Description
Claims (9)
- 第1の装置と第2の装置の間の距離を求める方法であって、
前記第2の装置において、
第1および第2の成分をともに含む信号を送信するステップであって、前記第1の成分が第1の繰返し符号を有し、前記第2の成分が第2の繰返し符号を有し、前記第1の繰返し符号と第2の繰返し符号の継続時間が等しくない、ステップと、
該信号が前記第1の装置により受信され再送信された後の信号を受信するステップと、
前記第1および第2の繰返し符号を検出するステップと、
検出された前記第1および第2の繰返し符号から、前記距離の第1および第2の指示値をそれぞれ求めるステップと、
前記距離の前記第1および第2の指示値を比較するステップと、
前記距離の前記第1および第2の指示値が所定の許容範囲内で等しいことに応答して前記距離の第3の指示値を生成するステップと
を有する方法。 - 前記第1および第2の繰返し符号のそれぞれの前記継続時間が、互いに素の関係にある2つの数に比例している、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 距離の前記第1および第2の指示値の少なくとも一方が前記信号の伝搬時間の指示値である、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 第1の装置及び第2の装置を備え、距離を求めるシステムであって、
前記第1の装置は、信号を受信する手段と、該信号を再送信する手段とを有し、
前記第2の装置は、
第1および第2の成分をともに含む信号を生成し送信する手段であって、前記第1の成分が第1の繰返し符号を有し、前記第2の成分が第2の繰返し符号を有し、前記第1の繰返し符号と第2の繰返し符号の継続時間が等しくない、手段と、
送信された信号を受信した前記第1の装置が再送信した後の信号を受信する手段と、
前記第1および第2の繰返し符号を検出する手段と、
検出された前記第1および第2の繰返し符号から、前記距離の第1および第2の指示値をそれぞれ求める手段と、
前記距離の前記第1および第2の指示値を比較する手段と、
前記距離の前記第1および第2の指示値が所定の許容範囲内で等しいことに応答して前記距離の第3の指示値を生成する手段と
を備える距離を求めるシステム。 - 前記第1および第2の繰返し符号のそれぞれの前記継続時間が、互いに素の関係にある2つの数に比例している、請求項4に記載のシステム。
- 距離の前記第1および第2の指示値の少なくとも一方が前記信号の伝搬時間の指示値である、請求項4または5に記載のシステム。
- 自装置と他の装置との間の距離を求める装置であって、
第1および第2の成分をともに含む信号を生成し送信する手段であって、前記第1の成分が第1の繰返し符号を有し、前記第2の成分が第2の繰返し符号を有し、前記第1の繰返し符号と第2の繰返し符号の継続時間が等しくない、手段と、
送信された信号を受信した前記他の装置が再送信した後の信号を受信する手段と、
前記第1および第2の繰返し符号を検出する手段と、
検出された前記第1および第2の繰返し符号から、前記信号の伝搬距離の第1および第2の指示値をそれぞれ求める手段と、
前記伝搬距離の前記第1および第2の指示値を比較する手段と、
前記伝搬距離の前記第1および第2の指示値が所定の許容範囲内で等しいことに応答して前記伝搬距離の第3の指示値を生成する手段と
を備える距離を求める装置。 - 前記第1および第2の繰返し符号のそれぞれの前記継続時間が、互いに素の関係にある2つの数に比例している、請求項7に記載の装置。
- 第1および第2の成分をともに含む信号を生成し送信する前記手段が、
前記第1の成分に同相の局部発振器信号を乗算する手段と、前記第2の成分に直交位相の局部発振器信号を乗算する手段と、得られた積を合計する手段とをさらに備える、請求項7に記載の装置。
