Description
The present invention relates to a sample measuring device, and more particularly to a sample measuring device for measuring a radioactive substance in a sample by feeding a sample container from a rack into a measuring unit.
The sample measurement device is a device that performs radiation measurement on each sample. In the sample measuring device, a rack holds a plurality of sample containers. Each sample container contains a sample, and the sample is, for example, a liquid to be measured to which a liquid scintillator is added. Examples of the liquid to be measured include blood and urine extracted from a living body. Of course, sample measurement devices are used in various fields such as biotechnology other than clinical tests and water distribution management.
In the sample measurement device, as described in Patent Documents 1 and 2, the sample container taken out from the rack is accommodated in the measurement unit, and in this state, the radioactive substance contained in the sample is measured. Specifically, when the radiation emitted from the radioactive material causes the liquid scintillator mixed in the sample to emit light, the light exits from the sample container and is detected by the photomultiplier tube. After the measurement is completed, the sample container is returned to the rack. This is repeated for each sample container. In the conventional apparatus, the sample container is fed into the measurement unit by pushing up the sample container held in the rack from below. A shutter is provided at the opening of the measurement unit, the shutter is closed during measurement, and the shutter is opened when the sample container is raised and lowered. Conventionally, only one system shutter is provided. In the conventional apparatus, a member for guiding the sample container is not provided in the measurement unit, and a mechanism for efficiently guiding the light from the liquid scintillator to the photomultiplier tube is not provided.
In the conventional sample measuring apparatus, when the sample container falls or wobbles in the process of transporting the sample container from the rack into the measuring unit, the sample container may collide with the opening in the measuring unit. Further, if the sample container unnecessarily contacts each part of the apparatus during the transportation of the sample container, problems such as physical wear and contamination are likely to occur.
An object of the present invention is to enable a sample container to be properly transported between a rack and a measurement unit.
Another object of the present invention is to prevent or reduce the sample container from falling or wobbling in the course of conveyance between the rack and the measuring unit.
The present invention accommodates a sample container sent from a rack, measures a radiation substance contained in the sample in the sample container, and raises the sample container from the rack to send it into the measurement unit. A first raising / lowering mechanism for lowering the sample container from the measurement unit and returning it to the rack; and a relay guide member for accommodating the sample container and holding the standing state when the sample container is raised and lowered by the first raising / lowering mechanism. And a second lifting mechanism that lifts and lowers the relay guide member when the sample container is lifted and lowered by the first lifting mechanism.
According to the above configuration, when the first elevating mechanism raises or lowers the sample container, the relay guide member that houses the sample container also rises or descends together, so the posture of the sample container is maintained, It is possible to prevent the sample container from unnecessarily colliding with or contacting other members.
Preferably, the relay guide member has a cylindrical shape penetrating vertically to wrap around the sample container. Preferably, the relay guide member is formed of a conductive member. Preferably, the relay guide member is electrically grounded. The sample container is made of a material such as plastic or glass. However, if static electricity is generated when the relay guide member and the sample container rub against each other, the measurement may be hindered. It is desirable to configure so as to release static electricity. As the shape of the relay guide member, forms other than the cylindrical shape are also conceivable. You may make it match the form and size with the form and size of a sample container.
Preferably, the first elevating mechanism has a rod-like member that pushes up the bottom surface of the sample container, and in the state where the sample container is pushed up by the rod-like member, the fall of the sample container is regulated by the relay guide member that accommodates it. Is done. If the sample container cannot be kept upright simply by pushing it up with a rod-shaped member, or if the sample container falls down, it is effective to accommodate the sample container in the relay guide member or pass through it. Can be dealt with.
Desirably, before raising the sample container from the rack, the second elevating mechanism positions the relay guide member in a position immediately above the sample container, thereby forming a receiving state. By sending the relay guide member to the vicinity of the sample container to be transported, the sample container can be smoothly accommodated in the relay guide member, and the problem that the sample container collapses and wobbles before the accommodation is effective. Can be prevented.
