従来、補強コードを埋設したカーカス材料等のタイヤ構成材料の製造において、補強コードを並列に均一に引き揃えるカレンダーロールでは、図4に示すように補強コードのガイド溝1を複数並列に形成したスレッドバーと呼称されるガイドプレート2や、外周面に複数のガイド溝を並列に形成したスレッドロールと呼称されるガイドロールを用いている。
