【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、食品包装用のラップフィルムやアルミホイル等を巻回した巻筒体の収納箱に関する。特に、収納箱の蓋体を閉じた時の係止能力と開閉のし易さを維持しつつ巻筒体の出し入れ易さを向上させ、3つの機能を調和させた巻筒体収納箱に関する。

【従来の技術】
ラップフィルムやアルミホイルは芯体に巻回された巻筒体が箱に収納されている。例えば、特開2000−6961号公報のラップフィルム収納箱の使用時には、蓋体を開け、ラップフィルムを必要量引き出し、蓋体を閉じ、収納箱に設けられた切断具でラップフィルムを切断する。この一連の操作において、蓋体の閉まり具合が使い勝手を左右する重要な要因になっている。例えば、蓋体を十分閉め切らずにラップフィルムを切断した場合、切断時に切断具取り付け部位に大きな力が加わり収納箱が変形し切断性能が低下したり、ラップフィルムのカット端が収納箱内へ巻き戻り、次の使用の際に不都合が生じる。又、使用後蓋体が半開き状態であれば収納箱内へ虫、ほこりが侵入し衛生上問題となったり、収納箱が転がった場合巻筒体が飛び出すことがあった。

これらを防止する手段としては、収納室本体より僅かに外側に突出した突起、又は折れ線を介して収納室本体より外側へ延出した舌片を設け、且つ蓋体を閉めた時にそれらと重なる蓋体の内側の位置に、突起又は舌片を係止する部分を設けることで蓋体が浮き上がるのを防止したものが多い。突起又は舌片の位置は、側面又は前面の上部が多い。
突起を利用するものとして、例えば実開平3−75131号公報、実用新案登録第3018026号公報、特開平10−1142号公報、特開平10−258833号公報が挙げられる。実開平3−75131号公報では、前板両端部又は脇板の前縁部から箱体の左右方向又は前方へ延びる突出片を設け、蓋体の隅部と圧迫係止することで蓋体の浮き上がりを防止したものである。実用新案登録第3018026号公報は、前板上縁部に連接した縁折り片を箱体内側へ折り込んだ際に突縁を形成する切り込みを設け、蓋体内面に設けた凸加工上縁部と係合させて蓋体の浮き上がりを防止している。

特開平10−1142号公報では、箱体の両側壁に連なる折り込み片を折り込んだ際に突縁を形成する切り込みを設け、蓋体内面にその突縁を係止させる隙間を形成することで蓋体のはね上がりを防止するものである。又、特開平10−258833号公報では、側壁上縁に連続した折り込みフラップに前壁外面より僅かに突出する突出片を設け、蓋の重なる部分に係合する凹陥段部を形成するものである。

舌片を利用するものとして、例えば実開平4−89732号公報が挙げられる。実開平4−89732号公報では、本体側壁の頂縁部に外側下方へ垂下する舌片と蓋体側壁内面の舌片を係止する段部により蓋体の施蓋状態を確保するものである。

しかしながら、舌片により蓋体を係止するものは舌片の折れ具合が係止能力を左右する。つまり、舌片に折り癖がつき過ぎ立ち上がりが不十分であると蓋体の係止が不十分で浮き上がったり、舌片に折り癖がなく立ち上がり過ぎると蓋体との嵌合がきつく開け難い場合がある。突起を設けるものは、突出量は切り込みの形状で決まり、立ち上がりの状態は折り込み片を折り込んだ時点で決まり、舌片を設けるものより係止能力にばらつきが少ない。

突起を設けるもので、実開平3−75131号公報のように前板両端部又は脇板の前縁部から突起を突出させ蓋体を圧迫係止するものは、収納箱が板紙製の場合、蓋体の開け閉めを繰り返す毎に突起部分に層間剥離が生じて係止能力の耐久性がなくなる。又、実用新案登録第3018026号公報のように前板上部に突起を設けた場合は、前面上部を擦るようにラップフィルムを引き出す時に突起が引き出し性を阻害する。

