筒枠と、突き出し障子とを備え、筒枠は、屋内側及び屋外側が開口した筒状部と、筒状部の屋外側開口端部の下部に設けてあり外壁よりも屋外側に位置する屋外側水切り部と、筒状部の内周面における屋内側開口端部に周方向に連続して設けた堰部と、筒状部の内周面上部で堰部よりも屋外側の位置に垂下した内部水切り部と、筒状部の屋内側開口端部の外周面に周方向に連続して設けた内壁見切り部と、筒状部の外周面に設けた躯体取付部とを有する鋳物製であり、筒状部は内部空間の断面積が屋内側から屋外側に向けて徐々に広くなっており、突き出し障子は内部水切り部と堰部との間に配置して筒枠内に開閉自在に取付けてあり、閉じたときに屋内側面が堰部の屋外側面に当接することを特徴とする窓。