Preferably, as the sample container is raised by the first lifting mechanism, the second lifting mechanism lifts the relay guide member, thereby forming an interlocked rising state. Preferably, after the sample container is fed into the measurement unit, the second lifting mechanism lowers the relay guide member from the rising end position to the standby position before radiation measurement, and after the radiation measurement, the sample Prior to the lowering of the container, the second elevating mechanism raises the relay guide member from the standby position to the rising end position. According to this, a member that may be an obstacle to measurement can be withdrawn from the measurement chamber or the vicinity thereof. The member is, for example, the relay guide member itself or another guide member pushed up by the relay guide member. Preferably, as the sample container is lowered by the first raising / lowering mechanism, the second raising / lowering mechanism lowers the relay guide member, thereby forming an interlocked lowering state. A device with high reliability can be configured if appropriate guidance is given both when the vehicle is raised and when it is lowered.
Preferably, the measurement unit has an internal guide member that can be moved up and down to accommodate the sample container, and the relay guide member pushes up the internal guide member when the relay guide member is raised. According to this configuration, the driving force generated by the second lifting mechanism can be transmitted to the internal guide member. That is, another drive mechanism for the internal guide member may be provided, but according to the above configuration, a plurality of members can be moved up and down by a single drive mechanism.
As described above, according to the present invention, the sample container can be properly transported between the rack and the measurement unit. Alternatively, according to the present invention, the sample container can be prevented from falling or wobbling during the conveyance process between the rack and the measurement unit.
DESCRIPTION OF EXEMPLARY EMBODIMENTS Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 shows a preferred embodiment of a sample measuring apparatus according to the present invention, and FIG. 1 is a schematic cross-sectional view showing a configuration of a measuring unit in the sample measuring apparatus. The sample measurement device according to this embodiment is configured as a liquid scintillation counter. Of course, the present invention can also be applied to other measuring apparatuses.
A
The sample processing apparatus according to the present embodiment includes a
The
The
In the example shown in FIG. 1, the
In the present embodiment, the
Next, the
In the
A
Specifically, the
Note that the lower end portion of the
A
FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the measurement unit shown in FIG. A
The
A pair of
When the
As will be described later, the
During measurement, the
The
The
FIG. 1 shows an initial stage in which the
In FIG. 1, the
Next, an example of the operation of the sample measuring apparatus according to this embodiment will be described with reference to FIGS. 4 and 5. 4 and 5, (A) shows the operation of the
In S101, the following state is constructed. That is, the push-up
In S103, the push-up
In S104, as shown in FIG. 6, when the
In subsequent S106, only the
In S108, when the
Further, in S108, as shown in FIG. 8, at the same time as or before and after the rising of the
In S109, after the positioning of the
In S111, the measurement of the radioactive substance contained in the sample is executed for a predetermined time. This state is shown in FIGS. In FIG. 11, each reflecting
Turning to FIG. 5, in S112 after the measurement is completed, the
In S114, the
In S116, as shown in FIG. 13, when the
In S120, the movement stops when the
Incidentally, when the
In the above embodiment, the
Furthermore, in the
In the present embodiment, since the pair of reflecting
FIG. 14 shows a partially enlarged view of the push-up
Next, the charge eliminating means provided in the measurement unit will be described with reference to FIGS. 15 and 16. FIG. 15 shows the structure in the
On the other hand, the
FIG. 16 shows a state where the
According to such a configuration, even if the
Incidentally, the static elimination means is not limited to the
In the sample processing apparatus according to the present embodiment, as described above, it is possible to perform static elimination in the lower space of the shield and also in the upper space, and effective static elimination in such a series of processes. This is advantageous in that noise can be prevented during radiation measurement and the photodetector can be protected. By the way, the generation of metal powder is likely to occur when the metals rub against each other, and such metal powder may adversely affect the measurement, so one of the two members that may be in contact with the metal member. In this case, it is desirable to configure the other as a resin member. The
Next, a specific configuration example of the
The
Next, the middle
The
FIG. 18 shows a state where the push-up