又、特開平10−1142号公報、特開平10−258833号公報のように収納室の両脇上部から収納室側へ折り込み片を折り込むものは、何らかの理由で巻筒体を収納箱から出し入れする場合に折り込み片が邪魔になったり、特に巻筒体を収納箱に入れる時に巻筒体の端部により、折り込み片の先端が底面方向を向くように折り込まれる。この場合、折り込み片に設けられた突縁が蓋体内面に設けられた隙間と係合できないため、蓋体の浮き上がりを防止することができなくなる。更に、巻筒体からラップフィルムを引き出す際に折り込み片と巻筒体の端部が擦れ合うために引き出し性が阻害され、巻筒体が収納箱内から飛び出す場合がある。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
本発明は、このような従来の蓋体の係止手段が抱えている問題、つまり蓋体の係止能力と開閉のし易さと巻筒体の出し入れのし易さを調和させた巻筒体の収納箱を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明者らは、上記課題を達成するために鋭意検討した結果、本発明をなすに至った。
すなわち本発明は以下の通りである。
1) 前板(1)、底板(2)、後板(3)、脇板(8)、補助脇板(9)、(9′)の各面からなる上部が開口した収納室(12)と、蓋板(4)、掩蓋片(5)、掩蓋片脇板(10)、掩蓋片補助脇板(11)の各面からなる収納室を覆う方向に連接した開閉可能な蓋体(13)とで形成される直方体の箱体と、上記収納室(12)に収納される芯体(R1)と所定長さのフィルム(F)からなる巻筒体(R2)とで構成された巻筒体収納箱において、収納室(12)の開口部両脇上部から収納室側へ折り込み片(14)が脇板(8)の上縁部から折れ線(17)を介して延出され、その折れ線(17)部分には、折り込み片(14)が収納室側へ折り込まれた時に収納室外へ突出する突起(15)が形成されるように切り込み線(16)が形成されており、折れ線(17)を含む直線上の任意の点を(P)、点(P)を通る折れ線(17)の垂線が折り込み片(14)の先端部と交差する点を(T)、折り込み片(14)と脇板(8)が同一平面上にある状態で折れ線(17)を介して点(T)と線対称の点を(T′)、折れ線(17)に垂直で脇板(8)を2分割する直線を(Q)、脇板(8)上に投影される芯体(R1)の中心点(S)が直線(Q)上にのるようにし、点(T′)と点(S)を結ぶ直線と直線(Q)とがなす角度を(θ)とした場合に、点(P)と点(T)間の長さ(L)と、芯体(R1)の外径(D1)と収納室の高さ(H)との関係が(1)、(2)式を満たす形状であることを特徴とする巻筒体収納箱。

本発明が従来技術と最も相違するところは、従来技術が収納室の両脇上部から収納室側へ折り込み片を設けてそれを折り込んだ時に突起が形成されるのみであるのに対し、本発明はその突起を形成する折り込み片の形状、寸法を規定したことである。
上記従来技術と相違するところの本発明の構成要件の役割は、蓋体の係止能力と開閉のし易さを維持しつつ、巻筒体の出し入れのし易さを向上させ、3つの機能を調和させたものである。

以下、図に基づいて本発明を更に詳細に説明する。
図1は、本発明の一実施例を示すもので、巻筒体収納箱の蓋体(13)が約90°以上開いた状態を示す立体模式図である。図2は、本発明の収納箱の一例を示す展開図である。図3の(a)は、折り込み片(14)が脇板(8)の上縁部から延出した場合で、折れ線(17)を含む直線上の任意の点(P)における折り込み片(14)の長さ(L)、又(b)は、折り込み片(14)が補助脇板(9′)から延出した場合で、折れ線(17)を含む直線上の任意の点(P)における折り込み片(14)の長さ(M)と、収納箱の高さ(H)、芯体(R1)の外径(D1)、巻筒体(R2)の外径(D2)の関係を示す拡大図である。図4は、脇板(8)の上縁部から延出した折り込み片(14)と突起(15)の形状を変更した一例を示す拡大図である。図5は、突起(15)の先端部が蓋体の開け閉め時に接触する部分の蓋体内側の掩蓋片補助脇板(11)に凹凸加工を施した一例を示す拡大図である。図6は、本発明の収納箱の別の一例を示す展開図である。図7は、補助脇板(9′)の上縁部から延出した折り込み片(14)と突起(15)の形状を変更した一例を示す拡大図である。

