Description

【0001】
携帯電話機には、通常LCD(Liquid Crystal Display)が筐体内部に実装され、筐体外部から視認できるように透明なアクリル樹脂やABS(Acrylonitrile Butaddiene Styrene)樹脂やポリカーボネイト樹脂などにより形成された表示用カバーを筐体に備える。

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a coating method that is difficult to peel off when a paint having an easily peelable property is applied, and a coated part and an electronic device that have been coated by this coating method.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In recent years, in various electronic devices, mirror coating using a mirror paint has been used for exterior parts. Hereinafter, the prior art will be described using a mobile phone as an example.
For mobile phones, LCDs (Liquid Crystal Display) are usually mounted inside the housing, and for display made of transparent acrylic resin, ABS (acrylonitrile butyrene styrene) resin, polycarbonate resin, etc. so that it can be seen from outside the housing A cover is provided on the housing. By the way, various coatings are applied to the casing of the mobile phone including this display cover to improve the aesthetic appearance. Hereinafter, the coating applied to the display cover will be described with reference to the drawings.
[0003]
FIG. 5 shows a display cover in a conventional mobile phone. In addition, the upper side of the figure is the outer surface of the casing of the mobile phone, and the lower side is the inner surface of the casing (that is, the side on which the LCD is provided). A mirror coating 502 is applied to the coating surface 503 inside the casing of the transparent acrylic member 501. This mirror coating is applied to the inner surface of the casing of the display cover, particularly on the peripheral edge. When the display cover is viewed from outside the casing, the peripheral edge of the display cover is given a mirror-like luster. It is provided to add glamorousness to the exterior and to make the LCD stand out.
[0004]
Next, mirror coating will be described with reference to FIG. The mirror paint used for mirror coating contains a metal powder 601 such as aluminum in addition to a fixing agent in a solvent, and after mixing these as uniformly as possible, the painted surface of the acrylic member 501 503 is applied. The concentration and the like of the solvent and the fixing agent are adjusted so that the metal powder 601 precipitates faster than the solvent volatilizes and the fixing agent hardens.
Each of the metal powders 601 is formed in a foil shape (a shape in which only one of the lengths of the x-axis, y-axis, and z-axis is extremely small). The thickness is accumulated in the vertical direction of FIG. Thereafter, the solvent is volatilized and the metal powder 601 is fixed to the painted surface 503 by the fixing agent. Thereby, from the outer side of the housing of the display cover, the surface on which the metal powder is uniformly accumulated can be seen through the acrylic member, and a mirror-like gloss can be obtained.
[0005]
However, mirror coating and the like eventually have a problem that the metal powder (metal foil) is applied to a different substance such as an acrylic member, so that the mirror coating is easily peeled off together with the metal foil. Furthermore, peeling in fine metal foil units was likely to occur. In particular, peeling of the metal foil was likely to occur at the outer peripheral portion of the mirror coating.
[0006]
Patent Document 1 discloses a reflection mirror using a technique related to prevention of peeling. This technique will be described with reference to FIG. A metal layer 702 is deposited on a substrate 701 such as polycarbonate. Here, in order to prevent peeling of the metal layer 702, the resin layer 703 is formed by further coating with a polyester resin or the like. Since an object does not come into direct contact with the metal layer 702, it is possible to obtain a reflection mirror in which cracks are less likely to occur.
[0007]
[Patent Document 1]
JP-A-5-100107
[0008]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
When a part is painted on the part to be painted, peeling of the paint occurs between the painted part and the non-painted part, and when the part is painted to the end of the part to be painted. It was easy.
[0009]
Further, according to the technique disclosed in Patent Document 1, since the resin layer 703 is formed on the metal layer 702, the strength at the outer peripheral portion of the metal layer is not compared with the state where the resin layer 703 is not provided. It is estimated that it will not improve.
[0010]
The present invention has been made in view of the above points, and provides a coating method that is difficult to peel off when applying a paint that easily peels off, a coated part that has been coated by this coating method, and an electronic device including the same. The purpose is to do.
[0011]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention is provided with a first covering layer containing a hard material and at least a part of the periphery of the first covering layer, which is made of a translucent material and forms a part of the casing. A coating member formed by coating a second coating layer, wherein a part of the first coating layer covers a part of the second coating layer, and the member to be coated is the second coating layer It has a notch part in the back surface facing the coating surface to which a layer is applied.
[0012]
Further, it is desirable that the hard material is made of a metal foil piece, and the hard material is densely packed on the coated member side in the first coating layer.
