【0040】
<実験例>

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an ionized gas sensor.
[0002]
[Prior art]
2. Description of the Related Art At present, so-called “ionization smoke detectors” that notify a fire by detecting smoke particles indicating the occurrence of a fire are known as fire alarm equipment in offices and factories, for example.
[0003]
Such an ionization type smoke sensor has two chambers, one of which is a measurement chamber into which a gas to be detected is to be introduced, and the other chamber is a change in environmental conditions. Compensation room to compensate for the effects of
[0004]
A radiation source is provided in each of the measurement chamber and the compensation chamber. Normally, the gases in the measurement chamber and the compensation chamber are ionized by alpha rays emitted from the radiation source and have the same size in different directions. An ionizing current is generated, which maintains an equilibrium between the compensation chamber and the measurement chamber.
If the gas introduced into the measurement chamber contains different particles such as smoke particles, alpha particles from the radiation source are absorbed by the different particles, and the ionization current in the measurement chamber is reduced. Since the equilibrium state with the compensation chamber is broken, by detecting this change in ionization current above a certain level, for example, the occurrence of a fire or the leakage of harmful gas is sensed and an alarm signal is issued.
[0005]
Thus, when the ionization smoke sensor as described above is used in an atmosphere of high alcohol concentration, for example, the behavior becomes unstable, and it becomes difficult to detect foreign particles with high accuracy. There is a problem.
As a result of investigating the cause of such a problem, it was found that sufficient airtightness between the measurement chamber and the compensation chamber was not ensured.
[0006]
Further, in the ionization type smoke detector as described above, when the gas is introduced into the measurement chamber by suction means such as a pump, the situation of the inflow of the gas introduced into the measurement chamber fluctuates. Since the detection current fluctuates and becomes noise, there is a problem that the S / N ratio is lowered, and eventually it is difficult to detect gas particles with high accuracy.
[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The present invention has been made based on the circumstances as described above, and the object thereof is to detect a detection target gas with high accuracy and to obtain high operational reliability, and thus high stability. It is an object of the present invention to provide an ionized gas sensor having characteristics.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The ionized gas sensor according to the present invention includes a measurement chamber and a compensation chamber formed by being separated from each other by a plate-shaped substrate and two chamber forming members, and a radiation source is provided in each chamber. In addition, an internal electrode plate having an opening formed therein is provided so that a part of the radiation source is exposed through the opening, and a gas to be detected is introduced into a measurement chamber located on one side of the substrate. And an ionization type gas sensor in which a discharge port is formed and a suction means is connected to the discharge port,
On one surface side of the substrate, an airtight seal structure is formed by a seal member between the substrate and the chamber forming member, and the opening diameter of the internal electrode plate in the measurement chamber is the internal diameter of the compensation chamber. It is characterized by being 5-30% larger than the opening diameter of the opening of the electrode plate.
[0009]
In the ionization type gas sensor of the present invention, each of the internal electrode plates is fixed in a state of being electrically connected by a metal fixing member penetrating the base, and is fixed on one surface side of the base. It is preferable that a sealing material is disposed in the insertion hole through which the member passes to form an airtight seal structure between the internal electrode plate and the base.
[0010]
[Action]
According to the ionization type gas sensor of the present invention, since the measurement chamber is substantially hermetically separated from the compensation chamber, the gas in the measurement chamber does not flow into the compensation chamber. As a result, the difference in ionization current to be detected can be sensed with high reliability. Moreover, since more alpha rays are radiated to the measurement chamber than the compensation chamber, the absolute value of the output signal is increased, and as a result, the S / N ratio can be improved. Therefore, the detection target gas can be detected with high accuracy.

[0040]
<Experimental example>
Hereinafter, although the experimental example of the ionization type gas sensor of the present invention will be described in detail, the present invention is not limited thereto.
According to the configuration shown in FIG. 3, a gas sensor was manufactured in which the opening areas (27A, 27B) of the internal electrode plates (26A, 26B) of the measurement chamber (31) and the compensation chamber (32) were the same. . This is referred to as “gas sensor A”. This gas sensor A has an internal space of about 20 cm 3 in each of the measurement chamber (31) and the compensation chamber (32), and the openings (27A, 27B) of the internal electrode plates (26A, 26B). The aperture is 2.0 mm and the radiation source (25A, 25B) is 2.5 mm square americium 241.
[0041]
According to the following Table 1, a gas sensor having the same configuration as that of the gas sensor A is manufactured except that the opening diameter of the opening (27A) of the internal electrode plate (26A) in the measurement chamber (31) is changed. did. These are referred to as “gas sensor B” and “gas sensor C”, respectively.
[0042]
For each gas sensor A to C, the applied voltage to the upper shell (33) is + 2.5V, the applied voltage to the lower shell (34) is -2.5V, and the gas concentration is the test gas. A gas particle detection test is performed by introducing 15 ppm tetraethoxysilane gas (TEOS gas) into the measurement chamber (31) at a gas flow rate of 150 cm 3 / min. Each gas with respect to the output voltage of the gas sensor A The output power ratio of the sensors B and C was calculated. The results are shown in Table 1.
[0043]
[Table 1]
[0044]
As described above, in relation to the opening diameter of the opening of the internal electrode plate in the compensation chamber, it was confirmed that the output voltage was increased by increasing the opening diameter of the internal electrode plate in the measurement chamber. In addition, it is expected that the S / N ratio is improved by about 10% or more.
[0045]
【The invention's effect】
According to the ionization type gas sensor of the present invention, since the measurement chamber is substantially hermetically separated from the compensation chamber, the gas in the measurement chamber does not flow into the compensation chamber. As a result, the difference in ionization current to be detected can be sensed with high reliability. Moreover, since more alpha rays are radiated to the measurement chamber than the compensation chamber, the absolute value of the output signal is increased, and as a result, the S / N ratio can be improved.
Therefore, it is possible to detect the detection target gas with high accuracy, for example, even when an emergency such as the occurrence of a fire or leakage of harmful gas occurs, it is possible to reliably notify in the initial stage, and high Safety is obtained.
