 15 and also on the box body 10, and the water droplets are caused by the water droplets. The reliability of the machine is reduced, and if water drops accumulate in the water receiving part etc. in the middle of collecting the water drops in the drain pan, the water drops are cooled, and water drops due to condensation are generated on the outer surface of the water receiving part. Removal is difficult, and the structure of the casing 15 requires the heat insulating material 15b, so that the structure is not simple. Further, there is a problem in that the ceiling or the like to which the apparatus is attached is affected by water droplets.
[0005]
This invention was made to solve the problems as described above, does not use a heat insulating material, and with a simple configuration, water droplets generated in the casing and the box can be easily recovered during cooling, An object is to provide a ceiling-embedded air conditioner that can improve reliability, reduce the number of parts, reduce noise, and prevent the ceiling and the like from being affected.
[0006]