[0013]
In addition, the coating method of the present invention is made of a translucent material, and a first coating layer containing a hard material and at least one around the first coating layer are formed on a member to be coated that constitutes a part of the casing. In the coating method formed by applying the second coating layer provided on the part, the coating is performed so that a part of the first coating layer covers a part of the second coating layer, and the coating target A notch part is formed in the back surface opposite to the coating surface to which the said 2nd coating layer of a member is applied, It is characterized by the above-mentioned.
[0014]
An electronic apparatus according to the present invention is configured such that an opening provided on one surface of a casing is closed with a display cover, and light of the display section provided in the casing is configured to be visible through the display cover. The display cover is made of a translucent member, and is provided on the inner surface of the translucent member with a first coating layer containing a hard material on the peripheral edge of the viewing region, and at least the first cover. A second coating layer is provided on a part of the outer periphery of the coating layer, and a part of the first coating layer is coated so as to cover a part of the second coating layer, and the member to be coated is The second coating layer has a notch on the back surface facing the coating surface to which the second coating layer is applied.
[0016]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described using a mobile phone as an example with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 shows a mobile phone 100. The mobile phone 100 includes a speaker 101, a microphone 102, a key operation unit 103, and an antenna 104. An LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) 105 is mounted on an electronic board inside the housing, and is included. The display cover 106 prevents direct exposure to the outside while the LCD 105 is visible to the outside. Is fixed to the housing by bonding or the like. In addition, although not particularly illustrated, the mobile phone 100 includes a control unit mounted on an electronic substrate and is included in a housing, and controls the speaker 101 and the microphone 102, the key operation unit 103, the antenna 104, and the LCD 105.
[0017]
The user operates the key operation unit 103 to input the other party's telephone number while seeing the display through the display cover 106 through the LCD 105, and connected to the wireless communication network using the antenna 104 under the control of the control unit. Then, the speaker 101 and the microphone 102 can be used to make a call with a desired partner. The display cover 106 is formed with a transparent portion 1061 and a painted portion 1062, and prevents penetration of the adhesive surface with the housing when incorporated into the mobile phone 100, and acts as an exterior part to improve the appearance. .
[0018]
Next, an embodiment of the present invention when mirror coating is selected particularly for the coating portion 1062 and applied to the display cover 106 will be described with reference to the drawings.
[0019]
FIG. 2 shows a display cover 106 in the mobile phone of the present invention. In particular, FIG. 2A shows a front view of the surface (surface exposed to the outside), and FIGS. 2B and 2C show the xx ′ cross section and yy ′ in FIG. 2A, respectively. It is a figure which shows a cross section. As described in FIG. 1, the display cover 106 is formed with a transparent portion 1061 and a painted portion 1062, and the peripheral portion of the painted portion 1062 is applied to the surface from the display cover molding stage or by cutting. The cut surface 201 is provided at an angle of about 45 degrees. The painted portion 1062 is applied from the back surface (the surface that is not exposed to the outside when the housing is assembled) of the display cover 106.
[0020]
Next, the coating portion 1062 will be described with reference to FIG. FIG. 3 is an enlarged view of a portion of frame A in FIG. Two types of coating are applied to the back surface of the acrylic member 301 constituting the display cover 106 as a coating portion 1062. One is the mirror coating 302 and the other is the metallic coating 303.
[0021]
The acrylic member 301 is formed with the cut surface 201 described above, and the display cover 106 is inclined from the outside by the width B when the acrylic cover 301 is assembled as the display cover 106. A metallic coating 303 is applied to the width B portion. That is, the metallic coating 303 is applied immediately below the cut surface 201 in FIG. Next, the mirror coating 302 is applied to the inside of the metallic coating 303. In FIG. 2 a, after the outer peripheral portion is enclosed by the metallic coating 303, the inner portion is painted over the range of the painted portion 1062.
[0022]
In particular, the order of the coating is preferably the order in which the metallic coating 303 is applied and cured and then the mirror coating 302 is applied. As a result, as shown in FIG. 3, the inner side of the gentle mountain slope formed with the mirror coating 302 is formed. The mirror coating 302 is formed so as to slightly overlap the portion.
[0023]
The painting process will be described in further detail with reference to FIG. FIG. 4 is an enlarged view of the painted portion (frame C) in FIG. First, each paint will be described. Since the mirror coating was also described in the description of the prior art, the metal powder 401 (metal foil shape) stirred in the solvent and the fixing agent is precipitated after the mirror coating is applied, but many metal foils are applied. It cures after it has accumulated over the entire area.
