Description

【0001】

【0049】

Figure 0004451048
【0050】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a water vapor generator that can supply moisture to a nasal cavity, mouth, throat, etc. in a short time to moisturize them and enhance a feeling of relaxation.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As a method of supplying water vapor to the nasal cavity, mouth, throat, etc., there is a method of generating water vapor using an electric heater or ultrasonic waves. However, these methods are not always available at any place.
[0003]
On the other hand, a method using a composition that contains a metal powder such as iron powder, an oxidizing aid, water, activated carbon, and a water retention agent, generates heat by air oxidation of the metal powder, and generates water vapor with the generated heat. This is disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 62-172907 (a heating element for curling hair). However, this heating element is intended to supply heat and water vapor to the hair and curl it, so even if it uses this heating element to supply water vapor to the nasal cavity, mouth, throat, etc. The amount of water vapor is insufficient and the feeling of relaxation cannot be enhanced sufficiently.
[0004]
A heating element composition comprising a metal powder such as iron powder and a reaction accelerator such as saline and activated carbon is generally called a chemical warmer and is used for warming the human body. The heating element composition that constitutes heats gently. Therefore, this heating element composition takes a long time to reach the maximum temperature, and is not preferable as a means for supplying water vapor to the nasal cavity, mouth, throat, etc. quickly.
[0005]
On the other hand, as a heating element composition that generates heat in a short time, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2-182205 (high-temperature short-time heating agent and exothermic hair-styling device) includes iron powder 70 to 75% by weight, activated carbon 2 to 4% by weight. , 20 to 23% by weight of a moisture retaining material (8 to 9 parts by weight of a salt solution 8 to 15% by weight and 0.5 to 2 parts by weight of an acrylic water-absorbing polymer) and 0.1 to 1% by weight of a hydrogen generation inhibitor Things have been proposed. However, although this heating element composition generates heat in a short time, the amount of water vapor is insufficient to moisten the nasal cavity, mouth, throat and the like. Therefore, even if this heating element composition is used to moisturize the nasal cavity, mouth, throat, etc., the feeling of relaxation cannot be sufficiently enhanced.
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In view of such prior art, the present invention uses a composition that generates heat due to the oxidation reaction of metal powder and generates water vapor, and supplies water vapor to the nasal cavity, mouth, throat, and the like. It is an object of the present invention to start supplying a sufficient amount of water vapor in a short time after air is mixed, and to maintain a predetermined water vapor supply amount for a certain period of time.

[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present inventors seemed to release 2 g or more of water vapor in 15 minutes, particularly 30 mg or more of water vapor in 15 minutes per 1 cm 2 of the moisture permeable surface of the water vapor generating body from the water vapor generating material filled in the bag with the water vapor generating composition. Then, a sufficient amount of water vapor can be supplied to the nasal cavity, mouth, throat, etc., and for that purpose, a water vapor generating composition containing metal powder, water, salts and water-absorbing polymer in a specific ratio should be used. Is effective, and the bag body filled with the water vapor generating composition has a moisture permeable surface having a specific moisture permeability on at least one surface, and the filling rate of the water vapor generating composition into the bag body is also within a specific range. I found it effective.
[0008]
That is, the present invention is a water vapor generating composition containing metal powder 25 to 60% by weight, water 25 to 60% by weight, salts and a water absorbing polymer, and generating water vapor by oxidation reaction of the metal powder, Provided is a water vapor generating composition in which the weight ratio of water (water-absorbing polymer / water) is 1/5 to 1/3, and metal powder is attached to the water-absorbing polymer.
[0009]
Further, the present invention is a water vapor generating body in which a bag body is filled with the above-mentioned water vapor generating composition, wherein at least one surface of the bag body is composed of a moisture permeable surface with a moisture permeability of 7000 to 15000 g / m 2 / 24Hr. The water vapor generating composition has a filling density of 0.1 to 0.4 g / cm 2 , and provides a water vapor generating body that releases 2 g or more of water vapor in 15 minutes, in particular, 15 minutes per 1 cm 2 of the moisture permeable surface. A water vapor generator that releases 30 mg or more of water vapor is provided.
[0010]
Furthermore, the present invention provides a mask in which the water vapor generator described above is incorporated.
[0011]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. In each figure, the same numerals indicate the same or equivalent components.
[0012]
The steam generating composition of the present invention contains metal powder, water, salts and a water-absorbing polymer, and generates heat by the oxidation reaction of the metal powder with oxygen in the air, similar to a heating element composition called a chemical warmer, The water in the system is released as water vapor by the heat generation.
[0013]
Here, examples of the metal powder include iron powder, aluminum, zinc, copper, lead and the like, and iron powder is particularly preferable from the viewpoint of economy. Moreover, 1-500 micrometers is preferable and, as for the average particle diameter of metal powder, 10-100 micrometers is more preferable. The content of the metal powder is 25 to 60% by weight, preferably 35 to 55% by weight.
[0014]
The water content is 25 to 60% by weight, preferably 30 to 50% by weight. If the water content is too low, it will not be possible to secure a sufficient amount of water vapor generation time. On the other hand, if the water content is too high, it will take a long time to generate water vapor after the water vapor generating composition is placed under air. .