本発明の一例を示す図1において、収納箱は前板(1)、底板(2)、後板(3)、及び脇板(8)、補助脇板(9)、(9′)の各面で形成される上部が開口した収納室(12)と、その収納室(12)の後板(3)の上端縁から開閉可能で収納室(12)を覆う方向に連接した蓋板(4)と、その蓋板(4)の前端縁から前板(1)を覆う方向に延出した掩蓋片(5)と、掩蓋片脇板(10)、掩蓋片補助脇板(11)の各面で形成される蓋体(13)からなる直方体状の箱体である。この収納箱には、フィルム(F)を切断するための切断具(K)が配備され、収納室(12)に収納された巻筒体(R2)から必要量フィルムを引き出し切断して使用される。切断具の形状は、直線状、V状等、材質も金属、バルカナイズドファイバー等特に制限はない。又、切断具が配備されている部位は、図1に示す掩蓋片(5)の先端縁部、前板(1)の上端縁部、底板(2)と前板(1)の間の稜線部等のいずれでも構わない。

本発明は蓋体を係止する手段として折り込み片による突起を採用した。舌片の場合は前述の通り折り癖が蓋体の係止状態を左右し、折り癖が強い場合は蓋体の開閉は問題ないが係止が不完全で蓋体が浮き上がる場合がある。逆に折り癖が弱い場合は蓋体の係止は十分であるが、開閉が硬い場合がある。
本発明の折り込み片(14)の位置は、図1に示すように両脇上部から折れ線(17)により収納室側に延出されており、突起(15)は折れ線部分に収納室の外側方向へ突出した状態で設けられる。両脇上部から折り込み片を設ける手段としては、脇板(8)、補助脇板(9)、補助脇板(9′)の3箇所のうちから連接することが考えられるが、補助脇板(9)から延出させる場合は掩蓋片脇板(10)との位置関係から形状寸法に制限がある。その点では、図2に示すように脇板(8)から延出しているものは制約がなく好ましい。更に図6に示す補助脇板(9′)から延出しているものは縁折り片(7)の巻筒体の飛び出しを防止する効果との相乗効果があり好ましい。

折り込み片と突起は脇板(8)又は補助脇板(9′)に対しほぼ直角に延出することが好ましい。消費者が使用する時に蓋体を係止する能力がなくなることもなく、ラップフィルムを引き出す時に引き出し性を阻害することもない。
突起(15)の形状は、半円形状、コの字状、台形状、三角形状、波形状等特に制限はない。折り込み片の根元の折れ線部分に例えばコの字状の切り込み線を形成し、箱組立時に折り込み片を折れ線に沿って折ることで、突起が自然に形成されるものが好ましい。折れ線部分の加工は罫線、ミシン目、半切れ線によるものが好適である。更に、図4の一例に示したように突起(15)を形成する切り込み線(16)の両端を折れ線(罫線やミシン目等)で繋いだり、その両端近傍に切り込み線を加工しても良い。これにより蓋体(13)を開け閉めする時の抵抗が軽減される。又、蓋体を開ける時の引っ掻き音が発生しにくくなる、又は小さくなる傾向がある。

この突起が収納室外方へ突出する長さは、収納室(12)と蓋体(13)各々の長手方向の長さの関係によるが、通常は1〜3mmが好ましい。1mm未満では蓋体を係止する効果が小さく、3mmを越えると蓋体が閉じられた時に突起へ掛かる圧迫が大きくなるため、突起が変形や破損する恐れがある。突起の根元近傍部分の幅(最大幅)は特に制限はないが、折り込み片(14)の幅に対して80〜20%の幅が好ましい。80%を越えると折り込み片(14)と脇板(8)、又は補助脇板(9′)との繋がりが不十分であるため蓋体の開け閉め操作により破損する恐れがあり、20%未満では蓋体を係止する効果が小さい。

蓋体(13)を閉じた時、突起(15)と重なる蓋体の内側の部分にそれを係止する嵌合部(18)が形成されていることが好ましい。嵌合部としては、掩蓋片脇板(10)と掩蓋片補助脇板(11)が貼合されることで生じる凹凸段差が効果的であり突起(15)が係止され蓋体(13)は浮き上がりにくくなる。この嵌合部は蓋体(13)の開け閉めの際、適度な抵抗を生じさせ、蓋体(13)を閉めて突起がこの嵌合部に係止する時に音が発生し、使用者にとって蓋体が完全に閉まったことが音で確認でき、ラップフィルムの巻き戻りや巻筒体の収納箱からの飛び出しを防止することに役立つ。嵌合部の形状は、特に制限はないが、突起が入り込んだ時に音が発生するような段差部分があれば良い。