[0024]
The metallic coating is used to obtain the metallic coating 303, and contains the metal powder 402 like the mirror coating. However, unlike the metal powder 401, the metal powder 402 has a larger thickness ratio than the metal powder 401, and the metal powder 401 is closer to the metal foil than the metal powder 402. Furthermore, the metallic paint has a shorter curing time and higher viscosity than the mirror paint. The metallic paint 402 is also applied after stirring the metal powder 402 in a solvent and a fixing agent. However, unlike the mirror paint, not only does the metal powder 402 harden in a state where it does not settle so much, but also the metal powder 402 is not thin, so it is difficult to settle uniformly on the bottom, and is flat enough to form a mirror with the precipitate. Don't be.
[0025]
Further, unlike the mirror paint, the member to be coated is slightly eroded as shown in FIG. 4 and the surface is not flat, so the contact surface becomes wider and the adhesive force is higher than that of the mirror paint. Further, when viewed from the coated member side, the metal paint 401 tends to form a uniform flat surface in the mirror paint, whereas the metal paint has a rough paint surface due to slight erosion, and the metal powder 402 Therefore, the reflection of light by the metal powder 402 is irregularly reflected, and a gloss unique to the metallic paint can be obtained.
[0026]
Next, as a coating procedure according to the present invention, first, metallic coating 303 is performed, and then mirror coating 302 is performed. The metallic paint has a feature that when exposed, the metal powder 402 slightly protrudes from the exposed part of the paint or the surface of the exposed part of the paint is not smooth due to the metal powder 402 floating in the paint. . After the metallic coating 303 is cured, the mirror coating 302 is performed so as to slightly overlap the metallic coating 303.
[0027]
In the mirror coating 302, after applying the mirror paint, the metal powder 401 is deposited on a portion where the metallic coating 303 is not applied. Further, the portion of the mirror coating 401 that overlaps the metallic coating 402 is hardened by including the protruding metal powder 402 and a portion of the non-smooth surface of the metallic coating 303.
[0028]
The coating as described above is performed on the display cover 106, and after being completely cured, the display cover 106 is incorporated into the mobile phone 100 as shown in FIG. As an assembling method, a double-sided tape of a size that fits under the painted portion 1062 is attached, and this double-sided tape is attached so as to cover the window portion to be exposed of the LCD 105 of the mobile phone 100. With this configuration, the mobile phone 100 including the display cover 106 that does not expose the double-sided tape can be obtained.
[0029]
In the present invention, when a paint that easily peels off, such as a mirror paint, is applied to a member to be coated such as the display cover 106, coating with a different kind of paint such as a metallic paint that does not easily peel off the peripheral portion of the coated surface. By enclosing in this way, it is possible to make it difficult to remove even a kind of paint that is easily peeled off.
[0030]
Also, with regard to the order of painting, since the mirror paint is applied after the peripheral part of the paint part is previously enclosed with a different kind of paint, the metal powder contained in the mirror paint spreads only within the enclosed range, so less metal A mirror-like coating can be obtained by the amount of powder. Furthermore, even if it is a coating that is easy to peel off, such as mirror coating, by applying it so that it partially overlaps within the range where different types of coating were performed, the surface that is smooth after coating of the different types of coating is obtained. Since a kind of paint that is easy to peel off enters and hardens, the coating power is further improved.
In addition, the outer peripheral portion of the display cover 106 opposite to the painted surface is inclined, and different types of coating are performed so as to fit within the portion immediately below the inclined surface. However, since it is difficult to see the coating just below due to the refraction of light, it is difficult to grasp that the coating portion 1062 is composed of different types of coating, and it does not impair the aesthetic appearance and is expensive like a mirror coating. The amount of paint used can be reduced, leading to cost reduction as electronic equipment. In addition, the inclination prevents the edge of the outer periphery of the display cover 106 from becoming sharp even after the display cover 106 is incorporated into an electronic device such as a mobile phone, thereby preventing injuries to the user. A change in the light entering and exiting the cover 106 improves the aesthetic appearance.
[0031]
In addition, as an example of the present invention, as a dissimilar coating, as an example, a mirror coating is used as a coating that is easy to peel off, and a metallic coating is used as a coating that surrounds the outer periphery. Any material can be used as long as it has a strong coating power. In addition to surrounding the outer periphery, the coating may be applied to only a part of the outer periphery so as to partially prevent peeling.
[0032]
As the selection of the colors of the different types of coatings, for example, for silver mirror coating, the metallic coating is preferably silver or gray. If the mirror coating is gold, it is preferable to use a recent color such as gold or yellow or orange for the metallic coating. By doing so, it is difficult for the user to recognize that the painted portion is made of different types of paint, and it is possible to prevent a decrease in aesthetics due to different paints.
[0033]
In addition, as an example of the electronic device according to the present invention, a straight-type mobile phone has been described as an example. No.
[0034]
【The invention's effect】