[0015]
As the salts, alkali metal halides are preferable, and sodium chloride and potassium chloride are particularly preferable. The salt content is preferably 0.2 to 6% by weight, more preferably 0.7 to 4% by weight.
[0016]
The water-absorbing polymer absorbs water and then attaches metal powder to its surface, thereby ensuring a sufficient contact area of the metal powder with air and water to promote the oxidation reaction and further facilitating the generation of water vapor. To contain. As this water-absorbing polymer, it is preferable to use a spherical polymer such as acrylic acid. When an acrylic acid polymer is used, the residual monomer is preferably 100 ppm or less in order to suppress adverse effects on the human body. The average particle diameter of the water-absorbing polymer is preferably 350 μm or less, particularly preferably 250 μm or less.
[0017]
In the present invention, the weight ratio of the water-absorbing polymer to water (water-absorbing polymer / water) is 1/5 to 1/3. Thereby, an appropriate amount of metal powder can be adhered to the water-absorbing polymer, and the oxidation reaction of the metal powder can be promoted. If this ratio is less than 1/5, the total surface area of the water-absorbing polymer after water absorption becomes small, the amount of metal powder attached decreases, and the effect of promoting the reaction by increasing the contact area of metal powder with air and water increases. descend. For this reason, after putting a water vapor generating composition under air, time until water vapor is generated cannot be shortened.
[0018]
Further, in order to efficiently attach the metal powder to the surface of the absorbed water-absorbing polymer, the total weight ratio of the metal powder, the water-absorbing polymer and water [(metal powder / (water-absorbing polymer + water)] is 1 / 2-2. It is preferable to adjust to 1/2, and it is particularly preferable to adjust to 1/2 to 3/2.
[0019]
In addition to the above-described components, the steam generating composition of the present invention may contain a reaction accelerator or a fragrance that accelerates the oxidation reaction of the metal powder, if necessary.
[0020]
The reaction accelerator is preferably blended in order to particularly accelerate the rise of water vapor generation when the water vapor generating composition is placed in the air. As the reaction accelerator, activated carbon, carbon black, graphite and the like can be contained. The content of the reaction accelerator is usually 1 to 10% by weight. In particular, when the fragrance is contained in the water vapor generating composition, the fragrance is not adsorbed by the reaction accelerator so that the smell is suppressed. The content of the reaction accelerator is preferably 1 to 3% by weight.
[0021]
Examples of the fragrances include single fragrances such as menthol and eucalyptol, natural fragrances such as peppermint and spearmint, and blended fragrances. In addition, an essential oil component having a relaxing effect such as cedrol may be blended. When cedrol is blended, its purity is preferably 99% or more, particularly preferably 99.5% or more. If the purity is less than 99%, the odor of impurities is strongly felt, and the relaxed feeling is lowered.
[0022]
When these are powders, the fragrance and the essential oil component may be mixed with the water vapor generating composition as they are, and when they are liquid, they may be adsorbed and mixed with a support such as silica or the water vapor generating composition as it is. May be mixed. In addition, as a usage form of a fragrance | flavor, you may hold | maintain the sheet | seat etc. which made the fragrance | flavor adsorb | suck to the bag body etc. which are filled with a water vapor generating composition directly besides mix | blending with a water vapor generating composition.
[0023]
The blending amount of the fragrance and the essential oil component depends on the kind thereof, but for example, when 0.05 to 2% by weight of cedrol is blended, cedol is effectively volatilized together with the steam when steam is generated from the steam generating composition. It is preferable because it can give a relaxed feeling.
[0024]
The water vapor generating composition of the present invention can be prepared by mixing each component, and the mixing order is not particularly limited, but the metal powder adhering material having the metal powder adhering to the surface of the absorbed water absorbing polymer is efficiently obtained. In order to obtain, first, an aqueous salt solution is prepared, and sprayed into a mixture of a metal powder and a water-absorbing polymer which is stirred in a non-oxidizing atmosphere to obtain a water-absorbing polymer metal powder adhering material, and then activated carbon. Add reaction accelerators, fragrances, etc.
[0025]
The water vapor generator of the present invention is a bag filled with the above-mentioned water vapor generating composition of the present invention, wherein 2 g or more of water vapor is released from the entire water vapor generator in 15 minutes. .
[0026]
Here, the water vapor generated from the water vapor generator includes both water vaporized into a gas and so-called steam condensing the gas into fine water droplets.
[0027]
Further, the water vapor release amount is a numerical value measured by the method described in Examples described later.
[0028]
In the present invention, the amount of water vapor released from the entire water vapor generator needs to be 2 g or more in 15 minutes, and is preferably in the range of 2 to 6 g. If the amount of water vapor released in 15 minutes is less than 2 g, the nasal cavity, mouth, throat, etc. cannot be sufficiently moistened with water vapor. On the other hand, if the amount is more than 6 g, when the water vapor generator of the present invention is incorporated in a mask covering the nose or mouth, if the mask has no vent, heat irritation occurs on the skin covered with the mask. There is a fear.