更に、図4の一例に示したように突起(15)を形成する切り込み線(16)の両端を折れ線(罫線やミシン目等)で繋いだり、その両端近傍に切り込み線を加工した場合は、蓋体(13)を閉じた時に発生する音がより明瞭化されるので好適である。又、図5に示したように突起(15)の先端部が蓋体の開け閉め時に接触する部分の蓋体内側の掩蓋片補助脇板(11)に直線状又は曲線状、或いは細かな粒状の凹凸加工等を施しても良い。これらの加工により突起先端と蓋体内側とが接触している時の力が分散されるので、蓋体を開ける時の引っ掻き音が発生しにくくなる、又は小さくなる傾向がある。

尚、突起の耐久性を強化するため、又は蓋体を閉じた時に発生する音を更に明瞭化させるため、突起の部分に硬化性樹脂を塗布、又は含浸しても良い。又、収納箱が板紙製の場合で蓋体を開ける時に硬い場合は、折り込み片の先端縁に細かな切り込みを入れることで蓋体を開け易くさせても良い。
該折り込み片(14)が、脇板(8)の上縁部から延出している場合は、折れ線(17)を含む直線上の任意の点を(P)、点(P)を通る折れ線(17)の垂線が折り込み片(14)の先端部と交差する点を(T)、折り込み片(14)と脇板(8)が同一平面上にある状態で折れ線(17)を介して点(T)と線対称の点を(T′)、折れ線(17)に垂直で脇板(8)を2分割する直線を(Q)、脇板(8)上に投影される芯体(R1)の中心点(S)が直線(Q)上にのるようにし、点(T′)と点(S)を結ぶ直線と直線(Q)とがなす角度を(θ)とした場合に、点(P)と点(T)間の長さ(L)と、芯体(R1)の外径(D1)と収納室の高さ(H)との関係が、L<H−(1+cosθ)×D1×0.5(−90°≦θ≦90°)を満たす先端形状であることが必要である。

本発明の収納箱に使用される材質としては、各種段ボール、坪量100〜600g/m2程度の板紙、プラスチックスの成型品等特に制限はないが、段ボールの場合はいわゆるマイクロフルートと称される厚みが1.20〜0.46mm程度のE、F、G、M、Nフルートの段ボールが好適である。これらのマイクロフルートを用いる場合は段ボールの段目方向と収納箱の長手方向とが互いに垂直であることが好ましい。又、板紙の場合は坪量350〜550g/m2程度の板紙がより好ましい。

本発明の収納室の高さ(H)は特に制限はないが40〜60mmのものが好ましい。又、芯体の外径(D1)と巻筒体の外径(D2)は芯体にフィルムを所定の長さ巻回した状態で収納室に収まる範囲であれば特に制限はない。
本発明の収納箱に収納される巻筒体に巻回されるフィルムは、各種樹脂製ラップフィルム、アルミホイル、クッキングペーパー等特に制限はないが、ポリ塩化ビニル、ポリ塩化ビニリデン、ポリエチレン等のラップフィルムが好ましい。
又、本発明の芯体は、紙製、プラスチック製等特に制限はない。

【発明の実施の形態】
次に、本発明で用いる評価の方法と評価基準について以下に示す。
《蓋体係止性》
実施例又は比較例に記載の収納箱に外径37mm長さ307mmの紙管に30cm幅のフィルムを20m巻いた巻き外径41mmの巻筒体を収納した。蓋体を開け、そのフィルムを30cmほど引き出し、蓋体を閉め、切断具で切断し、蓋体の閉まり具合を評価した。この操作を10回繰り返し、1回も蓋体が浮き上がらないものを○(優れた係止性)、1回以上3回未満を△(実用上問題なし)、3回を越えるものを×(実用不可能)とした。

《蓋体の開閉のし易さ》
実施例又は比較例に記載の収納箱の蓋体の開け閉め操作を実施して評価した。
蓋体を開け閉めする時に殆ど抵抗がないものを○(優れた開閉性)、蓋体を開ける時に抵抗があるものを△(実用上問題なし)、蓋体を閉める時も開ける時も抵抗があるものを×(実用不可能)とした。
《巻筒体の出し入れ易さ》