[0029]
It is preferable that 30 mg or more of water vapor is released in 15 minutes per 1 cm 2 from the moisture permeable surface of the bag. When the amount of water vapor released for 15 minutes per 1 cm 2 is less than 30 mg, the surface area of the bag body for obtaining a sufficient amount of water vapor generation is increased, and the area of the water vapor generator is increased accordingly. In addition, the area to be applied to the nasal cavity and the mouth becomes excessively wide, and the usability is deteriorated.
[0030]
Further, as the water vapor generating ability of the water vapor generating body, when the water vapor generating body is placed under air at 20 ° C., the amount of water vapor released of 0.2 g / min or more lasts for 5 minutes or more, particularly 5 to 15 minutes. It is preferable to do so. If the water vapor release amount is less than 0.2 g / min, or if it is 0.2 g / min or more and the duration is less than 5 minutes, the nasal cavity, mouth, throat, etc. can be sufficiently moisturized. Can not.
[0031]
Furthermore, it is preferable that the amount of water vapor released when the water vapor generating body is placed at 20 ° C. in air is 0.2 g / min or more within 3 minutes, particularly within 2.5 minutes.
[0032]
To ensure such a steam generating ability, bag filling the steam-generating composition, the at least one surface is assumed to have a permeability Shimemen moisture permeability 7000~15000g / m 2 / 24Hr. Here, the moisture permeability is a numerical value measured by the JIS Z0208 method. Moisture permeability 7000 g / m 2 / low water vapor is not sufficiently transmitted from 24Hr, undesirable powder leakage opposed 15000g / m 2 / 24Hr larger than steam-generating composition is produced.
[0033]
The constituent material of the bag body is not particularly limited as long as it has such moisture permeability. For example, nylon, vinylon, polyester, rayon, acetate, acrylic, polyethylene, polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride and other artificial fibers, pulp, cotton, Examples thereof include woven fabrics, non-woven fabrics, papers, synthetic papers, etc., in which one or more selected from natural fibers such as hemp, silk, and animal hair are mixed. In addition, a non-breathable film or sheet (for example, polyethylene, polypropylene, polyamide, polyester, polyvinyl chloride, polyvinylidene chloride, polyurethane, polystyrene, saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, natural Rubber, recycled rubber, synthetic rubber, etc.) having micropores can also be used. Even when a sheet made of any material is used, the moisture permeability is set to the above-described range by appropriately adjusting the size of pore diameter, density of pore diameter, basis weight, and the like of the sheet.
[0034]
Note that the entire surface of the bag body does not necessarily have to be formed with the above-described surface having moisture permeability. For example, when forming a bag body from two surfaces which oppose, you may comprise one surface as the above-mentioned moisture-permeable surface and the other surface from a moisture-impermeable material. Thereby, the divergence of the water vapor released from the water vapor generating composition can be prevented, and the water vapor can be efficiently guided in a predetermined direction.
[0035]
Moreover, there is no restriction | limiting in particular also in the shape of a bag body, For example, when incorporating and using a water vapor | steam generator in a predetermined mask, it is preferable to make it match the shape of the mask.
[0036]
In the steam generator of the present invention, the filling density of the steam generating composition is 0.1 to 0.4 g / cm 2 . When the packing density is larger than 0.4 g / cm 2 , diffusion of oxygen in the bag body is hindered, which is not preferable.
[0037]
The water vapor generator of the present invention is stored in a sealed bag, a sealed container or the like, taken out therefrom, and used for supplying water vapor to a nasal cavity, mouth, throat, or any other site. The method of use is not particularly limited, and may be incorporated into a commercially available gauze mask, a non-woven fabric mask, or the like. For example, as shown in FIG. 2, the opening surface 11 has a size that can cover the mouth and nose at once. A hollow mask 10 equipped with is used. This mask 10 is made of a film material or cloth, etc., and when it is held by hand and covers the mouth and nose, the original three-dimensional shape may be deformed to some extent, but the shape retention property is generally maintained. It is provided. The mask 10 has a pair of flap-shaped holding pieces 13 at the edge of the opening surface 11 of the mask body 12. When the water vapor generator 1 is incorporated into the mask 10, the water vapor generator 1 is disposed in the hollow interior of the mask 10 as shown in FIG. The holding piece 13 is folded inward, and the hooking portions 14a and 14b provided at the edges of the pair of flap-like holding pieces 13 are hooked to each other. As shown in FIG. The mask body 12 and the flap-shaped holding piece 13 are sandwiched and fixed. In addition, as shown in FIG. 1, the water vapor generating body 1 used for the mask 10 is formed by joining a peripheral portion 4 and a central portion 5 of a substantially rectangular moisture-permeable sheet 2 and a non-moisture-permeable sheet 3 to form a central band-shaped portion. A pair of flat water vapor generating composition containing portions 7 is formed on both the left and right sides of 6, and both end portions of the central strip portion 6 are constricted so as to match the hollow internal shape of the mask 10. .
[0038]
Thus, by using the water vapor generator 1 incorporated in the mask 10, a sufficient amount of water vapor can be easily supplied to the nasal cavity, mouth, throat, etc., and a feeling of relaxation can be obtained.
